Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Unwinder for a joint tape packaged in a roll Technical field of the invention
[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of dispensers for jointing tape, said jointing tape being packaged in a roll. State of the art
[0002] A dry wall (for example a partition or a ceiling) is generally formed of panels (usually plasterboard) which are mounted on a wooden or metal frame.
[0003] To finalize this dry wall, joint strips are added to fill the spaces between the panels and to finish the angles (inward and outward).
[0004] Such joint tapes are usually packaged in rolls.
[0005] To facilitate installation, the plasterer generally uses a suitable tool, called a “joint tape dispenser”.
[0006] However, in practice, joint tape dispensers are not always ergonomic. Presentation of the invention
[0007] In order to overcome the aforementioned drawback of the state of the art, the present invention proposes a dispenser for jointing tape, said jointing tape being packaged in a roll.
[0008] This unwinder comprises a support which includes:
[0009] - a shaft, for receiving said roller by fitting, which shaft comprises two side ends,
[0010] - at least one guide slot, for guiding said unrolled joint strip from said roll,
[0011] - hanging means, adapted to hang said unwinder on a clothing item mental.
[0012] The unwinder comprises stop means cooperating with at least one of the lateral ends of said shaft, manually maneuverable between two configurations, namely:
[0013] - an open configuration, wherein said at least one lateral end of said shaft is free relative to said stop means, for the installation and removal of said roller, and
[0014] - a closed configuration, wherein said at least one lateral end of said shaft is blocked by said stop means, for the lateral maintenance of said roller.
[0015] Such a dispenser according to the invention constitutes an accessory intended for plasterers in order to facilitate the installation of joint strips.
[0016] Thanks to this unwinder, such a jointing tape, usually packaged in a roll, can be carried by the operator (for example on the belt) and be advantageously unwound upwards or downwards according to the user's preference.
[0017] Other non-limiting and advantageous characteristics of the product according to the invention, taken individually or in all technically possible combinations, are the following:
[0018] - said support has an elongated shape ending in two long ends tudinal; said shaft is implanted between said longitudinal ends;
[0019] - at least one of said longitudinal ends, preferably each of said longitudinal ends, comprises said guide slot.
[0020] According to a preferred embodiment, said support comprises an assembly of at least two parts:
[0021] - a first part which is connected to a first lateral end of said shaft and which comprises said at least one slot, and
[0022] - a second part which is movable relative to said first part and which is intended to cooperate with a second lateral end of said shaft to form the stop means.
[0023] The second part is mobile, advantageously in rotation, between two configurations:
[0024] - said open configuration, in which said second part is spaced from said second lateral end of said shaft, free, and
[0025] - a closed configuration, in which said second part cooperates with said second lateral end of said shaft.
[0026] Preferably, said first part comprises a plate carrying:
[0027] - said tree, and
[0028] - two terminal branches comprising said at least one guide slot.
[0029] And said second, movable part consists of a plate cooperating with said shaft and said two terminal branches.
[0030] More preferably, said parts comprise rotational guide means, for example:
[0031] - a hook equipping the first part, and
[0032] - a complementary orifice, made in the second part,
[0033] advantageously arranged at a first longitudinal end.
[0034] Preferably, said parts comprise means of assembly by a rotational movement, for example at least one complementary lug / slot pair, advantageously arranged at a second longitudinal end and / or said TREE.
[0035] Also according to a particular embodiment, the stop means comprise locking means in the closed configuration, advantageously assembly means by elastic deformation.
[0036] Preferably, the elastic deformation assembly means comprise at least one pair comprising a stop and an elastic tab.
[0037] More preferably, the elastic deformation assembly means are arranged at the level of said shaft.
[0038] Generally, the attachment means comprise a tab adapted for attachment of said dispenser to a clothing item of the belt type.
[0039] Of course, the various features, variants and embodiments of the invention may be combined with each other in various combinations to the extent that they are not incompatible or mutually exclusive. Detailed description of the invention
[0040] Furthermore, various other characteristics of the invention emerge from the appended description given with reference to the drawings which illustrate non-limiting forms of embodiment of the invention and where:
[0041] [Fig. 1] is a general and perspective view of a dispenser for jointing tape, according to the invention, in closed configuration;
[0042] [Fig.2] is a general and front view of the dispenser for jointing tape, according to [Fig.l];
[0043] [Fig.3] is a general and side view of the dispenser for jointing tape, according to [Fig.l], in open configuration;
[0044] [Fig.4] is a general and perspective view of the joint tape dispenser according to [Fig.l], in closed configuration and equipped with a roll of joint tape.
[0045] It should be noted that, in these figures, the structural and / or functional elements common to the different variants may have the same references.
[0046] The present invention thus relates to a dispenser 1 for jointing tape B, a tool advantageously intended for plasterers.
[0047] A joint strip B is schematically illustrated in [Fig.4].
[0048] Such a joint strip B, in a conventional manner in itself, is intended to be added to fill the spaces between panels and to finish the corners.
[0049] By "jointing tape" we mean, for example, jointing tapes of the cardboard, paper, reinforced or even self-adhesive fiber type.
[0050] Such a jointing strip B is packaged in a roll R. For this, preferably, the jointing strip B is wound onto a tube T which is advantageously made of cardboard.
[0051] According to the invention, the unwinder 1 comprises a support 2 which comprises:
[0052] - a shaft 3, to receive the roller R by fitting,
[0053] - at least one guide slot 4, for guiding the joint strip B unrolled from the roll R, and
[0054] - hanging means 5, adapted to hang this unwinder 1 on a clothing item operator's manual (for example a tab suitable for attachment to an item of clothing such as a belt).
[0055] According to the invention, the unwinder 1 also comprises stop means 7 cooperating with at least one of the lateral ends 31 of the shaft 3, for the removable lateral locking of the roller R on this shaft 3. Support
[0056] The support 2 advantageously has an elongated shape, advantageously the general shape of a rectangular frame.
[0057] This support 2 advantageously defines a general plane 2', intended to advantageously extend vertically when laying a joint strip B.
[0058] This support 2 is advantageously terminated by two longitudinal ends 21, advantageously forming two small sides of the rectangular frame (defining its width).
[0059] This support 2 also advantageously comprises two large sides 22, advantageously forming two large sides of the rectangular frame (defining its length).
[0060] In this case, the shaft 3 and said at least one guide slot 4 are aligned along the length of the general plane 2' (and along the length of the long sides 22). TREE
[0061] The shaft 3 has two lateral ends 31, defining its width.
[0062] These lateral ends 31 are advantageously located at the level of the large sides 22 of the support 2.
[0063] This shaft 3 here comprises an H-shaped section, with two transverse strips 32 intended to cooperate with the tube T. These transverse strips 32 here extend perpendicularly relative to the general plane 2' of the support 2.
[0064] In this case, the shaft 3 advantageously extends in the general plane 2'.
[0065] Preferably, the shaft 3 is located between the longitudinal ends 21 of the support 2, advantageously halfway between these longitudinal ends 21 (in other words, halfway along the length of the long sides 22 of the support 2). Slot
[0066] A guide slot 4 is advantageously delimited by two arms 41, parallel to each other.
[0067] A guide slot 4 advantageously extends parallel to the shaft 3 and in the general plane 2' of the support 2.
[0068] In other words, a guide slot 4 advantageously opens out on either side of the general plane 2'.
[0069] In this case, preferably, at least one of the longitudinal ends 21, preferably each of the longitudinal ends 21, comprises such a guide slot 4.
[0070] The presence of two guide slots 4, on either side of the shaft 3, is advantageous in allowing a choice of unwinding, advantageously upwards or downwards depending on the user's preference. Stop means
[0071] The stop means 7 can be manually operated between two configurations, namely:
[0072] - an open configuration ([Fig.3]), in which at least one lateral end 31b of the shaft 3 is free relative to the stop means 7, allowing the roller R to be placed and removed from this free lateral end 31b, and
[0073] - a closed configuration (figures 1 and 2), in which this lateral end 31b of the shaft 3 is blocked by the stop means 7, for the lateral maintenance of the roller R on this shaft 3 ([Fig.4]).
[0074] As developed subsequently, the stop means 7 advantageously comprise locking means 8 in the closed configuration, advantageously assembly means by elastic deformation, which can be operated manually. Preferred embodiment
[0075] According to a preferred embodiment, illustrated in Figures 1 to 4, the support 2 advantageously comprises an assembly of at least two parts:
[0076] - a first part 2a which is connected to a first lateral end 31a of the shaft 3 and which comprises said at least one guide slot 4, and
[0077] - a second part 2b which is movable relative to this first part 2a and which is intended to cooperate with a second lateral end 31b of the shaft 3 to form the stop means 7.
[0078] Preferably, each part 2a, 2b of the support 2 is advantageously made in one piece, in a plastic material (for example ABS or PA), for example manufactured by injection molding.
[0079] The second part 2b is thus mobile between two configurations:
[0080] - the open configuration ([Fig.3]), in which this second part 2b is moved apart of the second lateral end 31b of the shaft 3, free, and
[0081] - the closed configuration (figures 1 and 2 in particular), in which the second part 2b forms a stop at the level of the second lateral end 31b of the shaft 3.
[0082] In this case, the first part 2a comprises a plate 2al (advantageously presenting- (usually a rectangular outline) bearing:
[0083] - tree 3, and
[0084] - two terminal branches 2a2, forming the longitudinal ends 21 and comprising said at least one guide slot 4.
[0085] The shaft 3 and the two terminal branches 2a2 extend from the plate 2al, on the same side of this plate 2a 1, here forming a general E shape.
[0086] The second part 2b, movable, advantageously consists of a plate cooperating with the shaft 3 and the two terminal branches 2a2.
[0087] This second part 2b advantageously has a rectangular outline, similar to the plate 2a 1 of the first part 2a.
[0088] In the closed configuration, the second part 2b and the plate 2al of the first part 2a advantageously extend perpendicular to the general plane 2' and advantageously parallel to each other.
[0089] The second part 2b is advantageously movable in rotation, preferably around an axis of rotation passing through the general plane 2', and more preferably passing through a first longitudinal end 21 of the support 2 (here by a first terminal branch 2a21).
[0090] The parts 2a, 2b advantageously comprise rotational guide means 9, for example:
[0091] - a hook 91, equipping the first part 2a, preferably at the end of a first terminal branch 2a21, and
[0092] - a complementary and through orifice 92, provided in the second part 2b.
[0093] Preferably, these rotational guide means 9 are thus advantageously arranged at a first longitudinal end 21 of the support 2.
[0094] Still preferably, the second part 2b is advantageously removable relative to the first part 2a.
[0095] For this, the hook 91 advantageously has an elongated shape, for example perpendicular to the general plane 2'. And the orifice 92 also has an elongated shape, extending in the general plane 2' in the closed configuration, and whose section is greater than the hook 91.
[0096] A separation between the parts 2a, 2b can be achieved by a relative maneuver at 90°.
[0097] To optimize the closed configuration and to optimize the guidance, the parts 2a, 2b advantageously comprise assembly means 10 by a rotational movement.
[0098] For example, these assembly means 10 comprise at least one complementary lug 101 / slot 102 pair.
[0099] Preferably, these assembly means 10 are advantageously arranged at level of a second longitudinal end 21 of the support 2 and / or of the shaft 3.
[0100] More preferably, the lug 101 is advantageously carried by the first part 2a, advantageously by a second terminal branch 2a22 and / or by the second lateral end 31 of the shaft 3.
[0101] The complementary slot 102, advantageously V-shaped, is advantageously carried by the second part 2b, opening laterally.
[0102] The locking means 8 in the closed configuration, advantageously elastic deformation assembly means 8, are activated automatically during the maneuver from the open configuration to the closed configuration.
[0103] In this case, preferably, the elastic deformation assembly means 8 comprise at least one pair comprising a stop 81 and an elastic tab 82.
[0104] The elastic tab 82 is thus intended to be assembled automatically with the stop 81, by an elastic deformation movement.
[0105] The elastic tab 82 advantageously comprises a gripping portion 821, for moving the elastic tab 82 away from the stop 81 so as to allow maneuvering from the closed configuration to the open configuration.
[0106] Preferably, the elastic tab 82 is part of the second part 2b; and the stop 81 is part of the first part 2a.
[0107] More preferably, the elastic deformation assembly means 8 are arranged at the level of the shaft 3.
[0108] In this case, the stop 81 is here formed by the second lateral end 31b of the shaft 3.
[0109] Furthermore, preferably, the tab 5, forming the attachment means 5, is adapted for attachment of the dispenser 1 to a clothing item of the belt type.
[0110] For this, the tab 5 is here carried by the first part 2a and preferably still by its plate 2al (opposite the first terminal branch 2a21).
[0111] This tab 5 then defines a light extending perpendicularly to the general plane 2' of the support 2. Implementation
[0112] In practice, the unwinder 1 is operated in the open configuration, from a closed configuration, for the placement and removal of a roll R (in a clockwise direction in the figures).
[0113] This maneuver is obtained here by a relative rotational movement between the two parts 2a, 2b of the support 2.
[0114] To facilitate installation / removal, the second part 2b can here be temporarily removed relative to the first part 2a.
[0115] A first lateral end 31a of the shaft 3 being free, it is possible to place / deposit a roller R on this shaft 3 (from this second lateral end 31b).
[0116] Once the roller R is in place on the shaft 3, the unwinder 1 is operated in the closed configuration.
[0117] Here again, this maneuver is obtained by a relative rotational movement between the two parts 2a, 2b of the support 2 (in an anti-clockwise direction in the figures).
[0118] This maneuver is continued here until the elastic deformation assembly means 8 are activated.
[0119] During this rotation, the assembly means 10 are also implemented to optimize the support.
[0120] In this closed configuration, the second lateral end 31b of the shaft 3 is blocked by the stop means 7.
[0121] In other words, the lateral ends 31 of the shaft 3 are here sandwiched between the second part 2b and the plate 2a 1 of the first part 2a.
[0122] The roller R is thus held on the shaft 3, laterally, while allowing its rotational movement around this shaft 3.
[0123] The free strand of the jointing strip B is unwound from the roller R, then introduced through a guide slot 4.
[0124] The plasterer can then carry the unroller 1, for example at the level of his belt thanks to the attachment means 5. The plasterer thus has his hands free to carry out the installation of the joint tape B.
[0125] Of course, various other modifications may be made to the invention within the scope of the appended claims.
