Abstract

The Pouf-Duvet initially takes the form of a cylindrical pouf, composed of several separable parts, allowing the entire pouf to open and reveal the duvet. The cylinder then becomes a footboard flap, and the interlocking side discs form a round cushion cover. The duvet features invisible openings and various seams that create filling compartments. These openings allow for filling and unfilling the duvet using a variety of removable pockets made from selected materials, making it fully customizable. Description

Title of the invention: Convertible and modular pouf-duvet.

[0001] The model according to the invention is initially presented in the form of a cylindrical pouf composed of different separable parts. The side discs separate from the cylinder which opens into two parts, allowing the duvet to be deployed. The duvet is made from a piece of fabric onto which several overlapping pieces of fabric are sewn, thus creating openings. Its various seams form offset compartments allowing it to be filled and unfilled using a plurality of removable pouches. Its filling pouches are filled with recycled, fireproof polystyrene beads and hot water bottle pouches to warm or cool your nights. They can contain other materials such as feathers, down, beads, etc., making the model modular, enveloping, and weightable at will. The duvet adapts to all beds thanks to its removable filling system. All parts of this model can be used separately and are machine washable.

[0002] This system makes it possible to overcome the disadvantages of the models already proposed: Traditional beanbags, like duvets and weighted blankets, are single-use and difficult to maintain (laundry, dry cleaning). The opening system allows it to be unlined and facilitates frequent washing in a standard machine, thus avoiding anti-mite treatments. The compartmentalization makes it modular at will and adaptable to all beds; evolving, bunk beds, etc. It is available in several sizes and materials such as cotton, linen, silk... and can include extensions depending on the models for more length or width. Depending on the sizes and models, offset seams such as openings; zips, snaps... can be made differently.

[0005] The filling bags: They are filled with polystyrene beads, recycled and flame retardant for comfort. Some are also filled with cherry pits to weigh down the duvet and to cool or warm the bed. It will also be possible to mix the materials inside the pouches, for example: core beads, etc. The polystyrene bead pouches are a significant advantage; they allow heat to be regulated thanks to movements made during sleep, making the duvet more enveloping and comfortable. They are easily machine washable and do not cause any overloading during the cycle.

Claims

1. Model of a convertible and modular duvet pouf at will, characterized in that the model is initially in the form of a cylindrical pouf composed of different separable parts, allowing the duvet to be deployed. The duvet is made of a piece of fabric on which several overlapping pieces of fabric are sewn, thus creating openings, its various seams form offset compartments allowing its filling and its unfilling by a plurality of removable pouches. Its filling pouches are filled with polystyrene balls and pouches of cherry pits to weigh down the duvet at will.

2. Model according to claim 1, characterized in that the pouf is formed from different sections of fabric joined together by zips, Velcro, etc., forming the ideal packaging and an extra seat. Depending on the model, it can be of different shapes, sizes and materials and include a carrying handle.

3. Model according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the different parts of the pouf are separable, its cylinder serves as a bed foot flap and its discs form a pyjama storage.

4. Models according to claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the Pouf can be separated from the duvet to be used alone and that it can be quilted entirely or partially depending on the model.

5. Models according to claim 1, characterized in that the duvet is composed of a back fabric panel and several front fabric panels partially overlapped and sewn together forming an openable duvet. Depending on the models and sizes, the fabric panels and their overlap may be larger or smaller.

6. Model according to claim 5, characterized in that the openings of the duvet, invisible due to the overlapping of the fabric panels, can be closed by zips, snaps, etc. or remain without closure and can be more or less numerous depending on the sizes or models.

7. Model according to claims 1 and 5, characterized in that the duvet has multiple horizontal and vertical seams defining offset filling compartments. According to the models, they may be more or less numerous and the compartments may not be offset.

8. Model according to claim 1, characterized in that the filling bags are removable and can be machine washed.

9. Model according to claim 1 and 8, characterized in that the filling bags are filled with recycled and flame-retardant polystyrene balls and cherry stone bags. Depending on the model, they can have a mixed filling; cores-down, balls-fibers..., or a simple filling - balls, wadding, cotton... and can have different filling densities.

10. Model according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the different elements of the Pouf-Duvet are separable and washable in a standard machine and can have different sizes, shapes or materials for more choice and comfort.
