Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: FASTENING SYSTEM CONFIGURED TO FIT AN ARTICLE AND ASSOCIATED ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY METHOD TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a fixing system configured to equip an article, in particular leather goods, or textiles, cosmetics or even furniture.
[0002] The invention also relates to such an article, in particular leather goods, or textiles, cosmetics or even furniture, provided with such a fixing system and at least a first part configured to be mechanically secured to any support using the fixing system.
[0003] The invention also relates to a method for securing and / or unsecuring such an article using such a fastening system. STATE OF THE ART
[0004] Articles are known, for example leather goods, each comprising a first part and a second part mechanically attached to the first part using so-called press studs, or press studs, each provided with a male part attached to the first part and a female part attached to the second part of the article and configured to cooperate with the male part.
[0005] The male part may comprise a base from which a pin having a widened end portion projects, while the female part may comprise a body in which an internal cavity is formed in which spring blades project.
[0006] The internal cavity of the body of the female part defines an insertion opening for the enlarged end portion of the pin of the male part and the spring blades are configured so as to admit a stable configuration deployed in the internal cavity and a retracted configuration.
[0007] In particular, when the widened end portion of the pin of the male part is introduced through the insertion opening into the internal cavity of the body of the female part, by the effect of a pressure or pushing force exerted by a user, the widened end portion spreads the spring blades which pass from their deployed configuration to their retracted configuration in which the widened end portion can be inserted into the internal cavity.
[0008] Once the widened end portion is sufficiently inserted into the internal cavity, the spring blades return to their stable deployed configuration, thus locking the widened end portion in the internal cavity and incidentally securing the part male and female part, and therefore the first part and the second part of the article.
[0009] The unfastening of the first part and the second part of the article is done by reverse movement, by separating the male part and the female part. Statement of the invention
[0010] The present invention aims to provide a fixing system configured to mechanically secure at least a first part of an article to any support, of a similar type, and which is particularly simple and convenient both to manufacture and to use.
[0011] The invention thus relates, according to a first aspect, to a fastening system configured to mechanically secure at least a first part of an article, in particular leather goods, or textiles, cosmetics or even furniture, to any support, the fastening system comprising a male element configured to be secured to one of the first part and the support, and a female element configured to be secured to the other of the support and the first part and to cooperate, by elastic deformation, with the male element when the first part is mechanically secured to the support;the fixing system being characterized in that the female element is formed by a generally flat and elastically deformable pad, which pad is provided with a through orifice defining an insertion opening for the male element, and in that the fixing system is configured so that the insertion opening is variable, between a minimum value when the pad is not stressed and a maximum value when the pad is stressed by the male element with a view to mechanically securing or unsecuring the first part and the support.;
[0012] In the fixing system according to the invention, the introduction opening for the male part, which is defined by the through-hole of the pad, is variable by the elastic deformation of the pad alone.
[0013] In other words, such a fastening system does not require additional deformable parts, such as spring blades, which are typically necessary for the female element of a press stud.
[0014] Thus, such a fixing system allows the mechanical securing or unsecuring of the first part of the article and the support by a variation of the introduction opening, defined by the through-orifice of the pellet, when the pellet is stressed by the male element.
[0015] Preferred, simple, convenient and economical features of the fastening system according to the invention are presented below.
[0016] The through-hole provided in the pellet may be delimited by an internal contour forming a gripping edge for the male element.
[0017] The internal contour of the through-orifice may be generally circular, oblong or rectangular and the male element may have a head of substantially complementary shape.
[0018] The pellet may be provided with deformation zones around the through hole.
[0019] The deformation zones may be formed of notches and / or slots extending radially from the through hole.
[0020] The pellet may have a generally circular external contour.
[0021] The pellet may come in one piece with a reinforcing piece of the first part of the article or the support.
[0022] The female element may comprise several generally flat and elastically deformable pellets arranged adjacently in the first part or in the support, and with their respective through-orifices facing each other.
[0023] The pellets may be separated by a first element of material from the first part or the support.
[0024] The male element may be formed by a pin provided with a head extending in projection from the first part or from the support and configured to be introduced at least partially through the through-orifice of the pellet.
[0025] The through-orifice formed in the pellet may be delimited by an internal contour forming a gripping edge, and the head of the pin may be provided with a protuberance configured to urge the pellet around its through-orifice to vary the insertion opening and a recess against which the gripping edge bears when the first part is mechanically secured to the support.
[0026] The pawn may be provided with a base to which the head is mechanically secured, with a second element of material from the first part or the support which is sandwiched between the head and the base.
[0027] The invention also relates, according to a second aspect, to an article, in particular leather goods, or textiles, cosmetics or even furniture, comprising a fixing system presented above and at least a first part configured to be secured to any support using the fixing system.
[0028] The invention also relates, according to a third aspect, to a method of securing a first part of an article, in particular leather goods, or textiles, cosmetics or even furniture, to any support, using a fixing system presented above, comprising the step of introducing the male element into the pad through the introduction opening, by elastically deforming the pad so as to temporarily enlarge its through orifice.
[0029] The invention also relates, according to a fourth aspect, to a method of dis- securing a first part of an article, in particular leather goods, or textiles, cosmetics or even furniture, to any support, using a fixing system presented above, comprising the step of extracting the male element from the pad through the introduction opening, by elastically deforming the pad so as to temporarily enlarge its through orifice. [0041] Figures 1 and 2 partially illustrate an article 1, here leather goods, provided with a first part 2 and a second part 3 forming a support.
[0042] In [Fig.l], the first part 2 and the second part 3 are mechanically secured together using a fixing system 10, while in [Fig.2], the first part 1 and the second part 2 are at a distance from each other.
[0043] The first part 2 of the article 1 is here formed of a first element of material 23 and a second element of material 24 adjacent and subject to the first element of matter 23.
[0044] The first part 2 has a first external face 21 formed on the first material element 23 and a second external face 22, which is opposite the first external face 21, and which is formed on the second material element 24.
[0045] The first part 2 further has a first orifice 20 passing through the first material element 23 and the second material element 24 and opening out on either side of the first external face 21 and the second external face 22.
[0046] The second part 3 of the article 1 is formed here from a single element of material, also called the third element of material, and has a third internal face 31 and a third external face 32 opposite the third internal face 31.
[0047] For the assembly of the first part 2 of the article 1 with the second part 3 of the article 1, the second external face 22 of the first part 2 is arranged opposite the third internal face 31 of the second part 3, as visible in [Fig.2].
[0048]
[0049] In the example illustrated, the second part 3 is here provided with a second orifice 30, arranged so as to pass through the second part 3 on either side of its third external face 31 and fourth external face 32.
[0050] The fastening system 10 comprises a male element 5 secured to the second part 3 of the article 1, and a female element 4 which is secured to the first part 2 of the article 1 and which is configured to cooperate, by elastic deformation, with the male element 5 when the first part 2 is mechanically secured to the second part 3 (see below).
[0051] With reference to [Fig. 3] to 6, the female element of the fixing system 10 is formed by a generally flat and elastically deformable pad 4, while the male element of the fixing system 10 is formed by a pin 5.
[0052] In particular, the pellet 4 is provided with a through orifice 40 defining an introduction opening 42 for the pin 5.
[0053] The pellet 4 can be made of metal or of plastic or composite material.
[0054] The fastening system 10 is configured so that the insertion opening 42 is variable, between a minimum value when the pad 4 is not stressed and a maximum value when the pad 4 is stressed by the pin 5 with a view to the mechanical attachment or unattachment of the first part 2 and the second part 3.
[0055] The pellet 4 has an internal contour 41 delimiting the through orifice 40, and an external contour 45 here generally circular.
[0056] The internal contour 41 forms a gripping edge for the pin 5.
[0057] The internal contour 41 of the through-orifice 40 is here generally circular.
[0058] In the example illustrated, the pellet 4 is provided with a plurality of de- formation 43 arranged around the through hole 40.
[0059] The deformation zones 43 comprise slots 44 extending radially from the through-orifice 40.
[0060] In other words, the slots 44 extend from the internal contour 41 towards the external contour 45 of the pellet 4.
[0061] In the example illustrated, the pellet 4 comprises ten slots 44 which are generally and regularly distributed around the through-orifice 40.
[0062] These slots 44 allow the deformation of the pellet 4 at the level of its internal contour 41 and thus the variability of the introduction opening 42.
[0063] The pellet 4 is here configured to be sandwiched between the first material element 23 and the second material element 24 of the first part 2 of the article 1.
[0064] In particular, the pellet 4 is interposed between a first internal face 25 of the first material element 23 which is opposite its first external face 21, and a second internal face 26 of the second material element 24 which is opposite its second external face 22.
[0065] In other words, the first material element 23 is secured by its first internal face 25 to the second internal face 26 of the second material element 24, with the pellet 4 sandwiched and immobilized in position, with the through orifice 40 of the pellet 4 which is generally arranged opposite the first orifice 20 of the first part 2, or even centered with the first orifice 20.
[0066] It will be noted that the through-orifice 40 of the pellet 4 has a so-called internal diameter which is substantially equal to or slightly less than the diameter of the first orifice 20 formed in the first part 2 of the article 1.
[0067] In other words, the internal contour 41 of the pellet 4 comes substantially flush or projects slightly into the first orifice 20, in particular when the introduction opening 42 is at its minimum value.
[0068] The pellet 4 is thus inserted between the first material element 23 and the second material element 24, without damaging the first material element 23 and / or the second material element 24, and being invisible or almost invisible from the outside of the article 1.
[0069] Furthermore, the pin 5 here comprises a base 51 and a head 50 projecting from the base 51.
[0070] The base 51 of the pin 5 has a base 57 and a threaded rod 58 projecting from the base 57.
[0071] The base 57 is configured to be disposed against the third external face 32 of the second part 3 of article 1, with the threaded rod 58 which passes through a second orifice 30 made in the second part 3 and opening on either side of its third external face 32 and third internal face 31.
[0072] The head 50 is configured to be screwed onto the base 51.
[0073] In particular, the head 50 here has a threaded internal cavity 56 opening at a proximal end 49 of the head 50.
[0074] The head 50 is configured to come into contact, by means of a shoulder 48 provided on the side of its proximal end 49, on the third internal face 31 of the second part 3, with the proximal end 49 which is introduced into the second orifice 30.
[0075] The internal threaded cavity 56 of the head 50 is configured to receive the threaded rod 58 of the base 51 for their mechanical securing.
[0076] Thus, the pin 5 has its head 50 which extends in projection from the third internal face 31 of the second part 3 of the article 1, with the second part 3 of the article 1 which is partially sandwiched between the head 50 and the base 51 of the pin 5.
[0077] The head 50 here has a shape substantially complementary to the internal contour 41 of the through-orifice 40 of the pellet 4, in particular generally circular.
[0078] In the example illustrated, the head 50 has an external contour 54 extending between the proximal end 49 and a distal end 55 opposite the proximal end 49, as well as a recess 53 formed circumferentially on the external contour 54, on the side of the distal end 55.
[0079] The external contour 54 of the head 50 located between the recess 53 and the distal end 55 forms a protuberance of the head 50.
[0080] It will be noted that the protuberance of the head 50 may have a beveled portion in the direction of the distal end 55.
[0081] It will also be noted that the head 50 has an external diameter substantially equal to or less than the first orifice 20 of the first part 2 of the article 1 and greater than the internal diameter of the pellet 4, when the introduction opening 42 has its minimum value.
[0082] We will now describe, with particular reference to figures 5 and 6, the cooperation of the pin 5 with the pellet 4 and therefore the assembly of the second article 3 with the first article 2.
[0083] The head 50 of the pin 5 is introduced at least partially into the first orifice 20 of the first part 2 and through the introduction opening 42 delimited by the internal contour 41 of the pellet 4, that is to say into the through orifice 40 of this pellet 4.
[0084] In particular, the protuberance defined by the portion of the external contour 54 of the head 50 located between the recess 53 and the distal end 55 stresses the internal contour 41 of the pellet 4 and enlarges the introduction opening 42 by deformation of the pellet 4 at the level of the deformation zones 43.
[0085] In other words, the slots 44 move apart to widen the introduction opening 42 from its minimum value to a value closer to its maximum value, in depending on the diameter of the head 50 and thus allow the distal end 55 of the head 50 to pass through to the recess 53.
[0086] At the level of the recess 53, the internal contour 41 of the pellet 4 is no longer or is less stressed so that the introduction opening 42 narrows until the gripping edge of the pellet 4 comes into the recess 53 of the head 50.
[0087] In this configuration, the head 50 of the pin 5 is assembled with the pellet 4 and the second article 3 is mechanically secured with the first article 2.
[0088] The mechanical disengagement of the first part 2 from the second part 3 of the article 1 is carried out according to a movement opposite to that described above, but with a similar effect on the introduction opening 42 of the pellet 4.
[0089] The extraction of the pin 5 through the introduction opening 42 is done by elastically deforming the deformation zones 43 of the pellet 4, with the slots 44 which move apart to widen the introduction opening 42 from the value corresponding to the diameter of the recess 53 of the head 50 to a value closer to its maximum value, and thus allow the head 50 to emerge from the through orifice 40 and the first orifice 20.
[0090] In the description given of the pellet 4 with reference in particular to FIGS. 3 to 6, the latter has an external contour 45 of determined external diameter and of determined thickness. The deformation zones 43 and therefore the slots 44 formed in this pellet 4 have dimensions which are a function of this determined external diameter and of this determined thickness, and also of the desired minimum and maximum values of the introduction opening 42.
[0091] [Fig.7] shows a pellet 4 which differs from the pellet described above only in that it has an external contour of larger external diameter and also a greater thickness, so that the deformation zones 43 and the slots 44 formed in this pellet 4 can be for example larger.
[0092] [Fig. 8] shows a pellet 4 which differs from the pellet described with reference to FIGS. 3 to 6 only in that it comprises a greater number of slots 44, in particular sixteen, forming the deformation zones 43.
[0093] [Fig. 9] illustrates a pellet 46 which differs from the pellet 4 described with reference to FIGS. 3 to 6 in that the through-orifice 40 has an internal contour 41 which is generally rectangular rather than circular. The same is therefore true of the introduction opening and the same must therefore be true of the head of the pin.
[0094] In the pellet 46, the deformation zones 43 have slots 44 which extend from the internal contour 41 towards an external contour, substantially parallel to each other from a respective side of the rectangle formed by the internal contour.
[0095] [Fig. 10] illustrates a pellet 47 which differs from the pellet 4 described with reference to FIGS. 3 to 6 in that the deformation zones 43 have, in addition to the slots 44 which extend from the internal contour 41 of the through orifice 40, notches 39 arranged regularly along the internal contour 41.
[0096] [Fig. 11] is a view similar to that of [Fig. 2], showing an article 1 with its first part 2 at a distance from its second part 3 and the associated fixing system 10.
[0097] The fixing system 10 differs from that already described with reference to the preceding figures, in that it is provided with two pads 4 and two recesses 53 formed on the external contour 54 of the head 50 of the pin 50.
[0098] The first part 2 of the article 1 comprises an intermediate material element 27 interposed between the first material element 23 and the second material element 24, with one of the pellets 4 being sandwiched between the first material element 23 and the intermediate material element 27 and the other of the pellets 4 being sandwiched between the second material element 24 and the intermediate material element 27.
[0099] The two pellets 4 may be identical or different.
[0100] For example, they may have different thicknesses and thus generate two stress forces for the assembly of the first part with the second part, and / or two assembly positions.
[0101] Indeed, the recess 53 closest to the distal end 55 can cooperate with the pellet 4 sandwiched between the second material element 24 and the intermediate material element 27, so that the first part 2 and the second part 3 are secured in a first assembly position.
[0102] Furthermore, the recess 53 closest to the distal end 55 can cooperate with the pellet 4 sandwiched between the first material element 23 and the intermediate material element 27 and the other recess 53, further from the distal end 55, can cooperate with the pellet 4 sandwiched between the second material element 24 and the intermediate material element 27, so that the first part 2 and the second part 3 are secured according to a second assembly position, where the head 50 is pushed deeper into the first orifice 20 of the first part 2 of the article 1.
[0103] In the fixing system 10 described above, the introduction opening 42 which is defined by the through orifice 40 of the pellet 4, is variable by the elastic deformation of the pellet 4 alone.
[0104] In other words, such a fastening system 10 does not require additional deformable parts, such as spring blades, which are typically necessary for the female element of a press stud.
[0105] Thus, such a fixing system 10 allows the mechanical securing or unsecuring of the first part 2 of the article 1 and of the second part 3 of article 1 by a variation of the introduction opening 42, defined by the through orifice 40 of the pellet 4, when the pellet 4 is acted upon by the pin 5.
[0106] Variants not illustrated are described below.
[0107] The article may be an article of jewelry, or of textiles, cosmetics or even furniture rather than a leather goods item.
[0108] The first part of the article may be formed from a single element of material.
[0109] The second part of the article can be formed by several material elements.
[0110] The support may not be formed by a second part of the article, but rather be distinct from this article.
[0111] The pellet may be made of an elastically deformable material and may not have any notch and / or slot, the opening for introducing the pellet then being variable solely by the elastic deformation of its through orifice.
[0112] The pellet may come in one piece with a reinforcing piece of the first part of the article or the support.
[0113] The internal contour of the through-hole of the pellet may be oblong or rectangular, or of any other shape.
[0114] The pellet may be provided with a single deformation zone around the through hole.
[0115] The deformation zones may be formed of notches or a mixture of slots and notches.
[0116] The external contour of the pellet can be oblong or rectangular, or any other shape.
[0117] The pad may be configured to be secured to the second portion of the support article, rather than the first portion, and the pin is then secured to the first portion rather than the second portion of the article.
[0118] The pawn may have an oblong or rectangular head, or any other complementary shape rather than circular.
[0119] The protrusion provided on the head of the pin may have a diameter larger than that of the head of the pin.
[0120] The head and base of the pin may be secured by clipping, crimping, welding or any other suitable assembly rather than by screwing.
[0121] The pawn may be made in one piece and be secured to the first part or the second part of the article by gluing, sewing or any other suitable securing method.
[0122] In the illustrated examples, the first orifice 20 is a through orifice, but it could be blind, in particular with an additional element of material arranged on the first external face and covering the first orifice.
[0123] More generally, the invention is not limited to the examples described and represented.
