Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Drum for soap grater
[0001] The present invention relates to a hollow drum device for grating by microblades which grinds solid soap by removing material, the soap powder generated being authoritatively conveyed inside the hollow of the drum to be unwound by a dispenser equipped with an opening flap through which the user recovers the soap powder after a rotation of the drum around a horizontal axis.
[0002] As it stands, solid soap grating drums have a closed generator, which does not allow the reduced material in the form of powders and / or chips to fall vertically through the drum.
[0003] There are arrangements of cone-shaped drums and / or cylindrical scraping drums which push the material onto its generator to make it fall back down and / or drums whose axis must be vertical or inclined to evacuate the grated materials by gravity; these solutions show that the person skilled in the art has used derisory and erroneous techniques which do not achieve the following objective: to make the grated material fall by gravity through a cylindrical scraping drum with a horizontal axis in a direct manner.
[0004] There is no effective arrangement device for hollow cylindrical microblade grating drums equipped with evacuation flaps, the user is consequently forced to use drums with closed generators which is neither aesthetic nor ergonomic.
[0005] The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks; it is a hollow cylindrical drum equipped on a first part of its generatrix with a microblade grating tool and on another part of its generatrix with an evacuation flap connected to the drum by an articulation axis between them by respective articulation axes thus forming a link also serving to support the soap when the flaps are folded over the drum.
[0006] The device must satisfy three essential conditions: the first condition is that at the beginning of the cycle, the rotation of the horizontally oriented drum closes its generatrix by means of one or more flaps forming a support link as it passes under the soap, thus supporting it and preventing it from falling inside the drum. The second condition is that at a certain point in the cycle, the passage of the soap over the grating blade generates soap powder which accumulates inside the drum. The third condition is that at the end of the cycle, the rotation of the drum opens its generatrix by means of one or more flaps forming a link during the gravity discharge of the grated soap contained inside the drum.
[0007] The grating drum comprises, according to a first characteristic, a rigid horizontal cylindrical structure forming the drum, having on its upper part a grating tool made of thin sheet metal of the same diameter as the cylinder and equipped with microblades generating soap chips and / or powder during rotation at a certain point in the cycle and its passage under the soap which is ground and passes through the sheet metal in the form of powder and / or chips under pressure exerted, while on its lower part, flaps open by gravity increased by the effect of the centrifugal force of the rotation of the drum, connected to the drum by a pivot axis and to each other by respective pivot axes, thus forming a link for opening the drum to allow the evacuation by gravity of the soap at the end of the cycle,The rotation of the drum automatically closes the drain flaps, which form a support as it passes under the soap to keep it stable, and so on with each complete drum cycle.
[0008] Thus, when the user wishes to retrieve soap, he positions his hand under the drum, with the other hand turns the drum using a crank, after a complete rotation the powdered soap particles fall vertically into the palm of his hand.
[0009] In this way, users pick up the powdered soap directly and vertically under the drum, which is ergonomic and aesthetic.
[0010] According to advantageous features of the invention: The drum comprises helical blades, chevron-shaped allowing a progressive attack of the soap but also straight for a frontal attack, serrated or alveolated either on the same drum or respective drums whether for grating or milling.
[0011] The drum in another particular embodiment has one or more opening flaps connected to each other by an articulation axis thus forming a link also serving as a support for the solid soap.
[0012] According to advantageous features of the invention: the structure is made of steel, brass, plastic, or wood. A geared motor drives the rotation of the machining drum equipped with gear teeth for electrically powered operation.
[0013] The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: [Fig.1] represents an external perspective view of the version of the device of the invention in the soap grating position and with the evacuation flaps open.
[0014] Fig. 2 represents a side cross-sectional view of the version of the device of the invention in the position of the soap supported on the closed flaps of soap evacuation and support.
[0015] Fig. 3 represents a general perspective view in a soap grater arrangement device, the drum in the soap grating position and the evacuation flaps open.
[0016] With reference to these drawings and according to [Fig.1], the device shows the drum (1) having on its upper part a thin sheet metal grating tool (2) of the same diameter as the cylinder and equipped with microblades (3) generating, here represented by an arrow, soap chips and / or powder (4) during rotation at a moment of the cycle and its passage under the soap (5) which is machined and passes through the sheet metal in the form of powder and / or chips under a pressure exerted while on its lower part open by gravity increased by the effect of the centrifugal force of the rotation of the drum evacuation flaps (6) connected to the drum by an articulation axis (7) and to each other by respective articulation axes (8) thus forming an opening link to allow the evacuation by gravity of the soap.
[0017] With reference to these drawings and according to [Fig. 2], the device shows that the rotation of the horizontally oriented drum (1) automatically closes its generatrix by means of one or more flaps (6) forming a support link as it passes under the soap in order to support it so that it does not fall inside the drum
[0018] The device according to the invention is intended for the hygienic arrangement of the use of solid soaps by dispensers transforming the solid soap into single-use and economical flakes and / or chips, which the user uses to wash their hands.
