Description

Title of the invention: Dead fish fishing assembly Technical field of the invention

[0001] The present invention relates to a mounting for fishing for dead fish.

[0002] Its use is to fish for predatory fish in the sea and in rivers as well as cephalopods in the sea.

[0003] By increasing the size of the assembly, the field of application can be extended to big game fishing at sea and in rivers (tuna, catfish).

[0004] The use of baits such as portions or strips of cephalopods and soft lures is possible according to the fisherman's wishes. State of the prior art

[0005] It is possible to find a multitude of assemblies having the same goals with similar technicalities and components: • treble hooks • piano wire • lead or tin • barrel-type swivels • small metal tubes • elastic wire or copper wire for ligatures • other elements of various materials which can vary the resistance, presentation or density of the assemblies.

[0006] Their differences are on the placement of each part for the expected result with a more or less strict balancing.

[0007] It is rare to find lures or rigs that would allow you to fish both fish and cephalopods with consistent yields. Presentation of the invention

[0008] This disclosure relates to a fishing assembly for handling fresh dead fish.

[0009] The fact that the baits are fresh and killed just before positioning is a guarantee for the performance of attacks.

[0010] But it is also possible to use frozen bait or bait preserved in salt, or even soft lures, knowing that this will have a negative impact on the performance of the attacks.

[0011] The possibility offered by this assembly to catch both fish and cephalopods (squid, cuttlefish) is due to the fact that the complete assembly is rigid except at the level of the swivel. This rigidity makes it easier to hook the cephalopods onto the two triple hooks which are arranged in a very specific way. That is to say with 2 branches of each triple hook which are perfectly parallel and opposite on a vertical axis in order to guarantee a better hold of the bait since it is encompassed by the four branches of the hooks. The third hook of each of the treble hooks is directed outwards in a perfectly horizontal position.

[0012] The assembly with the bait remains balanced in a horizontal position from its head to the tail when the line is brought back, and most importantly, it maintains the same balance in a stationary position when stopped when it is mounted with a float. This balance is achieved by the placement of the tube that separates the swivel and the lead head, its size can vary depending on the weight of the lead head, the weight of the hooks, the diameter, and the length of the piano wire that separates the lead head from the hooks.

[0013] This assembly allows you to fish for fish such as cephalopods by simply adapting the handling of the bait according to the species you are looking for. It is also selective in the size of the fish or cephalopods that attack.

[0014] This device aims to imitate a very lively and fast prey.

[0015] This device comprises: • 2 treble hooks (8) • piano wire (5)(6) • 1 barrel swivel (2) • 2 small metal tubes measuring from 0 to 5mm ((3) + crimping the ropes (on piano) • an elastic wire for ligation • lead material and / or floating material

[0016] This device is characterized in that it comprises a lead head (1)(4), said lead head comprising a rearward protrusion (4), and being made of at least one lead material and / or one floating material.

[0017] This device is characterized in that said barrel swivel (2) is separated from the lead head by a small tube of calculated size (3) allowing balancing between the lead head (1)(4) and the rest of the assembly comprising the length of the piano wires (5)(6) and the weight of the hooks (8). This allows a bait fish to be presented almost permanently in a horizontal position, whether moving or stationary, and prevents the phenomenon of spinning while moving.

[0018] This device is characterized in that the hook perpendicular to the loop of each triple hook (8) of which it is part is positioned on a horizontal plane symmetrically opposite that of the other triple hook towards the outside. The position of the two remaining hooks of each treble hook thus allows the body of a bait fish to be held.

[0019] This device is characterized in that said rigid external piano wires (5)(7) are made symmetrically, with the central piano wire (6) as the axis of symmetry, allowing the hooks to be fixed without knots.

[0020] This device is characterized in that said central piano wire comprises a final bend (10) being planted in the back of a bait fish, this being preceded by a bend (9) which prevents the elastic from sliding towards the tail of the bait fish.

[0021] This device is characterized in that lugs on the piano wire (7) at the hooks, the positioning of the hooks (8), the piano wires (5), the protrusion (4) at the rear of the leaded head into which the mouth of the bait fish is inserted, and the ligature which is held by a bend (9) 10 mm before the final bend of the central piano wire ensure total holding of a bait fish on the 3 axes.

[0022] This device is characterized in that the hooks are fixed without a knot allowing them to be exchanged in the event of deterioration (7).

[0023] This device is characterized in that a large number of baits can be used: • fresh fish killed or preserved by any other means allowing good preservation once placed • pieces, strips, tentacles of cephalopods • soft lures • fish skin Summary of the invention

[0024] The assembly consists of: • A jig head (1) with a tubular protrusion (4) towards the rear of the assembly. The protrusion is 10 mm or more long and has a diameter of 4 mm or more depending on the size of the baitfish to be mounted, this protrusion allowing the mouth of the baitfish to be engaged. The shape of the lead head (1) can take different forms depending on the more or less diving action that one wants to attribute to the lure, and its weight can vary according to needs (depth of the fishing area, current, size of the bait). The jig head can be made from a combination of several materials such as lead, tin, foam, wood, resin depending on whether you want to make more or less diving or even floating lures. Of 3 wires made of piano wire (5)(6) with a diameter that cannot tolerate much less than 40 / 100 mm in order to guarantee the rigidity of the assembly, the ideal remaining between 60 / 100 and 80 / 100 mm. The length of the outer piano wires (5) should be half the length of the bait fish. One end of the three wires assembled and crimped together is cast into the jig head so that the three wires are contiguous on a horizontal plane along their entire length before the hooks are set. This end penetrating into the lead head is located at the junction between the rear protrusion of the lead head and the rear of the top of the weighting part used to counterbalance the assembly. This is where the small metal tube (3) will be positioned. One or more small tubes (3) with a length of 0 to 5mm, the size and number may vary depending on the weight of the lead head and the weight of the rear part of the assembly consisting of the piano wires as well as the weight of the hooks. 0 being the number in case of no need to add a tube for balancing. The torque phenomenon generated by the weight and length of the piano wires associated with the weight of the hooks as well as the lift of the baitfish must be taken into account. This allows the assembly to be perfectly balanced, after calculating the balance point of the complete assembly. The 3 sections of piano wire will be threaded simultaneously into this tube, coming up against the lead head, allowing the swivel and the lead head to be spaced apart. The length of the tube and its number can vary depending on the weight of the jig head and the length of the assembly. From a barrel swivel (2), the 3 piano wire strands will be threaded simultaneously into one of its loops. This will be placed against the metal tube. The location of the swivel is the only articulated point of the assembly, it allows, in addition to participating in the balancing, to prevent the line of the rod from twisting. 2 treble hooks (8) which will be placed at the rear end of the assembly on the two outer piano wires following the casting of the 3 piano wires in the lead head, the placement of the metal tube and the swivel. The importance of the placement of these hooks is essential because the 4 parallel hooks allow the body of the bait fish to be held and the third perpendicular hook of each treble hook towards the outside makes it easier to hook the prey. In order to fix the treble hooks without any knots on the two outer piano wires (5) in the case of an assembly with piano wire with a diameter greater than or equal to 60 / 100 mm: In order to position the hooks at the desired distance from the jig head, the outer piano wires are bent. This bend is almost 180 degrees downwards to bring the bottom strand back almost to touch the top strand, leaving a 1 mm gap (gap which can vary depending on the thickness of the hook) between the two strands at the bend. This is where the hook will rest, which will hold it in place and prevent it from moving backwards. The end of the bend is half the length of the baitfish that will be used. Then an inward bend is applied to the end of the bent rear end comprising the two parts of the piano wire over a distance of 2 mm with an angle of 45 degrees. A second bend with a 45 degree angle is applied again inwards at the distance represented by the junction between the treble hooks and their loop. Then you have to pass the curved end of the two wires of the piano wire through the loop of the hook, so that you can pass the hook perpendicular to its loop. This will be inserted from the inside of the mount to the outside of the mount into the curved end. Once this is done, a new bend must be applied with an angle of 45° outwards to the piano wire which is above the loop and which will join the lead head. A bend on the free portion of piano wire, which is below the portion that joins the lead head, will then be applied to obtain a 90° angle inwards relative to the total piano wire. This portion of piano wire will be cut at a distance of 10 mm from the loop of the hook, this part having to penetrate the sides of the fish bait and preventing the hook from moving forward in the assembly and will complete the hold preventing the bait from rotating on itself. The hook is therefore held in such a way that no further movement can be allowed. This knotless assembly method allows for fairly easy hook exchange in the event of one of the teeth breaking or becoming too deformed. When using thinner piano wire, a complete revolution will be made above the loop of the hook, as this solution does not allow the hooks to be changed or weakens the piano wire. Lugs are left to enter the sides of the bait fish and hold the hooks in position. • The remaining central piano wire (6) is intended to help keep the bait firmly in place on its vertical axis and complements the lugs left at the hooks to prevent the bait from sliding backwards using its terminal part (10) curved at 90 degrees. A 2 mm rise before the bend (9) prevents the elastic ligature from slipping towards the tail of the fish or other bait. This piano wire also protects the bait from a "sausage" effect and reduces the risk of cutting the bait if the tying is too tight. The back bend of this piano wire should be 1 cm from the back of the hooks. This wire is offset above the other two so as to handle half the thickness of the baitfish compared to the lugs on the two outer piano wires supporting the hooks. • Once the hooks are in place and the central piano wire is shaped, the piano wires are bent so that: the hooks (8) are placed parallel to the horizontal alignment of the protrusion (4) at the rear of the jig head (1), the distance being able to vary depending on the height or distance between the bottom of the belly of the bait fish and its back. The spacing between the treble hooks should be equal to the horizontal thickness of the bait fish. The center piano wire should be shaped to follow the back of the bait fish. Brief description of the figures

[0025] The attached drawings are schematic and are intended to illustrate the principle of the invention.

[0026] [Fig. 1] represents the assembly seen from the left side.

[0027] [Fig.2] represents the assembly seen from above.

[0028] [Fig.3] shows the assembly seen from behind with the rear end tilted downwards by 45 degrees.

[0029] [Fig.4] shows the assembly seen from behind.

[0030] [Fig.5] represents the shaping of piano strings.

[0031] Marking common to figures [Fig.l], [Fig.2], [Fig.3], [Fig.4], [Fig.5]: • (1). Front part of the lead head: can take different shapes or be composed of different materials depending on the hydrodynamic effect that we want to give to the lure. • (2). Barrel swivel • (3). Metal tube allowing horizontal balancing of the assembly. • (4). Rear part of the lead head: protrusion at the rear of the head lead that is inserted into the fish's mouth when fixing. • (5).The 2 rigid outer piano wires formed symmetrically on to which the hooks are attached. • (6).Central piano wire to prevent the bait from sliding towards the back. It complements the lugs on the outer piano wires to prevent the baitfish from rotating on itself. It is also necessary to attach it with elastic thread to avoid the "sausage" effect. • (7). Method of fixing the hook allowing exchange in the event of deterioration of the latter, the 1 cm long lugs directed towards the center of the hook are driven into the sides of the bait fish, preventing it from rotating or sliding backwards. • (8). Treble hooks placed with the points towards the front of the rig shown by the lead head. The 2 adjacent hooks of each treble hook are placed perfectly parallel and symmetrical to 2 hooks of the other treble hook. The third hooks of each treble hook are completely opposite horizontally and must be those that are perpendicular to the loops of the treble hooks. • (9). Curved rear part of the central piano wire, located 1 cm from the rear end, it is essential to prevent the elastic ligature from sliding towards the rear of the assembly. • (10). Rear end of the central piano wire forming a 90° angle degrees downwards over a length of 1 cm which is pushed into the back of the fish, it prevents the bait from sliding towards the rear of the assembly. Description of the embodiments

[0032] The present invention is described with reference to specific examples, modifications may be made to these examples without departing from the general scope of the invention as defined in the claims, in particular the different embodiments presented may be combined.

[0033] The assembly steps: • Creation of the mold allowing the casting of the lead head (1)(4). • Cutting to the correct length of the 3 wires which make up the assembly (5)(6). • Crimping one end of the three wires using a metal tube so that they form a horizontal plane of three absolutely parallel glued wires. The ends that will have been left protruding, 2 mm larger than the size of the tube, will be completely bent over the metal tube. This step is essential so that the wires do not turn in the lead and do not come loose in the event of a large catch or snag. • Pouring the lead by embedding the crimped end with the first tube at the appropriate positions, i.e. at the intersection of the lead head and the protrusion. • Insert the 3 wires into a tube (3) and the swivel (2), bring the tube to the stop on the lead head and the swivel to the stop on the tube. • Modeling of the wires (5)(7)(6)(9)(10) before placing the treble hooks. • Positioning the treble hooks (8) at a good distance on the two outer wires so that two of the 3 hooks are parallel on the same plane with 2 hooks of the other treble hook. The third hook of each treble hook is positioned oppositely outward on a horizontal plane. • Shaping the wires to obtain the required shapes detailed in the summary of the invention (7).
