Abstract
Description
Description Title of the invention: Sliding ashtray technical field The present invention relates to the field of ashtrays. It relates more particularly to the field of portable ashtrays, that is to say ashtrays that the smoker can carry with him. STATE OF THE ART There are several solutions for collecting cigarette butts and ashes while waiting to be able to throw them in a bin provided for this purpose. Portable ashtrays with resealable lids are particularly well-known, allowing for an airtight seal of cigarette butts and ashes. Since these ashtrays are designed to be carried in a pocket or bag, it is essential to prevent any odor from escaping or the ashtray from tipping over. However, these ashtrays have the drawback of sometimes being forgotten because they are not functionally attached to the cigarette pack. To overcome this problem, technical solutions exist, such as document FR2835400A 1, which presents a cigarette pack case that can serve as an ashtray. By sliding the pack out of the case, a cavity is created, forming an ashtray accessible via a flap opening that allows cigarette butts to pass through. In practice, this solution proves complex and often leads to cigarette butts and ash spilling into the pocket or bag containing the pack. Furthermore, even if no spillage occurs, the pocket or bag containing the pack quickly becomes permeated with the smell of stale tobacco. One object of the present invention is therefore to propose a solution that reduces or even eliminates the disadvantages of existing solutions. The other objects, features, and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from an examination of the following description and accompanying drawings. It is understood that other advantages may be incorporated. SUMMARY To achieve this objective, according to one embodiment, a container is provided for receiving cigarette butts and configured to slide with a pack of cigarettes. The container is characterized in that it comprises a body having a bottom wall and a side wall extending from the bottom wall to form a collection volume configured to hold a plurality of cigarette butts. the side wall forms an inner face turned towards the inside of the container, the inner face having a first and a second longitudinal face facing each other as well as a first and a second transverse face facing each other, the side wall having a top edge forming a contour defining an opening shaped to manually insert a cigarette butt into the container. The body has two grooves carried respectively by the first and second longitudinal faces and shaped to allow a sliding insertion of a bottom face of a cigarette pack. The first transverse face has a smaller height, measured vertically from the back wall, than the first and second longitudinal faces, so that one end of the two grooves is located above the first transverse face and is accessible to allow the bottom face of the cigarette pack to be slid into place. The second transverse face forms a stop configured to limit the sliding of the bottom face of the cigarette pack. According to one example, the body has a free space between the second transverse face and a second end of the two grooves, the second end being opposite the first end, the free space having a space length Lr greater than or equal to 0.7 mm (10 meters), Lr being measured in the principal extension direction of each of the grooves. This free space allows for the decompression of the portion of the cigarette pack that protrudes from the groove and enters the free space. This portion of the pack then unfolds outside the groove. It then rubs against or bumps against the edge of the groove when force is applied to slide the pack towards the first transverse face to detach it from the container. Thus, the risk of the pack sliding unintentionally relative to the container is considerably reduced. This unintentional sliding occurs, for example, when the pack and its container move in a pocket or bag. By preventing such sliding, the invention prevents the containment volume from communicating with the outside, which would cause the release of odors, ashes, or cold cigarette butts. This also prevents ashes or cigarette butts from unintentionally falling out of the container. Naturally, manual effort applied intentionally by the user to slide the container relative to the pack to separate the two elements remains possible. The friction or retention force exerted by the portion of the cigarette pack extended beyond the second end of the groove remains significantly less than the force the user can apply. In one example, the container includes support elements arranged respec- positioned above the two grooves and turned towards the inside of the container, the two support elements include pinching portions configured to pinch and hold the cigarette pack in position against the container. According to another example, the container includes two support elements carried respectively by the first portion of the wall and the second portion of the wall, the support elements being configured to exert a pressure force simultaneously on two opposite faces of the cigarette pack in a locking configuration or in a sliding configuration so as to cause a deformation of the opposite faces of the cigarette pack. According to one example, the container comprises two support elements arranged respectively above the two grooves and turned towards the inside of the container, the two support elements being configured to clamp and hold the cigarette pack in position against the container in a vertical direction, the support elements comprise pinch portions located at a support height hs; from the lower end of the groove in a vertical direction, and at a support distance e:s1 from the external longitudinal faces of the body, in a horizontal direction when the container is arranged horizontally, the support height hs; being greater than or equal to 0.7 mm (107 meters), and the support distance e51, being greater than or equal to 0.8 * E103, WITH 103 the thickness of the side wall. This guides the cigarette pack into the groove while preventing it from being dislodged vertically. The support height, e;s1, is such that it pinches the corner of the pack. Without the present invention, it would be necessary to prevent the package from detaching, for example, by positioning a stop above the flap. The present invention thus makes it possible to utilize the variations in the package's deformation capacity depending on the area. Indeed, due to the folding, the corners of the package are more rigid areas. Conversely, the faces of the package, due to the thickness of the cardboard used, exhibit a much greater capacity for bending. The present invention therefore allows the more rigid areas to be wedged within the grooves or free spaces. Another aspect concerns a set comprising a pack of cigarettes and a container. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES The aims, objects, features and advantages of the invention will become clearer from the detailed description of an embodiment thereof, which is illustrated by the following accompanying drawings in which: [Fig.1] Fig.1 represents an example of a set comprising a pack of cigarettes inserted into an example of a container. They constitute schematic representations of principle intended to facilitate understanding of the invention and are not necessarily to scale with practical applications. DETAILED DESCRIPTION Before proceeding with a detailed review of embodiments of the invention, optional features that may be used in combination or alternatively are listed below: According to one example, the pinch portions are located at a bearing height h151 from the lower end of the groove in a vertical direction, and at a bearing distance e1Sla from the external longitudinal faces of the body, the external longitudinal faces of the body being opposite the longitudinal faces, in a horizontal direction when the container is arranged horizontally, the bearing height h151 being greater than or equal to 0.7 mm (10-3 meters), and the bearing distance e15la being greater than or equal to 0.8 * e103, with e103 the thickness of the side wall taken at the level of the longitudinal walls. The pinching portions are in contact with the cigarette pack when the latter is at least partially engaged in the two grooves and is held in position against the container in a vertical direction. According to one example, the container includes chamfered portions at the first ends of the groove. This helps to guide the pack and therefore makes it easier to insert the cigarette pack into the groove. According to one example, the container includes reinforced areas at the four corners of the collection volume extending from the bottom wall to one end of the first transverse wall so as to enlarge the contour area between the container and the cigarette pack. This reinforces the airtight seal of the collection container. As a result, any odors that might emanate from the cigarette butts are contained between the container and the bottom of the pack and cannot escape. The system, in its assembled configuration—that is, the pack attached to the container holding the cigarette butts—can then be easily carried in a bag or pocket, for example. Advantageously, these reinforced areas allow for structural reinforcement of the container in order to facilitate its removal from the mold in an injection process. According to one example, the longitudinal faces are essentially parallel to each other. According to one example, the transverse faces are approximately parallel to each other. In one example, the longitudinal faces are perpendicular to the transverse faces. According to one example, the container has a shell with a rectangular parallelepiped shape. In one example, the bottom wall and the longitudinal and transverse faces are solid. This helps to ensure the airtight function of the device. According to one example, the longitudinal wall extends vertically between the bottom wall and the two grooves when the bottom wall of the container is positioned horizontally. According to one example, the stops formed by the second transverse faces are located in the extension of the grooves. According to an example, the height h;s; along the Y direction is less than 10 mm, preferably less than 5 mm, preferably less than 3 mm. In one example, the height of the groove is greater than 0.7 mm in the Y direction. In one example, the height of the groove is less than 2.5 mm in the V direction. According to one example, the distance between the two support elements 151 is strictly less than 22 mm, preferably less than 21 mm, preferably equal to 20.6 mm. In one example, the thickness of the side wall is regular and equal to 2 mm in a horizontal direction. In one example, the distance between the two groove bottoms is 22.6 mm along the Z direction. In another example, the container is configured so that when the package is slid into the grooves and the sliding is stopped by the stop face of the second transverse wall, a portion of the package bottom penetrates in free space. According to one example, the portion of the bottom of the package that enters the free space extends beyond the second end of the groove and opposes a sliding of the package in a direction tending to separate the container from the package. According to one example, the container includes pinch portions arranged above the two grooves and turned towards the inside of the container, the pinch portions being configured to pinch and hold in position the side faces of the package. According to one example, the pinch portions are configured to be in contact with the side faces of the package over a height Hc of less than 0.7 mm, preferably less than 0.5 mm, the height Hc being measured along the vertical. Thus, the contact area is very limited. The deformation of the cigarette pack is localized. This strengthens the seal at the pinch point. This reduces or even eliminates the escape of stale tobacco odors from inside the container to the outside. For example, the pinch portions are configured to pinch the side faces of the package to a deformation height Hd of less than 5 mm, preferably less than 3 mm, preferably less than or equal to 2.5 mm, the deformation height Hd being measured along the vertical Y direction. This helps to reduce deformation of the pack and further improve the sealing of the cigarette butt collection volume. It is specified that in the context of the present invention, a cigarette butt is understood to mean a used cigarette filter. A cigarette butt is understood to be the unconsumed remains of a cigarette, including the filter and possibly some tobacco. Since a cigarette filter can generally measure from 20 to 30 mm, we will understand that a cigarette butt has a dimension of at least 20 mm in length along its main direction of extension. It should be noted that the relative characteristics stated above, in particular those relating to the flexibility of the wall of the cigarette pack such as its ability to be deformed in a certain area relative to the area of rigidity. It is specified that, within the framework of the present invention, the terms "on", "overcomes", "covers", "underlying", "opposite" and their equivalents do not necessarily mean "in contact with". In the description that follows, unless otherwise indicated, when referring to absolute positional qualifiers, such as "front", "back", "top", "bottom", "left", "right", etc., or relative positional qualifiers, such as "above", "below", "superior", "inferior", etc., or to orientational qualifiers, such as "ho- "Horizontal", "vertical", "lateral", etc., refers to the orientation of the corresponding figures, it being understood that, in practice, the devices and assemblies described may be oriented differently. Conversely, thickness is measured horizontally in areas that extend primarily vertically, such as lateral portions. Thus, the thickness of spacers covering the vertical sides of a grid or grid pattern will be measured horizontally in the figures. The terms "approximately," "about," and "on the order of" mean "to within 10%, preferably to within 5%," or, when referring to angular orientation, "to within 10°." Thus, a direction approximately normal to a plane means a direction at an angle of 90 + 10° to the plane. In this patent application, the term mobile corresponds to a rotational movement or a translational movement or a combination of movements, for example the combination of a rotation and a translation. A single, monobloc part cannot therefore be made up of two separate parts. In this patent application, the term "fixed" used to describe the connection between two parts means that the two parts are bound / fixed to each other in all degrees of freedom, unless explicitly stated otherwise. For example, if it is stated that two parts are fixed in translation along a direction X, this means that the parts can be moved relative to each other except along the direction X. In other words, if one part is moved along the direction X, the other part moves in the same direction. In the detailed description that follows, terms such as "horizontal," "vertical," "longitudinal," "transverse," "upper," "lower," "top," "bottom," "front," "rear," "inside," and "outside" may be used. These terms should be interpreted relatively in relation to the normal position of the container and cigarette pack assembly and the normal direction of movement of the user of the assembly. For example, the terms "horizontal" and "longitudinal" correspond to the main direction of extension of the groove. We will also use a reference frame whose longitudinal or back / front direction corresponds to the X axis, the transverse or right / left direction corresponds to the Z axis and the vertical or bottom / up direction corresponds to the Y axis. The present invention allows in particular the maintenance in position of a hermetically sealed container 1 relative to the bottom face 21c of a pack of cigarettes 2. According to a preferred embodiment, the present invention relates to an assembly comprising a container and a pack of cigarettes. Cigarette packs often have the same dimensions, particularly at their bases. Naturally, These dimensions vary depending on manufacturing inaccuracies. The dimensions of a cigarette pack, when the flap 22 is closed, are between 125 mm and 85 mm in height, 82 mm and 55 mm in width, and 42 mm and 20 mm in thickness; preferably, the dimensions of the cigarette pack are as follows: height = 88 mm, width 55 mm, thickness = 22 mm. Pack 2, being hollow and designed to hold cigarettes, comprises a base 21 and a flap 22. Pack 2 is configured so that its base moves in a linear fashion with the container 1. As illustrated in [Fig.1] and according to an example, container 1 is configured to be placed below pack of cigarettes 2. In fact, ashes and / or cigarette butts 3 can be stored inside container 1 under the pack of cigarettes 2. The container 1 and the pack of cigarettes 2 thus form an airtight unit preventing the diffusion of odor or the spillage of ashes into a bag or pocket in which they might be stored. Preferably, the container 1 is configured to allow the insertion of a pack of cigarettes 2 into the upper portion of the container 1 in a horizontal direction, preferably along a sliding direction (Xt; -Xt). As illustrated in [Fig. 2] and according to the same example, the movement of the cigarette pack 2 relative to the container 1 occurs along grooves 152 in the container, thus generating a visible opening 100a. This opening 100a allows for the manual insertion of ashes and / or cigarette butts. As illustrated in [Fig. 3] and by way of example, the container 1 comprises a side wall 11, preferably solid. Preferably, the side wall 11 extends between a bottom wall | 1c and two grooves 152. Preferably, the container | has the shape of a hollow rectangular parallelepiped. The side wall 11 comprises a first transverse wall 101, a second transverse wall 102, and two longitudinal walls 103. According to one example, the first side wall 103 has: an external longitudinal face 10a facing outwards from the container; a first internal longitudinal face 111a facing inwards container 1. According to one example, the second longitudinal wall 103 has: an external longitudinal face 10a turned outwards from the container; a second internal longitudinal face 111b facing inwards container 1. According to one example, the first transverse wall 101 has: an external transverse face 10b facing outwards from the container; a first transverse face 11la turned towards the inside of the container 1. According to one example, the second transverse wall 102 has: an external transverse face 10b facing outwards from the container 1; a second transverse face 113a turned towards the inside of the container 1. The longitudinal faces 111a, 112a are preferably substantially parallel to each other. Preferably, the transverse faces 113a, 114a are substantially parallel to each other. According to one example, the longitudinal faces 111a, 112a are perpendicular to the transverse faces 113a, 114a. Preferably, the second transverse face 113a forms a stop to limit the sliding of the bottom face 21c of the cigarette pack 2. The first transverse face 114a having a smaller height, measured vertically from the bottom wall 11c, than the internal longitudinal faces 11a, 112a so that a first end 152a of the two grooves 152 is located above the first transverse face 114a and is accessible to allow the insertion of the bottom face 21c of the cigarette pack 2. The second transverse face 113a forming a stop to limit the sliding of the bottom face 21c of the cigarette pack 2. According to an example, the thicknesses of the longitudinal walls 103 and / or the first transverse wall 101 and / or the second transverse wall 102 are constant. As illustrated in [Fig.4] and by example, the body 10 advantageously includes a collection volume 100. The collection volume 100 is alternatively brought to be closed by the bottom face of the pack 21c according to the position of the cigarette pack 2, along the grooves 152. Advantageously, the first transverse wall 101 faces the second transverse wall 102. The first transverse wall 101 and the second transverse wall 102 are connected by two longitudinal walls 103. Preferably, the transverse walls 101, 102 and longitudinal wall 103 form the lateral wall 11. The lateral wall 11, together with a bottom wall 11c, delimits the collection volume 10. The lateral wall 11 extends primarily vertically. The transverse walls 101, 102 and longitudinal wall 103 are vertical or substantially vertical. They may form a slight angle with respect to the vertical. According to one example, the container 1 includes reinforced zones 12 at the four corners of its collection volume 100. Preferably, these reinforced zones 12 contribute to the rigidity of the container 1. Advantageously, the reinforced zones 12 extend from the bottom wall 11c to one end 2, the first transverse 114a, so as to define a support surface 12a substantially parallel to the bottom wall 11c. The support surface 12a is preferably configured to promote and facilitate the sliding of the bottom face of the package 21c when the assembly is in a sliding configuration. Furthermore, the support surface 12a allows for a wider planar contact area between the container 1 and the package 2 in order to improve the sealing of the collection volume 100 in a closed configuration of the set (as illustrated in [Fig.1). As illustrated in [Fig. 5A] and by way of example, the cigarette pack 2 is positioned above the container 1 in the closed configuration. Alternatively, and as illustrated in the example in [Fig. 2], the assembly can be in an open or semi-open configuration when the pack is offset relative to the container 1 so as to allow access for selectively emptying or filling the container 1 through the opening 100a. As illustrated in [Fig.5B] to 5D and according to an example preferred by the present invention, the package 2 is positioned in the grooves 152 so that the bottom face of the package 21 is in contact with a support plane 152c located at the lower end of the grooves 152. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the container 1 comprises support elements 151 arranged respectively above the two grooves 152 and facing inwards towards the container 1, the two support elements 151 being configured to clamp and hold the cigarette pack 2 in position against the container 1 in a vertical direction Y, the support elements comprise pinching portions 151a located at a support height hys; from the lower end of the groove 152 in a vertical direction, and at a support distance es. from the external longitudinal faces 10a of the body 10, in a horizontal direction when the container 1 is arranged horizontally, the support height h151 being greater than or equal to 0.7 mm (10° meters), and the support distance es1, being greater than or equal to 0.8 * €,o,avece,0; the thickness of the longitudinal wall 103. Preferably e;s, = 2 mm. Preferably e€,0:= 2,Imm. Preferably h;s,=2.5 mm. The support elements 151 may include profiled portions whose cross-section has a pointed end, such as a dovetail joint. Thus, a stiffness zone 24 of the package 2 located in a lower corner of the package is advantageously positioned inside the grooves 152. In a preferred embodiment, the container 1 includes a support element 151 extending along a principal direction of extension substantially parallel to the principal direction of extension of the grooves 152. The support element 151 preferably includes a pinching portion 151a located above the groove 152 and configured to deform the side faces 21b of the package in order to allow the package 2 to be wedged relative to the containers 1 and to ensure its retention in position relative to the container 1 in a substantially vertical direction. In one example, the groove 152 extends between a first end 152a and a second end 152b, the first end 152a being on the side of the first transverse wall 101 and the second end 152b being on the side of the second transverse wall 102. According to one embodiment, the body 10 includes chamfered portions 13 at the first ends 152a of the grooves 152. Each chamfered portion 13 forms a wider portion as one approaches the first ends of the grooves 152. According to a particular embodiment, the container 1 comprises exactly two support elements 151 carried respectively by the first longitudinal wall 103 and the second longitudinal wall 103, the support elements 151 being configured to exert a pressure force simultaneously on two opposite faces 21b of the cigarette pack in a locking configuration or in a sliding configuration so as to cause a deformation of the opposite faces of the cigarette pack. As illustrated in [Fig. 5C] and according to an embodiment preferred by the present invention, the container 1 comprises a free space 14, between the second transverse face 113a and a second end 152b of the two grooves 152, the second end 152b being opposite the first end 152a, the free space 14 having a space length Lr greater than or equal to 0.7 mm (10-3 meters), Lr being measured in the principal extension direction Xt of each of the grooves 152. Preferably, the free space 14 having a space length Lr less than or equal to 2mm. According to one example, the free space 14 continues inside the longitudinal wall 11 beyond a bottom of the groove 152. Thus, the width of the free space 14, taken in the horizontal plane and in a direction perpendicular to the grooves 152, is greater than the depth of the grooves 152 taken in the same direction. Preferably, the free space 14 passes through the lateral wall 11. Preferably, the free space 14 passes through the longitudinal wall 103. Thus the free space 14 forms a space opening outside the container 1. This further promotes the decompression of the portion of the cigarette pack 2 that comes out of the groove and enters the free space 14. This in particular further strengthens the attachment of the container 1 to this pack of cigarettes 2. Finally, this reduces the risk or at least prevents any unintentional detachment that could cause a release of odors, cigarette butts or ashes. According to an example, container 1 is a single piece, preferably made of a single material, preferably plastic, preferably it will be a piece obtained from an injection molding process. As illustrated in [Fig. 5D] and according to a preferred embodiment, the cigarette pack 2 rests on the support plane 152c so that the rigidity zone 24 is inside the groove 152. According to this example, the support element 151 is in contact with the front face of the pack 121a so as to cause its deformation and allow it to be wedged relative to the container 1. Indeed, the rigidity zone 24 is, in this sliding configuration, held in the vertical direction by the support element 151 having a pinch thickness es, measured in a transverse direction Z. Preferably, a cigarette pack 2 comprises a front face 21a, two side faces 21b and a bottom face 21c, the faces being respectively orthogonal to each other. These faces advantageously having a thickness H”, between 0.5 and 1 mm, preferably approximately equal to 0.7 mm. The invention is not limited to the embodiments described above and extends to all embodiments covered by the claims. Numerical References 1. container 10. Body 100.
