Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Protective shelter for poultry for micro-production, with tubular metal frame
[0001] The invention relates to protective shelters for poultry, in particular protective shelters for poultry for micro-production of meat or eggs for consumption.
[0002] In recent years, health issues and consumption patterns have changed, leading more poultry and egg producers to favor short supply chains and micro-production. As a result, a growing number of producers are moving towards small-scale or segmented production units. Consequently, rather than using protective shelters for medium or large-sized poultry, many producers are equipping themselves with small, often mobile, protective shelters occupying between 15 and 100 m².
[0003] Some of these shelters are based on a tubular metal frame supporting protective panels. Such frames are generally made of painted or galvanized steel. The frame tubes are welded together to define the appropriate geometry. However, such shelters have drawbacks. The welds between the tubes generate harmful gases, the joints between the tubes are prone to rust, and the structures are relatively cumbersome to transport and assemble.
[0004] The invention aims to resolve one or more of these drawbacks. The invention thus relates to a protective poultry shelter with a footprint of less than 150 m², comprising:
[0005] -a set of assembled metal tubes;
[0006] -fixing elements each having at least first and second parts each bolted to two separate metal tubes of the assembled metal tube set;
[0007] -protective panels fixed to metal tubes of the assembly.
[0008] The invention also relates to the following variants. A person skilled in the art will understand that each of the characteristics of the following variants can be combined independently with the characteristics above, without constituting an intermediate generalization.
[0009] According to one variant, said metal tubes are made of galvanized steel.
[0010] According to yet another variant, the tubes of the tube assembly have a cross-section rectangular crossbar.
[0011] According to another embodiment, the set of metal tubes comprises a first group of tubes defining a support for panels of a first longitudinal facade, and a second group of tubes defining a support for panels of a second longitudinal facade, and a third group of tubes defining a support for roof panels.
[0012] According to yet another variant, the combination of the first group of tubes and the panels of the first longitudinal façade provides an opening in this first façade.
[0013] According to one variant, the set of metal tubes includes a fourth group of tubes extending longitudinally along the ground to connect the support of the first longitudinal facade and the support of the second longitudinal facade.
[0014] According to another variant, the set of metal tubes includes a fifth group of tubes extending vertically from the ground to form an intermediate support attached to the third group of tubes.
[0015] According to yet another variant, said fixing elements are made of galvanized steel.
[0016] According to yet another variant, the tubes of the metal tube assembly are straight.
[0017] According to one variant, the first and second parts of the fastening elements are each fixed by a respective bolt whose screw passes through this part and two opposite faces of a metal tube to which this part is fixed.
[0018] Other features and advantages of the invention will become clear from the following description, which is by way of example and not limitation, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
[0019] [Fig-1] is a perspective view of the frame of a protective shelter for poultry according to an example of an embodiment of the invention;
[0020] [Fig.2] is a perspective view of the protective poultry shelter including the framework of the [Fig.l] and the protective panels;
[0021] [Fig.3] is a front cross-sectional view of an example of an assembly between tubes talliques and reinforcement fixing elements of the [Fig.l];
[0022] [Fig.4] is a top cross-sectional view of the assembly example of [Fig.3].
[0023] Figure 1 is a perspective view of the frame of a poultry shelter 1 according to an embodiment of the invention. Figure 2 is a perspective view of the shelter 1 equipped with this frame and protective panels attached to this frame.
[0024] According to the invention, the poultry protection shelter 1 has a footprint of less than 150m2, so as to maintain a small operating size and to reduce the access distance between the inside and outside for the poultry coming to take shelter in the shelter 1.
[0025] The shelter 1 comprises a set of metal tubes 2 assembled to form the frame. The shelter 1 also comprises fastening elements 3. In the schematic illustration of [Fig. 1], the metal tubes 2 are shown by lines and the Fastening elements 3 are illustrated by knots.
[0026] The fastening elements 3 comprise first and second parts 31 and 32 bolted respectively to at least two separate metal tubes. Thus, the frame can be easily formed from tubes of reduced dimensions, facilitating transport, modularity, and potential repairs. The frame can be formed without the drawbacks of welding and is less susceptible to oxidation.
[0027] Parts 31 and 32 are fixed by at least one respective bolt to tubes 21 and 22. The bolts have a screw 5 and a nut 6. The screw 5 passes through this part 31 or 32 and two opposite faces of a metal tube 21 or 22.
[0028] As illustrated in [Fig. 2], protective panels 41 and 42 are attached to metal tubes 2 of the assembly to protect the animals from the elements. Panels 41 are roof panels, and panels 42 are facade panels. The protective panels can, for example, be attached to the metal tubes 2 using shackles.
[0029] Figure 3 is a front cross-sectional view of an example of an assembly between metal tubes 21 and 22 and a fixing element 3 of the reinforcement of Figure 1, at a roof junction. Figure 4 is a top cross-sectional view of this assembly.
[0030] The metal tubes 2 are advantageously made of galvanized steel to ensure their corrosion resistance. The metal tubes 2 are advantageously straight to enhance their bending strength. The metal tubes 2 advantageously have a hollow rectangular cross-section, facilitating their handling and fastening. The metal tubes advantageously have bores allowing the passage of screw shanks transversely through and through.
[0031] The tubes 2 can be divided into a group of tubes intended to form a support for the roof panels 41 and a group of tubes intended to form a support for the facade panels 42. Tubes can of course form supports for both the roof panels and the facade panels.
[0032] For a shelter with a rectangular footprint, tubes 2 can be provided to form supports for front panels of longitudinal facades and supports for side panels of lateral facades.
[0033] Advantageously, the tubes of at least one longitudinal face provide an opening 11, for example for a door. Another opening can be provided by means of the tubes of the other longitudinal face, with a larger dimension to accommodate a larger sliding door.
[0034] To ensure optimal stability and good dimensional control, tubes 23 extend longitudinally along the ground to connect the support of the first longitudinal facade and the support of the second longitudinal facade.
[0035] To ensure optimal resistance of the shelter, 24 metal tubes are joined together to tubes 23 and extend vertically in intermediate longitudinal positions.
[0036] The tubes 2 advantageously have a length between 1 and 5 meters to facilitate their handling and assembly.
[0037] The fastening elements 3 may have a geometry adapted to the tubes 2 they join, to the relative orientation between the tubes 2 to be joined, and to the number of tubes they join. The fastening elements 3 may be made of galvanized steel. The fastening elements 3 may have bored walls between which the ends of the tubes 2 fit.
