Abstract

Gantry for access control of cars and trucks. The present invention relates to a gantry (1) for selecting the type of vehicle authorized to access a particular zone Z, notable in that it comprises at least: - a central structure (2) anchored in the ground, - a closing stop post (3), and an opening stop post (4), the latter being vertical, arranged on either side of the central structure (2), and configured to be anchored in the ground, - a lower (5) or upper (6) beam mounted for horizontal translation on said central structure (2) between an "extended" position in which one of its ends bears against the closing stop post (3), and a "retracted" position in which the other of its ends bears against the opening stop post (4), and - motorized translation means associated with each lower (5) or upper (6) beam. Claims

1. Gantry (1) for prohibiting access to a particular zone Z and / or selecting the type of vehicles capable of accessing said particular zone Z, characterized in that it comprises at least: - a middle structure (2) arranged to be anchored in the ground, - a closing stop post (3), and an opening stop post (4), the latter being vertical, arranged on either side of the middle structure (2), and arranged to be anchored in the ground, - a lower (5) and / or upper (6) beam mounted to move in horizontal translation on said middle structure (2) between an "extended" position in which one of its ends comes to bear against the closing stop post (3), and a "retracted" position in which the other of its ends comes to bear against the opening stop post (4), and - motorized translation means (27) associated with each lower (5) or upper (6) beam.

2. Gantry (1) according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises at least one lower beam (5) and one upper beam (6), the latter being superimposed and each mounted mobile in horizontal translation on said median structure (2) between said "extended" position and said "retracted" position.

3. Gantry (1) according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises a portal and an upper beam (6), the latter being superimposed and each mounted mobile in horizontal translation on said median structure (2) between said "extended" position and said "retracted" position.

4. Gantry (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the middle structure (2) is of generally parallelepiped shape and comprises two assemblies each comprising two vertical posts (7, 8) hereinafter called outer post (7) and inner post (8), and connected to each other by two horizontal transverse crosspieces (9, 10), hereinafter called lower transverse crosspiece (9) and upper transverse crosspiece (10), the outer posts (7) of said two assemblies being connected to each other by two outer longitudinal crosspieces (11, 12), hereinafter called lower outer longitudinal crosspiece (11) and upper outer longitudinal crosspiece (12), and the inner posts (8) of said two assemblies being connected to each other by two inner longitudinal crosspieces (13, 14), hereinafter called lower internal longitudinal cross member (13) and upper internal longitudinal cross member (14).

5. Gantry (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 4 characterized in that the closing stop upright (3) comprises two vertical posts (15, 16) hereinafter called outer post (15) and inner post (16), and connected to each other by two horizontal transverse crosspieces (17, 18), hereinafter called lower transverse crosspiece (17) and upper transverse crosspiece (18), and two supports (19) being in the form of an angle iron and fixed on each of the lower (17) and upper (18) transverse crosspieces, and each supporting the end of each lower (5) or upper (6) beam bearing against the closing stop upright (3).

6. Gantry (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the opening stop upright (4) comprises a vertical post (20) and two supports (21) being in the form of an angle iron and fixed to said post (20), and each supporting the end of each lower (5) or upper (6) beam bearing against the opening stop upright (4).

7. Gantry (1) according to any one of claims 4 to 6 characterized in that each lower (5) or upper (6) beam is a self-supporting profile comprising in the lower part a generally C-shaped rail pivoted 90° to the right, said rail being open at each of its longitudinal ends and downwards so as to determine a longitudinal cavity (22), and a longitudinal slot (23) opening transversely on one side into said longitudinal cavity (22) and on the other to the outside of said lower (5) or lower (6) beam, and in that each lower (5) or upper (6) beam extends between the outer (7) and inner (8) posts of each assembly of the middle structure (2) and rests respectively on the lower transverse crosspieces (9) and on the upper transverse crosspieces (10) of said assemblies.

8. Gantry (1) according to claim 7 characterized in that each lower (5) or upper (6) beam is associated with rolling members (24) each interposed between each lower (5) or upper (6) beam and respectively the lower transverse crosspiece (9) or the upper transverse crosspiece (10) of each assembly of the median structure (2) and in that each rolling member (24) comprises at least one first roller (25) pivoting around an axis ho- rizontal and a second roller (26) pivoting around a vertical axis, said first and second rollers (25, 26) cooperating with the internal wall of the longitudinal cavity (22) of each lower (5) or upper (6) beam to guide the latter vertically and horizontally during its translation.

9. Portico (1) according to any one of claims 2 to 8 characterized in that the lower 5 and upper 6 beams are located respectively 1.10 meters and 2.20 meters from the ground.

10. Gantry (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 9 characterized in that the translation means (27) comprise a rack (28) fixed on one of the vertical longitudinal faces of the lower (5) or upper (6) beam, and a pinion (29) pivotally mounted around a horizontal axis on the middle structure (2), driven in rotation by an electric motor (30) and cooperating with said rack (28) to translate the lower (5) or upper (6) beam.
