AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing lighting systems for palm trees, particularly phoenix-type palm trees, fail to adapt to the changing diameter of the trunk due to humidity variations, leading to inconsistent lighting and potential damage from stakes.

Method used

A system comprising adjustable and adaptive semi-circular straps with springs and handles, allowing for 360° LED cord installation, and a 24V constant voltage light cord with double insulation to prevent power outages, which can be fixed to the palm tree trunk to accommodate diameter changes.

Benefits of technology

The system provides consistent lighting and prevents damage by adapting to the palm tree's diameter changes, ensuring uniform illumination and reliable power supply.

Description

Title of the invention: Support for light cord

[0001] The invention relates to the lighting of Phoenix palm trees and, more generally, trees. It is a system composed of a ring A and a ring B, each made up of two adjustable and adaptable semicircles that are attached to a palm tree, for example [Fig. 1]. Springs fixed to the first ring "A" are used to adjust the diameter. Loops on the ring "A" allow the ring "B" to be attached. This ring "B" has supports that allow the installation of the LED strip, which provides 360° illumination [Fig. 2]. The two semicircles that make up the ring "B" have male and female ends, allowing the ring to be inserted and adjusted. Its height allows for the passage of a lawnmower and avoids the need for spotlights on stakes, which only create a patch of light. Its 24-volt constant voltage light cord requires a double-insulated converter to limit power outages. Its fixing principle allows it to adapt to the changes in diameter that a phoenix experiences depending on the humidity.

Claims

Claims

1. The subject of the invention is an adjustable and adaptive support for LED cord allowing 360° lighting around the tree characterized by: a. an “A” and “B” hoop composed of two adjustable and adaptive half-circles. b. springs fixed on the first hoop “A” which aim to adjust the initial diameter of the palm tree and to compensate for variations due to humidity. c. handles on strapping “A” which allow strapping “B” to be fixed; This strapping “B” has supports which allow the light cord to be installed. d. the fact that the two semicircles which make up the strapping “B” have a male and female side allowing this strapping to be inserted and adjusted.
