Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for assisting in the early cardiopulmonary resuscitation of a person which records (104), following a detection (102) of a second action on a second means of a human-machine interface, at least a first data point representing a time instant of detection (103) of a third action on a third means of the human-machine interface, the recording stopping when a fourth action on a fourth means of the human-machine interface is detected (105); - if the fourth action is detected (105) then the method comprises the following steps: - stopping (106) a stopwatch; - recording (107), in the memory of the first device, a second data point in association with said at least a first data point, the second data point being representative of a calculated duration between a time instant of detection of the first action and a time instant of detection of the fourth action.Figure for the abbreviation: Figure 4.
