Abstract

A battery assembly (40) generally parallelepiped-shaped, configured to supply electrical power to a work machine (1), the battery assembly (40) comprising: - a support plate (41); - at least two battery cells (60) fixed to an upper face (41B) of the support plate (41) with respect to a height direction of the battery assembly (40); the battery assembly (40) having a greater width ℓ in a width direction of the battery assembly, a greater length L in a length direction of the battery assembly, and a greater height h in the height direction of the battery assembly, the greater length L being greater than the greater width ℓ, the greater length L and the greater height h satisfying the inequality h / L ≤ 0.40.
