Claims

(P4) of the second side (71) of the fourth compartment (7) in the inflated state forms an angle of at least 60° with said first plane (PI), preferably of at least 75°, more preferably of substantially 80°.

5. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said second compartment (3) forming a mattress has a thickness of substantially between 5 and 25 cm, an internal pressure in the inflated state of substantially between 0.02 and 0.04 bars, and an envelope preferably comprising 50% polyester and 50% polyurethane.

6. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is equipped with at least one inflation device (8), for inflating at least said first (5) and second (3) inflatable compartments.

7. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is equipped with at least one fixing device (9) on a bed (2).

8. Bed (2), in particular medical and intended to accommodate a patient, said bed (2) comprising a mattress (1) and a device according to any one of the preceding claims, said device being positioned on said mattress (1) so that the length (L) of the device is positioned in the length (L) of said mattress (1) and so that the width (11) of the device is positioned in the width (12) of said mattress, the width (11) of said device being greater than the width (12) of the mattress (1), the second compartment (3) in the deflated state being hanging on each side of the mattress (1) and being projecting (4) in the inflated state overhanging each side of the mattress (1), so as to have a width (11) greater than the width (12) of the mattress for turning said patient.
