Description

Title of the invention: Cable passage device

[0001] The invention relates to a device for passing cables, in particular electrical cables.

[0002] The present invention relates to the field of manufacturing electrical equipment, more particularly the field of manufacturing cable passage devices which are designed to internally receive at least one electric cable and to pass at least one such electric cable from one place to another. Without being in any way limited thereto, such a cable passage will find a particularly suitable application when it comes to electrically connecting, on the one hand, an electric lock which equips an opening which a building comprises and, on the other hand, a control system (in particular a keypad, a card reader, a fingerprint reader or other), which is configured to control such an electric lock, and which equips a fixed element (in particular a frame, a partition, a wall or other) of such a building.

[0003] Cable passage devices are already known which comprise a flexible sheath, which is configured to internally receive at least one electric cable, and which comprises, on the one hand, two end portions which each extend along an axis and, on the other hand, an external helical rib which extends between the two ends of this flexible sheath. Such a cable passage device further comprises at least one housing which comprises receiving means which are configured to receive one of the two end portions of the flexible sheath.

[0004] In such a cable passage device, the end portion of the flexible sheath is capable of rotating around its axis, this relative to the receiving means of the housing. Under the effect of this rotation, said end portion of the flexible sheath unscrews relative to the housing until this end portion escapes from the housing and detaches from this housing. The electrical cable contained in this flexible sheath then undergoes traction which is likely to weaken and damage the electrical connection of this electrical cable, in particular with a terminal block or with connectors which are contained inside the housing. In addition, the detachment of this flexible sheath relative to the housing allows the penetration, inside this flexible sheath and / or this housing, of dirt and / or moisture which, again, are likely to damage such an electrical connection.

[0005] The present invention aims to remedy the cable passage devices of the state of the art.

[0006] To this end, the invention relates to a cable passage device, in particular an electric cable. This cable passage device comprises, on the one hand, a flexible sheath which comprises at least one end portion which extends along an axis as well as an external helical rib and / or an external helical groove and, on the other part, at least one housing which comprises receiving means which are configured to receive said at least one end portion of the flexible sheath. This cable passage device is characterized in that it comprises rotational immobilization means which are configured to immobilize said at least one end portion of the flexible sheath relative to said at least one housing, this in rotation around the axis along which said at least one end portion extends.

[0007] According to another characteristic, the rotational immobilization means comprise, on the one hand, rotational locking means comprised in said at least one end portion of the flexible sheath and, on the other hand, complementary rotational locking means comprised in said at least one housing, and which cooperate with the rotational locking means.

[0008] Yet another feature relates to the fact that said at least one end portion of the flexible sheath comprises a part of the external helical rib and / or a part of the external helical groove which comprises the rotation locking means. These rotation locking means comprise at least one notch.

[0009] According to an additional characteristic, the complementary rotation locking means comprise at least one lug.

[0010] Thus, the cable passage device according to the invention comprises means for immobilizing in rotation said at least one end portion of the flexible sheath relative to said at least one housing. The presence of these means for immobilizing in rotation advantageously allows said at least one end portion of the flexible sheath (and, therefore, the flexible sheath) not to unscrew relative to said at least one housing and, thus, to remain fixed to the housing.

[0011] These rotational immobilization means comprise, on the one hand, rotational locking means, which comprise said at least one end portion of the flexible sheath, and which comprise at least one notch and, on the other hand, complementary rotational locking means, which comprise said at least one housing, and which comprise at least one lug. These rotational immobilization means are, advantageously, constituted by means (notch, lug) which are of simple design, easy to produce, effective and durable and advantageously make it possible to secure said flexible sheath and said at least one housing in a reliable and durable manner.

[0012] Other aims and advantages of the present invention will appear during the description which follows relating to embodiments which are given only as indicative and non-limiting examples.

[0013] Understanding of this description will be facilitated by referring to the attached drawings in which:

[0014] [Fig.l] is a schematic view of a cable passage device according to the invention.

[0015] [Fig.2] is a schematic and exploded view of a part of the passage device of cable illustrated [Fig.l].
