Description

Title of the invention: Packaging and dispensing system for a product, particularly a cosmetic product

[0001] The invention relates to a system for conditioning and distributing a product, in particular a cosmetic product.

[0002] It applies in particular to packaging and distribution systems for a cosmetic product for the eyes, such as, for example, mascara, or a product such as lipstick or lip care product.

[0003] A system comprising: is known from document EP-1 718 186 - a device for dispensing a product, particularly for the lips, comprising a cylindrical housing in which a glob of said product is mounted to move between a retracted position and a partially deployed position so that it can be applied by a user, and a ring mounted for rotation on said housing, the rotation of which allows translation of said glob relative to said housing; and - a cover in which said device is intended to be stored, and from which said device is intended to be ejected in order to be used.

[0004] In particular, the dispensing device is mounted movably in translation within the hood between a storage position, in which it is totally covered by said hood, and an ejection position, in which at least the displacement ring of the product grape is protruding from said hood so that it can be grasped by the user, for the purpose of extracting it from said hood.

[0005] To achieve this, the system is equipped with a mounting mechanism which includes an elastic constraint means for the distribution device in the ejection position, and a reversible locking means for said device in the storage position in the hood, said locking means being deactivated by manual pressing on the ring in the storage position, and activated by manual pressing on said ring in the ejection position.

[0006] In this document, the product and the distribution device are both moved by the actuation of the mounting mechanism in the hood, which proves to be complex to implement, particularly with regard to the integration of said mechanism with respect to said distribution device.

[0007] Furthermore, this system is not suitable in the case where the product is packaged in a tank and distributed by means of an applicator which is placed in said tank in storage position, in that it does not allow to simply ensure the sealing of said tank in storage position.

[0008] The invention aims to improve the prior art by proposing in particular a product conditioning and distribution system of simplified design and use, and which in particular allows a product distribution device to be mounted in a sealed manner in a conditioning tank.

[0009] To this end, the invention proposes a packaging and distribution system for a product, in particular a cosmetic product, said system comprising a packaging bottle for said product having a reservoir which is surmounted by an access neck for said reservoir, said system comprising a distribution device having a sealing association ring for said neck and an accessory, said ring being actuable between an associated position in which said accessory is disposed in said reservoir and a dissociated distribution position, said ring being surmounted by an actuating member and said system further comprising a cover having a lower part associated with the bottle and an upper part in which the actuating member is disposed,The actuating element comprises a cover which is mounted in translation relative to the ring between a retracted position within the bezel and a deployed position of said bezel for the purpose of actuating the dissociation of the distribution device, said system having a cover mounting mechanism which includes an elastic constraint device for the cover in the deployed position and a reversible locking device for said cover in the retracted position, said locking device being deactivated by manual pressure on said cover in the retracted position and activated by manual pressure on the cover in the deployed position to place it in the retracted position.

[0032] [Fig.9b] represent a conditioning and distribution system according to a second embodiment of the invention, [Fig.9a] representing the hood in longitudinal section, and [Fig.9b] representing in longitudinal section said system with said hood in retracted position in the trim;

[0033] [Fig. 10] is a partial perspective representation showing the associated ring on the bottle with the cap in the deployed position.

[0034] In relation to these figures, a system for conditioning and distributing a product, in particular for cosmetic use, is described below.

[0035] The product may be in liquid and / or paste form, and may in particular be intended for application to eyelashes, such as mascara, or to lips, such as a liquid-paste lipstick. gloss”, or a lip care product. The product may also be intended for other uses, including hygienic and / or pharmaceutical.

[0036] The system includes a product packaging bottle 1, which has a reservoir 2 surmounted by a neck 3 for accessing said reservoir.

[0037] The system further includes a product distribution device, which has a ring 4 for association with the neck 3 and an accessory 5, said ring being actuable between an associated position, in which said accessory is disposed in the reservoir 2 in particular ensuring the sealing of said reservoir, and a dissociated position for dispensing the product by means of said accessory.

[0038] The ring 4 is further surmounted by an actuating member to allow the dissociation of the distribution device from the reservoir 2. In the figures, the ring 4 is associated by rotation around the neck 3, in particular by screwing, the actuating member comprising a cap 6 rotationally fixed to the ring 4 which is arranged to allow the dissociation of the distribution device from the bottle 1 by rotation of said cap.

[0039] The accessory 5 can be arranged to allow application of the dispensed product, in particular to a part of a user's body. In the embodiments shown, the accessory 5 has a rod 7 whose lower end carries a brush 8, in order to allow the application of a product to the eyelashes.

[0040] Furthermore, the neck 3 is equipped with a wringer 9 for the brush 8 when it is removed from the reservoir 2, in order to allow the removal of any excess product from said brush, and thus ensure a homogeneous application of the product on the eyelashes.

[0041] Alternatively, accessory 5 may carry an applicator of another type, for example a brush or a pad, particularly for applying the product to the lips. Accessory 5 may also be adapted to dispense the product in another way, for example in the form of a pipette, to dispense the product in the form of droplets.

[0042] The system further comprises a trim piece 10 having a lower portion 11 associated with the bottle 1 and an upper portion 12 in which the cap 6 is located. In particular, the trim piece 10 can allow for customization of the system, notably by serving as a visual communication medium for the brand and / or the characteristics of the product to be distributed.

[0043] The trim 10 has an opening 13 formed at the free end of its lower part 11, to allow the introduction of at least a part of the bottle 1 into said lower part, and an opening 14 formed at the free end of its upper part 12, to allow access to the cap 6.

[0044] Advantageously, the cover 10 can be associated with the bottle 1 in a reversible manner, in order to allow an empty bottle 1 to be replaced while retaining The dispensing device, and / or to facilitate the recycling of the packaging system at the end of its life. Furthermore, the cover 10 conceals a refillable bottle 1, which may be of lower perceived quality, recycled, and / or have easier recyclability. The use of a cover 10 and a bottle 1 thus enables an eco-design of the system with a reduced environmental impact.

[0045] The reservoir 2 has a base 15 surmounted by a bearing surface 16 for association with the lower part 11 of the trim 10. In the embodiments shown, the bearing surface 16 has a screw thread to allow association by screwing the trim 10 onto the bottle 1. To do this, the trim 10 has an additional screw thread 17 formed in its lower part 11, in particular near the opening 13 for introducing the bottle 1.

[0046] As shown in [Fig.2a], the bottle 1 has an annular bearing surface 18 extending radially under the neck 3, said bearing being provided with a lug 19 on which notches 20 formed under the ring 4 engage at the end of the screwing stroke of the ring 4 on said neck, in order to form a means of securing said screwing.

[0047] The cover 6 is mounted in translation relative to the ring 4 between a retracted position in the upper part 12 of the trim piece 10, and a deployed position of said trim piece for the purpose of actuating the disengagement of the distribution device. In particular, the translational movement of the cover 6 is achieved while maintaining the connection of the distribution device and therefore the sealing of the reservoir 2, as long as the ring 4 is not disengaged from the neck 3 by means of the cover 6 by an actuation that is different from that of deploying said cover.

[0048] As shown in figures I and Id, the hood 6 in the deployed position is sufficiently salient from the trim 10 to allow its rotational actuation, in particular by manually grasping said hood, and thus allow the ring 4 to be unscrewed relative to the neck 3.

[0049] Advantageously, the product packaging bottle 1 remains attached to the trim ring 10, and only the product dispensing device is separated from the trim ring during use. This ensures a good seal of the system.

[0050] In relation to figures 5a, 5b, 5c and 5d, the hood 6 has an upper part 21 closed by a wall 22, as well as an open lower part 23 which is mounted to slide around the ring 4.

[0051] In particular, the cover 6 may include a disc 24 which is attached to the wall 22, notably for decorative purposes. To this end, as shown in particular in Figures 7a and 7b, the disc 24 comprises: - a lower span 26 equipped with means of association to the wall 22, in particular in the form of a lug 25 intended to be fitted into an additional housing 27 formed in said wall; - a higher span 28 on which a decoration can be formed, in particular by gluing, printing or engraving.

[0052] Advantageously, in the retracted position, the disc 24 is flush with the opening 14 of the trim 10. Alternatively, the disc 24 in the retracted position may be slightly protruding or slightly recessed relative to the opening 14.

[0053] The ring 4 is surmounted by a sleeve 29 around which the hood 6 is mounted in translation, while being rotationally secured to said sleeve to allow the unscrewing of said ring by rotational actuation of said hood.

[0054] To this end, as shown in Figures 5c, 5d and 6, the hood 6 has four vertical ribs 30 which are angularly equidistant on an inner wall of its lower part 23, and the sleeve 29 has four grooves 31 in each of which a rib 30 is engaged to allow the hood 6 to be guided in translation on the sleeve 29 while preventing the hood from rotating relative to the sleeve.

[0055] The bottle 1 also has an annular bearing surface 32 for guiding the translation of the lower part 23 of the cap 6. In particular, as shown in Figures 2a and 10, the bearing surface 32 has geometric means in the form of two longitudinal grooves 33 which are arranged to prevent - respectively allow - the cap 6 to be positioned in the retracted position when the ring 4 is dissociated - respectively associated - with the bottle 1. Thus, the system requires prior closure of the bottle 1 before the cap 6 can be retracted, which avoids any risk of leakage of the product if the system is stored with said cap retracted.

[0056] In relation to [Fig. 10], when the screwing of the ring 4 onto the neck 3 is secured by the engagement of the lug 19 in the notches 20, two vertical grooves 31 come angularly into the axial extension of the grooves 33, thus allowing the sliding of two ribs 30 along the bearing surface 32 towards the retracted position of the hood 6. Conversely, if the screwing is incomplete, the ribs 30 come into axial stop on the bearing surface 32, thus preventing the complete translation of the hood 6, and therefore its locking in the retracted position.

[0057] The cover 6 is mounted in translation relative to the ring 4 by means of a mounting mechanism which comprises: - a device 34 for elastically constraining the hood 6 in the deployed position; and - a device for locking said hood in the retracted position, which is deactivated by manually pressing on the said cover in the retracted position, and activated by manually pressing on the said cover in the deployed position to place it in the retracted position.

[0058] In the embodiments shown, the elastic constraint device includes a spring 34 which is compressed between the ring 4 and the cover 6. In particular, the spring 34 includes a helical winding 35 which has an upper end bearing on the wall 22 and a lower end bearing on the ring 4.

[0059] According to one embodiment, the reversible locking device comprises at least one finger 36 which is engaged in a heart-shaped cam 37. Referring to [Fig. 4a], the heart-shaped cam 37 comprises a continuous path for the finger 36 which has: - two tracks 38 arranged symmetrically with respect to the axis of translation of the hood 6, so as to allow the finger 36 to move up and down on one of them respectively; - an upper zone 39 for the junction of the tracks 38; and - a lower zone 40 for joining tracks 38, in the central part of which the finger 36 can be stably positioned, said central part being surrounded on both sides by two downward-inclined sides 41.

[0060] The operation of this locking device is as follows. In the deployed position ([Fig. 1a]), the spring 34 stably positions the finger 36 in the upper junction zone 39. Manual pressure on the wall 22 of the cover 6 induces a movement of the finger 36 in a track 38 and then, via the communicating panel 41, the spring 34 stably positions the finger 36 in the central part of the lower junction zone 40. The cover 6 is then locked in the retracted position in the trim 10 ([Fig. 1a]).

[0061] Next, by pressing on the hood 6 in the retracted position ([Fig. lb]), the finger 36 is unlocked by traveling along the other side 41 to be positioned in the other track 38 and, by releasing the hood 6, the spring 34 returns the finger 36 to the initial position, in order to return the hood 6 to the deployed position.

[0062] To improve the retention of the hood 6 in the deployed position, the reversible locking device further includes at least one finger 42 engaged in an axial groove 43 having an upper stop for the disposition of said hood in the deployed position.

[0063] According to one embodiment, the cam 37 and / or the groove 43 is integral with the sleeve 29. In the embodiments shown, the sleeve 39 has two diametrically opposed lateral flats 44, 45, the cam 37 being formed in a recess on one flat 44 and the groove 43 being formed in a recess on the other flat 45.

[0064] At least one finger 36, 42 may be integral with the cover 6. In particular, in each of the embodiments shown, the finger 42 cooperating with the axial groove 43 is formed in the lower part 23 of the hood 6, as shown in particular in figures 5b, 5c, 9a and 9b.

[0065] Furthermore, at least one finger 36, 42 can be attached to the elastic constraint device 34.

[0066] In the first embodiment, and as shown more particularly in Figures 8a and 8b, the spring 34 comprises a vertical arm 46 whose upper end is connected to the upper end of the helical winding 35, and whose free lower end forms a radial finger 36.

[0067] In particular, in these figures, the helical winding 35 is arranged in the sleeve 29, the arm 46 being arranged opposite the outer periphery of said sleeve on which the cam 37 is formed.

[0068] In an alternative not shown, the finger 42 cooperating with the axial groove 43 can also be integral with the spring 34, in particular by being formed in the lower part of an arm similar to the arm 46, said arm being arranged opposite the flat 45 on which said axial groove is formed.

[0069] In the embodiment shown in Figures 9a and 9b, the hood 6 has an internal arm 47 having an upper end associated with the periphery of said hood, in particular in its upper part 21, and a free lower end carrying a radial finger 36 which cooperates with the cam 37.
