Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Foldable deposit device.
[0001] The invention relates generally to automatic instruction technology.
[0002] Each year, the product and goods delivery and shipping sector experiences exponential growth. The constant increase in this activity raises major challenges, both environmentally and in terms of personal and professional organization. It has become essential to ensure the efficiency of the supply distribution process in order to minimize environmental impacts and optimize logistics management for both individuals and businesses.
[0003] Nowadays, the delivery or collection of packages or large goods when the recipient is not available on site presents challenges. It requires either cumbersome infrastructure or the organization of a home delivery or delivery to a specific location, resulting in both a loss of time for the user and the energy consumed by travel. Faced with these logistical challenges, it is imperative to find more practical and efficient solutions to facilitate these operations while improving the user's daily experience.
[0004] The invention aims to provide a secure delivery, collection or storage point, possessing a certain volume. Another objective of the invention is to occupy a small amount of space when the user does not need it. The final objective of the invention is to be relatively well concealed in the environment when not in use.
[0005] To this end, the invention, in its retracted position, will occupy a minimal volume so as not to physically obstruct the space around it and not to impair the visual environment when no delivery or collection is anticipated by the user. When a delivery or collection is expected, the user will provide the relevant service, by email or other means of communication, with a code enabling the automated deployment of the system, as well as the unlocking of the front door of the invention to allow access for the deposit or collection of the cabinet's contents. The invention can also be used unilaterally by the user as a storage cabinet in order to have additional storage space at home. The invention will preferably be installed at the property line, accessible from the road or within the user's domain. The invention will be electrically powered either by a plug or by a battery internal battery that can be recharged using solar cells.

[0008] The detailed description of the invention below is based on the figures in order to illustrate the different elements which constitute it. Figures [Fig. 1] and [Fig. 4] illustrate the invention in its original position, with the access door 3 closed and the upper 4 and lower 8 panels in their original positions. The housing 1 is a physical communication unit enabling interaction with the invention. Figures [Fig.2] and [Fig.3] illustrate the invention in a fully deployed position, in which the upper panels 4 and 5, the lower panels 7 and 8, the left wall 6, the right wall 10 and the rear wall 9 form a box. Figure [Fig.5] illustrates the opening of door 3 during the deposit or removal of the contents of the invention. Figure [Fig. 6] illustrates the main mechanism of the invention, consisting of a right carriage 16 and a left carriage 15 that translate horizontally on an upper rail 11 and a lower rail 17 and have symmetrically opposite movements. The carriages 15 and 16 are attached symmetrically to the transmission belt 14, which is driven by a motor equipped with a pulley 12 and another pulley 13. Figure [Fig.8] illustrates the upper mechanism of the right carriage 16 which translates on the rail 11 composed of an assembly, lower rollers 24, 23 and an upper roller 22 fixed to the support 21. Figures [Fig.7], [Fig.9] and [Fig.11] illustrate the articulation of the left wall 6 and right wall 10 as well as the rear wall 9. To achieve this, the translation carriages 15 and 16 guide the side walls 6 and 10 in rotation by means of the hinges 25 and 26. The hinges 28 and 31 are fixed to the rear wall 9 and allow a pivot connection between the side walls 6 and 10. Figure [Fig. 10] illustrates the rear wall 9 and its guide system 18 at the four corners. Figure [Fig. 12] illustrates the upper left guide system of door 9, consisting of two rollers 18 and 33 installed on a fixed axis 32 connected to the support 34 which is fixed to the wall 9. Figure [Fig. 13] illustrates the wall 9 introduced into the upper panels 5 and lower panels 7 by means of the rollers 33 and 18 located at the four corners and the angle brackets 35a, 35b, 35c and 35d. Figure [Fig. 14] illustrates the lower left angle brackets 35b and 36b attached to the lower panels 7 and 8. Angle bracket 35b accommodates rollers 18 and 33 connected to the rear wall 9. Angle bracket 36b accommodates rollers 37, 38, and 39, which are attached to the lower panel 7. Panels 7 and 8 can translate relative to each other, and the rear wall 9 can pivot along angle bracket 35b. The lower left hinge 40 fixed to the frame allows rotation of the lower panel 8. The total number of hinges 40 integrated into the system is four. Figure [Fig. 15] illustrates the articulation of the elements when the system is at approximately fifty percent of the deployment movement. Figure [Fig. 16] illustrates the articulation of the elements when the system is in its original position. Figure [Fig. 17] illustrates the secondary mechanism of the invention, consisting of a motor with a pulley 45 connected to a pulley 42 by a belt drive 46. A lever effect under the upper panel 4 is provided by a roller 49 installed on the arm 48 which is fixed to the pulley 42. The hinge 40 fixed to the frame allows the rotation of the upper panel 4. Figure [Fig. 18] illustrates the frame of the invention 2a, two roller rails 51 and 51a, and the open access door 3. An electronic lock assembly 50 and 50a is fixed to the frame 2a, and a pin is fixed to the frame 2a of the door 3. Figure [Fig. 19] illustrates the left part of the front door 3 translation mechanism, consisting of a roller 52 fixed to the door frame 3a. This roller 52 will be guided in vertical translation on the rail 51. The door frame 3a will also be guided in vertical translation by a roller 53 fixed to the frame 2a.
[0009] A preferred embodiment and operation of the invention given by way of illustration but not limitation is presented in the following description. At rest, the invention is in its original position, as demonstrated by figures [Fig.1], [Fig.4] and [Fig.16], If a person or delivery person wishes to interact with the invention, they must present themselves at the control box 1 or use a wireless means of communication. When the invention is activated using a valid access code, the secondary mechanical system as demonstrated by the figure [Fig. 17] will start operating in order to act as a lever on the upper panel 4. Once the movement of the secondary mechanism is complete, as shown in Figure [Fig. 15], the main mechanism, as shown in Figure [Fig. 6], can be automatically set in motion to act on walls 6 and 10, as shown in Figure [Fig. 7], causing the articulation of the rear wall 9 as well as that of the upper and lower panels 4, 5, 7 and 8, as shown in Figure [Fig. 14] and Figure [Fig. 15]. Once the main movement is complete, as shown in Figures [Fig. 2] and [Fig. 3], the front door is then unlocked. The person can then manually open the front door 3, as shown in Figure [Fig. 5] in order to to place the package there. Then the closing of door 3 is also done manually, the locking of lock 50 is automatic. When the user wishes to retrieve the content, he presents himself in front of the box 1 with a card or an access code which allows him to unlock the door 3 and access the content of the invention. Once the invention is no longer in use, the user can automatically reset the system to its original position, as shown in Figures [Fig. 1], [Fig. 4], and [Fig. 16], by presenting a different card or code to the device 1. The invention will then autonomously reverse the actions detailed above. Interaction with the invention can also be performed using a wireless tool or application.
