Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Buckle clasp with removable capsule Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of bracelet clasps, more precisely buckle clasps, for example of the folding clasp type, in particular for watch bracelets. The buckle bracelet clasps according to the invention can be implemented for mechanical, quartz or connected watches. STATE OF THE ART
[0002] The present invention relates to a clasp for a bracelet, in particular a bracelet such as a watch bracelet, the bracelet having two strands attached to the clasp, which is of the buckle type.
[0003] As is known, a buckle clasp allows a user to put a bracelet around the wrist in the open position of the clasp, then to close the buckle around the wrist so as to sufficiently enclose the wrist, in the attached position of the clasp. Such a clasp may in particular be of the folding clasp type. In this case, the clasp has at least two parts mounted to pivot relative to each other. The two parts of the folding clasp are attached to the bracelet, so as to form a closed bracelet. To move the clasp to the attached position, a first part of the clasp is held in continuity with the bracelet, for example resting on the user's wrist, while the second part of the clasp pivots until it fits the first part of the clasp. By means of complementary retaining means, the second part is fixed to the first. In this way, the bracelet is attached to the user's wrist.Release means, for example in the form of push buttons on either side of the buckle, allow the clasp to be returned to the open position.
[0004] In the case of a watch, the bracelet comprises two strands attached respectively, by one end, to the watch case and, by their other end, to one of the two parts of the clasp.
[0005] Furthermore, as is known, many golf players wear a watch, for example a smart watch, while playing their sport. During a round of golf, it is necessary to mark the position of the ball after playing a shot, so as to be able to place the ball precisely in the same position during the next shot.
[0006] For this purpose, players use a golf ball marker, or "bail marker" in English. The problem addressed here concerns in particular the function of a golf ball marker. For golf players, there are a constraint to carry such a golf ball marker on oneself.
[0007] The present invention proposes as a solution a buckle clasp system which incorporates such a golf ball marker, housed in a housing provided in the clasp, the ball marker being removable, advantageously easy to grasp and replace in the housing. More generally, the buckle clasp according to the invention makes it possible to carry, housed in a housing provided in the clasp, a removable capsule which the user can extract and reinsert into the housing, at leisure.
[0008] In the clasp according to the invention, the characteristics linked to the integration of the removable capsule, in particular the golf ball marker, are advantageously independent of the closing means of the clasp itself. PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION
[0009] More specifically, the subject of the invention is a buckle clasp system for a bracelet, the bracelet, in particular a watch bracelet, comprising a first strand and a second strand, the buckle clasp system comprising a first part adapted to be fixed to the first strand and having retaining means, and a second part having fixing means complementary to the retaining means, for fixing the second part to the first part of the buckle clasp system, making it possible to attach the bracelet to the wrist of a user, the buckle clasp system further comprising a removable capsule, the second part having a cover having an upper part having a thickness and a lower part, the cover comprising, arranged in the thickness of the upper part, a housing, the housing having a flat bottom corresponding to the lower part of the cover, the housing being configured to house the removable capsule, the removable capsule having a shape corresponding to the housing, the system further comprising clamping means, the clamping means ensuring magnetic and / or mechanical clamping, configured to hold the removable capsule in the housing.
[0010] The location of the housing accommodating the removable capsule in the cover of the buckle clasp and the magnetic and / or mechanical clamping means are suitable for integration of the removable capsule in a buckle clasp of a bracelet intended to fit the curvature of a user's wrist and for normal use allowing the removable capsule to be frequently extracted and reinserted with respect to the housing.
[0011] The removable capsule may be a golf ball marker, suitable for marking the position of a golf ball on a golf course.
[0012] According to one embodiment, the clamping means comprise guide rails arranged longitudinally in the mass of the lower part of the cover, to guide the removable capsule in translation, in a direction corresponding to a longitudinal axis of the bottom of the housing, so as to, in a first direction of translation, guide the removable capsule into the housing and, in a second translation direction opposite to the first, allow the extraction of the removable capsule so that the user can grasp it.
[0013] In particular, the guide rails can be hollowed out in the mass of the lower part of the cover, on two lateral faces and opposite the housing, the rails being parallel to the longitudinal axis of the bottom of the housing, and the removable capsule comprises corresponding grooves capable of sliding in the rails.
[0014] According to another embodiment, the clamping means comprise two grooves and two corresponding lugs, the lugs having a mushroom shape, the two grooves being arranged on two parallel lateral faces of the cover, and the two lugs being provided on two parallel faces of the removable capsule, or, conversely, the two grooves being arranged on two parallel lateral faces of the removable capsule, and the two lugs being provided on two parallel faces of the cover.
[0015] According to one embodiment, the clamping means ensure magnetic clamping of the removable capsule in the housing and comprise at least one magnet arranged at the bottom of the housing.
[0016] In particular, the at least one magnet may be offset relative to a median transverse axis of the bottom of the housing.
[0017] According to another embodiment, the at least one magnet is aligned on a median transverse axis of the bottom of the housing.
[0018] According to one embodiment, retaining means, among a ball or a protuberance, are provided at the bottom of the housing and cooperate with complementary retaining means provided on a lower face of the removable capsule.
[0019] In particular, the housing has the shape of a profiled rectangular parallelepiped.
[0020] According to one embodiment, the buckle is of the folding buckle type, the second part of the buckle being pivotally mounted on the first part.
[0021] In particular, the second part of the buckle clasp system comprises a passage for the first strand, at least one mushroom and means for releasing the second part from the first part.
[0022] The present invention also relates to a watch comprising a bracelet having two strands and a buckle clasp system as briefly described above.
[0023] According to one embodiment, one of the strands of the bracelet, upstream of the housing, comprises a deflection rib adapted to deflect the removable capsule during its extraction.
[0024] According to one embodiment, the watch comprises electronic calculation means and a memory space, as well as means of connection to a digital data network. PRESENTATION OF FIGURES

[0033] It should be noted that the figures set out the invention in detail to enable the invention to be implemented, said figures of course being able to serve to better define the invention where appropriate. As indicated previously, the embodiments shown are not limiting. In particular, in the embodiments shown, the buckle of the clasp according to the invention is of the folding buckle type. However, the invention can also be implemented in a buckle clasp of the pin type. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0034] As shown in [Fig.l], the invention relates to a buckle clasp 1, which may be of the folding buckle type, or, alternatively, of the pin type, for a bracelet, in particular a watch bracelet, for example a connected watch bracelet, the clasp comprising a removable capsule 60 housed in a housing provided in the buckle clasp 1.
[0035] An advantage of the invention is to allow the integration, in a buckle clasp, of a removable capsule 60 particularly adapted to provide the function of a golf ball marker. Another advantage of the invention lies in the fact that this integration is carried out in an aesthetic manner and with a high level of perceived quality for the user. The removable capsule 60, being adapted to form a golf ball marker golf, in particular has a size adapted to this use, that is to say that it is visible to the user nearby, when it is placed on the ground on a golf course.
[0036] More specifically, with reference to the figures, the present invention proposes a buckle clasp 1 in which a housing 530 is provided, for example a cavity, for housing a removable capsule 60, in particular a golf ball marker.
[0037] The buckle clasp 1 further comprises a cover 50 housing at least in part the means for retaining and releasing the at least two parts of the clasp. In the cover 50 of the buckle 1, a housing 530 is created capable of housing the removable capsule 60. More precisely, the housing 530 is arranged in an upper part 51 of the cover 50. For example, the housing 530 is a cavity hollowed out in the thickness of the upper part 51 of the cover 50. The housing 530 has a shape corresponding to the shape of the removable capsule 60. Preferably, the housing 530 has substantially the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped. According to one embodiment, the rectangular parallelepiped shape is said to be “profiled”, that is to say that the housing 530 has a bottom 531 having a curvature, in particular corresponding to the curvature of the clasp, in the continuity of the bracelet as attached to the user's wrist.
[0038] A lower part 52 of the cover 50 comprises means for holding the removable capsule 60 in the housing 530.
[0039] More precisely, to maintain the removable capsule 60 in the housing 530, clamping means are implemented. These clamping means can provide magnetic and / or mechanical clamping.
[0040] With reference to Figures 2A, 2B and 6, said clamping means provide magnetic clamping and consist mainly of a magnet or, preferably, several magnets 501, 601, arranged at the bottom 531 of the housing 530 and / or on a lower face of the removable capsule 60. This embodiment is described in detail below. According to one embodiment, said magnets 501 are integrated into the bottom 531 of the housing 530.
[0041] Preferably, the magnets 501, 601 are aligned on a transverse median axis of the housing 530. Here, the term “transverse median axis” means an axis orthogonal to a main longitudinal direction of the clasp in the continuity of the bracelet, and dividing the bottom 531 of the housing 530 into two parts of substantially equal surfaces.
[0042] However, the magnets 501, 601 could also be offset relative to this median transverse axis.
[0043] According to the invention, the magnet(s) 501, 601 are configured so as to generate on the removable capsule 60, in particular the golf ball marker, a magnetic force of attraction adapted to ensure its retention in the housing 530, including when the user wears the watch while playing golf. For this purpose, the magnetic force of attraction generated by the magnets 501, 601 when the removable capsule 60, in particular the golf ball marker, is entirely housed in the housing 530, is in particular between 1.0 N and 3.0 N, more particularly between 1.5 N and 2.0 N.
[0044] Furthermore, according to one embodiment, the magnets 501, 601 are configured, in their position aligned with the median transverse axis at the bottom 531 of the housing 530, and in the magnetic force of attraction that they generate, so as to ensure that the removable capsule 60 is held in the housing 530 in quasi-unstable equilibrium. In other words, a force having a longitudinal component, i.e. orthogonal to the median transverse axis, or even tangent to the clasp in the continuity of the bracelet, of low modulus, i.e. a modulus only greater than or equal to an extraction threshold which can typically have a value of 1.0 N, is sufficient to extract the removable capsule 60 from an area in which the magnetic force of attraction generated by the magnets 501, 601 is mainly exerted. As a result, as soon as the user applies a force greater than the extraction threshold of 1.0 N, the removable capsule 60 easily translates towards the outside of the housing 530.
[0045] Preferably, upstream of the housing 530, a deflection rib may be provided on the bracelet. As soon as the removable capsule 60 moving towards the outside of the housing 530 abuts on said deflection rib, the deflection rib deflects the trajectory of the removable capsule 60, acting as a deflector, so that the removable capsule 60 lifts and becomes easy to grasp between two fingers.
[0046] Various other embodiments are described below, in connection with the figures.
[0047] Generally speaking, the buckle clasp 1 according to the invention may in particular be of the folding clasp type. In this case, the folding clasp comprises, for example, on its first part 11, a bar with a passage for a first strand 80 which passes through the passage and is retained by a bead of the first strand 80, preventing the translation of the first strand 80 in the opposite direction, and / or by a mechanical clamping between the first part 11 of the folding clasp and the first strand 80. The second part 12 of the folding clasp comprises, for example, a rod capable of passing through a tube for the passage of the second strand and of being retained by its two ends in corresponding cavities of the second part 12 of the folding clasp. The second part 12 can be folded over the first part 11 to tighten the bracelet around the user's wrist, the first and second parts 11, 12 being fixed to each other by means of locking means, for example mushrooms engaging in corresponding orifices, coupled with release means 5. In any event, the manner in which the folding clasp is fixed to the bracelet and the manner in which it locks and unlocks to pass . from a closed position to an open position and vice versa are not part of the present invention and those skilled in the art have every opportunity to use, in these aspects, any known technology.
[0048] In all cases, the buckle of the buckle clasp 1 according to the invention comprises a cover 50. The cover 50 may in particular be configured to house and mask, for aesthetic purposes, the locking and release means of the buckle. According to the invention, the housing 530 specially configured to house the removable capsule 60 is arranged in the mass of the cover 50; for example, the housing 530 is a cavity hollowed out in the thickness of the upper part 51 of the cover 50.
[0049] According to the invention, a housing 530 is thus created in the upper part 51 of the cover 50, for example a cavity hollowed out in the mass of the upper part 51 of the cover 50 or provided during the manufacture of the cover 50 by stamping. The housing 530 has in particular a shape of a profiled rectangular parallelepiped, with a bottom 531 which is preferably flat, that is to say two-dimensional only, without asperity and with reduced roughness. Adequate flatness and roughness participate separately and together in promoting the adhesion of the removable capsule 60 in the housing 530, by maximizing the contact surface, which is particularly effective with the magnetic clamping method described in detail below.
[0050] The removable capsule 60 is configured to have a volume corresponding to that of the housing 530, in particular complementary to the housing 530 created in the cover 50. According to one embodiment, a pattern is provided on the top of the removable capsule 60, forming an extra thickness, so as to improve the grip and thus facilitate the gripping or translation of the removable capsule 60 with a view to its extraction.
[0051] The upper part 51 of the cover 50 may be provided to be pivoted so as to make the contents of the housing 530 accessible. Alternatively, the upper part 51 of the cover 50 may be translated. In this case, the translation direction of the cover is opposite to the direction in which the removable capsule 60 is moved to extract it from the housing 530.
[0052] According to one embodiment, as can be seen in [Fig. 6], upstream of the housing 530, on the bracelet strand fixed to the clasp upstream of the cover 50, a deflection rib 81 is provided. The deflection rib 81 acts as a “deflector”: in other words, when the removable capsule 60 is pressed with the thumb, in order to extract it from the housing 530, in particular by initiating a translation towards the outside of the housing 530 in order to grasp it, the removable capsule 60 is initiated to slide towards the outside of the housing 530 by translating it along a longitudinal axis of the bottom 531 of the housing 530, along the buckle, in the direction of the deflection rib 81; the deflection rib 81 deflects and lifts the removable capsule 60 in translation, which makes it easier to grasp.
[0053] Magnetic clamping of the removable capsule in the housing:
[0054] According to one embodiment, as shown in Figures 2A, 2B and 6, a magnetic clamping of the removable capsule 60 in the housing 530 is provided. The magnetic clamping uses at least one magnet 501, 601, in particular a plurality of magnets 501, 601, in particular three magnets or six magnets. In particular, the magnets 501 can be provided only on the cavity side; the removable capsule 60 is then made of a corresponding material, that is to say capable of cooperating with the magnets so that a magnetic force of attraction is created between the magnets and the removable capsule 60. In particular, the removable capsule 60 is for example made of steel or titanium.
[0055] According to one embodiment, magnets 601 are provided on a lower face of the removable capsule 60, either in place of, or in addition to, those previously described as provided at the bottom 531 of the housing 530.
[0056] As shown in FIGS. 2A, 2B, the magnet(s) 501, 601 may be housed in corresponding recesses 502, 602, provided at the bottom 531 of the housing 530 and / or, where appropriate, on a lower face of the removable capsule 60. The magnet(s) may also be glued.
[0057] The magnetization is configured so that a magnetic force of attraction, ensuring the maintenance of the removable capsule 60 in the housing 530, is adapted to prevent the removable capsule 60 from becoming dislodged from the housing 530 independently, including when the bracelet, in particular the watch comprising the bracelet with the buckle clasp 1 according to the invention, is worn. This is particularly true when the user plays golf and the removable capsule 60 is a golf ball marker.
[0058] The term “adapted magnetic attraction force” means a magnetic attraction force whose modulus is between 1.0 N and 3.0 N when the removable capsule 60 is located directly above the magnet(s) 501 on the housing side 530, depending on the embodiment, and in contact with the bottom 531 of the housing 530 or at a distance from the bottom 531 of the housing 530 of less than 0.2 mm. Thus, the magnetic attraction force is such that the removable capsule 60 is held in the housing 530 and the force required to dislodge the removable capsule 60 from the housing 530, by action of the user, is adapted accordingly. In particular, the force to be applied to the removable capsule 60 in an extraction direction, in translation along an axis parallel to a longitudinal axis of the bottom 531 of the housing 530, is only of modulus greater than 1.0 N.
[0059] With reference to [Fig.2A] and [Fig.2B], a plurality of magnets 501, 601, in this case three magnets, is fixedly arranged at the bottom 531 of the housing 530. According to one embodiment, the magnets are “invisible” from the outside because they are located under the surface of the bottom 531 of the housing 530.
[0060] For this purpose, the magnets 501 are arranged or fixed to the bottom 531 of the housing 530, in particular in respective hollow recesses provided at the bottom 531 of the housing 530, then covered with a small plate of a material such as the material constituting the cover 50, or at least having a color identical or similar to that of the material of the cover 50. For example, the plate covering the magnets 501 is made of titanium. In particular, the buckle clasp 1 as a whole is for example made of the same material. The plate has for example a thickness of between 0.6 mm and 1.3 mm.
[0061] Alternatively, according to one embodiment, the magnet(s) 502 may be arranged on the removable capsule 60. The operation is otherwise identical to that in the case where the magnet(s) are arranged only at the bottom 531 of the housing 530.
[0062] According to another embodiment, corresponding to the embodiment shown in [Fig.2A], [Fig.2B] and [Fig.6], complementary magnets 501, 601 are arranged both at the bottom 531 of the housing 530 and on the removable capsule 60. In this case, the complementary shapes of the housing 530 and the removable capsule 60 can be configured so as to provide a foolproofing function. In other words, the housing 530 and the removable capsule 60 then have a shape such that there is a single direction of insertion of the removable capsule 60 into the housing 530, so that the complementary magnets 501, 601 cooperate so as to generate a magnetic force of attraction, and not of repulsion.
[0063] According to the preferred embodiment shown in Figures 2A and 2B, three magnets 501 are arranged at the bottom 531 of the housing 530 and three magnets 502 are arranged on a lower face of the removable capsule 60. Three magnets 501 are aligned on an axis corresponding substantially to a median transverse axis of the bottom 531 of the housing 530. Correspondingly, three magnets 502 are arranged in a manner aligned substantially on a median transverse axis of the removable capsule 60. The magnets 501, 601, on the housing 530 side or on the removable capsule 60 side can for example be replaced by metal elements cooperating with the magnets 501, 601 arranged on the removable capsule 60 or at the bottom 531 of the housing 530, respectively.
[0064] In the embodiment of [Fig.l], the upper part 51 of the cover 50 pivots to cover or on the contrary allow access to the housing 530, as already briefly described previously.
[0065] According to an alternative embodiment not shown, the magnets can be eccentric, that is to say offset relative to the median transverse axis of the bottom 531 of the housing 530. The magnets are then aligned with each other but offset in a direction corresponding to the longitudinal axis of the bottom 531 of the housing 530, towards the inside of the housing 530, that is to say in a direction opposite to the extraction direction corresponding to the direction in which the removable capsule 60 is translated to extract it from the housing 530. In particular, the magnets can then be offset by approximately 1.5 mm relative to the median transverse axis. The same applies, where appropriate, to the magnets on the removable capsule 60 side.
[0066] In all embodiments implementing magnetic clamping of the removable capsule 60 in the housing 530, preferably, the arrangement of the magnets 501, 601 and the magnetic attraction force generated are configured so that, as soon as a traction force is exerted in a direction of extraction of the removable capsule 60, an imbalance of forces is created and the magnetic clamping force which held the removable capsule 60 in the housing 530 has a module which drops rapidly with the distance of the removable capsule 60 from the alignment axis of the magnets 501, 601, making it easy to move and therefore extract the ball marker.
[0067] It should be noted that, according to the invention, it is possible to provide, to ensure the magnetic clamping of the removable capsule 60 in the housing 530, a plurality of magnets, in particular three magnets, not aligned, whether at the bottom 531 of the housing 530 and / or on a lower face of the removable capsule 60. This then provides identical or similar holding of the capsule, or even superior in the sense that the resulting magnetic force of attraction would have, compared to the case where the magnets are aligned, an identical module, but the magnetic force of attraction would be more distributed over the entire contact surface between the removable capsule 60 and the bottom 531 of the housing 530. The resulting disadvantage is the counterpart of this more homogeneous distribution and therefore of this better stability: the force required to extract the removable capsule 60 would be greater.
[0068] In the preferred embodiment, in which one or two sets of three aligned magnets are used, in particular aligned on the median transverse axis of the bottom 531 of the housing 530, instability is created from the first millimeters of distance of the removable capsule 60 from the alignment axis of the magnets. This also applies when magnets are provided both at the bottom 531 of the housing 530 and on the removable capsule 60.
[0069] In the embodiment where magnets 501 are provided on the housing 530 side and on the removable capsule 60 side, a polarity reversal exists between the magnets on the housing 530 side and the magnets on the removable capsule 60 side. The respective complementary shapes of the removable capsule 60 and the housing 530 can in this case provide a foolproofing function. Alternatively, for the same purpose, alternating polarity of the magnets on the housing 530 side and on the removable capsule 60 side can be provided, correspondingly.
[0070] According to one embodiment, however, for practical reasons, the removable capsule 60 has a shape allowing it to be inserted indifferently in one direction or the other. In this case, in particular, the magnet(s) 501 are arranged only at the bottom 531 of the housing 530, preferably under the surface of the bottom 531 of the housing 530, and the removable capsule 60 comprises a material complementary to the magnet(s).
[0071] Mechanical clamping of the removable capsule in the housing:
[0072] With reference to [Fig. 3], the clamping of the removable capsule 60 in the housing 530 can also be mechanical. According to this embodiment, grooves are hollowed out in the mass of the second part 12 of the buckle clasp 1, more precisely in the lower part 52 of the cover 50, on two external and parallel lateral faces, the grooves being for example on a promontory provided in the housing 530 and hollowed out below an upper surface of the promontory, intended to be in contact with the lower face of the removable capsule 60. Correspondingly, lugs, such as substantially cylindrical protuberances, are provided on two internal faces located opposite each other on the removable capsule 60. The lugs are inserted into the grooves to guide the removable capsule 60 in the housing 530 and hold it there.Conversely, the lugs are guided in the grooves until the removable capsule 60 is extracted when the user grasps the removable capsule 60.
[0073] In particular, the grooves open to the outside to allow the extraction of the removable capsule 60.
[0074] More particularly, with reference to [Fig. 3], the grooves 510 advantageously have at least two sections 511, 512 extending in main directions forming an angle between them, in particular an angle of between 30° and 150°. For each groove 510, a first section 511 opens onto the outside, with regard to the mass of the housing 530, allowing the entry or exit of the lugs. For each groove 510, a second section 512 forms an angle with the first section 511, in particular of between 30° and 150°, preferably greater than 90°, for example equal to 120°, the angle being rounded, to facilitate the sliding of the lugs in the respective grooves 510 from or towards a final position in which the removable capsule 60 is housed and held in the housing 530.
[0075] According to one embodiment, the end portion 513 of the first section 511, which opens onto the exterior, can be widened to facilitate the introduction of the lugs into the grooves 510.
[0076] An embodiment implementing an alternative mechanical clamping is shown in [Fig. 4]. Rails 540 are provided on the side walls of the housing 530 and grooves 640 provided on the side faces of the removable capsule 60 are configured to be engaged in the rails 540 so as to guide the removable capsule 60 from or to the final position in which the removable capsule 60 is housed and held in the housing 530.
[0077] As shown in [Fig. 5], it may also be provided, in addition to the previous embodiment, a ball or a protuberance 70, in particular in a central position, ensuring a function of retaining the removable capsule 60 in translation, in particular by cooperating with a concavity provided on a lower face of the removable capsule 60, to prevent the removable capsule 60 from being extracted from the housing 530 independently.
[0078] Magnetic and mechanical clamping of the removable capsule in the housing:
[0079] With reference to [Fig. 6], the clamping of the removable capsule 60 in the housing 530 can be both mechanical and magnetic. In particular, guide means, such as rails 540, provide partial mechanical clamping while at least one magnet, provided on the bottom 531 of the housing 530 and / or on the removable capsule 60 additionally provides magnetic clamping.
[0080] The at least one magnet can thus be arranged in a recess 502, 602 corresponding to the bottom 531 of the housing 530 and / or on a lower face of the removable capsule 60. In particular, several magnets 501, 601 can be provided at the bottom 531 of the housing 530, aligned or not, and / or on the removable capsule 60.
