Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Jewelry item
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of the jewelry, fashion and luxury goods industry.
[0002] More particularly, the present invention relates to a jewellery article, advantageously interchangeable.
[0003] In this field, it is known that jewelry can be adapted or interchanged. For example, EP1951081 is known, which provides for a jewelry article comprising a free magnetic body that is magnetically engageable with a plurality of regions along a length of chain to form at least one loop. Depending on the length of the loop, the jewelry article is worn as a ring, a bracelet, an anklet, a chain, a choker, or a necklace.
[0004] The present invention aims to offer an alternative to this type of jewelry item, which is advantageously even more modular.
[0005] In this context, the present invention relates to a jewelry item (100), comprising:
[0006] • a flexible main body (20), provided with a first end and a second extremity, and having an elongated shape,
[0007] • a clamp (10), attached to the first end, comprising a first member (11) and a second member (12) articulated with respect to each other, and capable of selectively adopting:
[0008] • a first, open position, and
[0009] • a second, closed position.
[0010] It is essentially characterized in that
[0011] the main body (20) can be closed on itself, the clamp (10) in the closed position allowing the main body (20) to be kept closed on itself, by pinching it.
[0012] It can be predicted that the main body (20) is:
[0013] • articulated, and comprises a set of links or segments, articulated two at two, or
[0014] • threadlike and capable of undergoing elastic deformation;
[0015] at least one of the first member (11) and the second member (12) preferably comprising a recess, a groove or a notch (13), allowing the clamp (10) to be manipulated from the closed position to the open position.
[0016] A ring (30), a chain (40) and a weight (50) may also be provided; the ring (30) being integral with the main body (20) and disposed at the second end, the chain (40) being integral with the ring (30) or with the main body (20), the weight (50) being disposed at the end of the chain (40), the length of the chain (40) being such that the weight (50) can pass around the main body (20) and through the ring (30).
[0017] It can be foreseen that the clamp (10) comprises a first member (11) and a second member (12), the first member (11) and the second member (12) being articulated with respect to each other, in particular by a hinge, each member having an internal face (15), such that:
[0018] • in the open position of the clamp (10), the inner face (15) of the first member (11) is distant from the inner face (15) of the second member (12), so as to be able to insert at least the main body (20); and
[0019] • in the closed position of the clamp (10), the inner face (15) of the first member (11) comes close to, or even in contact with, the inner face (15) of the second limb (12).
[0020] It can be foreseen that at least one of the inner face (15) of the first member (11) and the inner face (15) of the second member (12) comprises a relief pattern, the relief of the inner face (15) of the first member (11) and the relief of the inner face (15) of the second member (12) being preferentially complementary to each other.
[0021] It can be foreseen that at least one of the first member (11) and the second member (12) comprises a ferromagnetic element (18), in order to be able to hold the clamp (10) in closed position by magnetization of the first member (11) and the second member (12).
[0022] It can be provided that at least one of the first member (11) and the second member (12) includes a groove (19), into which all or part of a cross-section of the main body (20) can be inserted; preferably the shape of the groove (19) locally conforming to the shape of the main body (20).
[0023] It can be provided that the first member (11) and the second member (12) comprise a respective external face, and in which at least one of the first member (11) and the second member (12) comprises a recess in which is disposed a rotating movable element (16), said rotating movable element (16) being surmounted by a color-change garnet (17) or an alexandrite, the color-change garnet (17) or the alexandrite being disposed at least partially beyond the external face of the first member (11) or the second member (12).
[0024] It can be envisaged that the jewellery article (100) according to the invention, is in the interchangeable form of a bracelet, a necklace or a hair clip (10), in which the main body (20) can be wrapped respectively around a wrist, a neck or a lock of hair, and held in the closed position by the clip (10) so as to form a loop, the clip (10) being able to pinch the main body (20) at different points thereon, so as to be able to modify the length of the loop.
[0025] It can be foreseen that the main body (20) comprises a set of stops (21) of so as to be able to modify the length of the loop according to a set of predetermined lengths, the stops (21) making it possible to prevent the main body (20) from sliding in the clamp (10) in the closed position, in particular when it is thin.
[0026] Other features and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent from the following description given by way of illustrative and non-limiting example and made with reference to the accompanying figures.
[0027] The figures are not necessarily to scale. Some details may have been omitted and others amplified, to facilitate understanding.

[0037] [Fig.9] illustrates an embodiment of a member of a jewelry article according to the invention, comprising a groove for the main body. Detailed description
[0038] As illustrated in [Fig.6], according to one embodiment of the present invention, a jewellery article 100 comprises a main body 20.
[0039] The main body 20 is provided with a first end and a second end, opposite to the first end.
[0040] The main body 20 has an elongated shape. The main body 20 is flexible, so that it can be folded back on itself, and in this case closed on itself, as illustrated in [Fig.7].
[0041] In one embodiment, not illustrated, the main body 20 is articulated and comprises a set of links or segments, articulated in pairs. It can be envisaged that at least one of the links or segments comprises a set of at least one gem.
[0042] In another embodiment, illustrated in [Fig. 7], the main body 20 is threadlike and capable of undergoing elastic deformation. For example, the main body 20 is a metal wire, made of pure metal or an alloy, for example gold, or gold-coated, or based on silver, copper, etc.
[0043] It can also be foreseen that the main body 20 is a polymer-based thread, in particular plastic, or a leather-based thread, or a fibrous material (fabric, etc.).
[0044] It can be foreseen that the main body 20 includes a set of stops 21, for example a set of gold spheres, or gems, arranged in the form of links, which come to rest against the external face of the first member 11 or the second member 12 in the closed position.
[0045] The length between two adjacent stops 21 is greater than the equivalent diameter of the clamp 10 in the closed position. The length of the loop of the main body 20 can thus be modified according to a set of predetermined lengths, the stops 21 preventing the main body 20 from slipping in the clamp 10 in the closed position, particularly when it is thin.
[0046] The stops 21 can be advantageously decorative. For example, the stops include gems or a set of metal spheres, for example, solid gold, plated or gilded metal. They are, for example, arranged in the form of links.
[0047] The jewelry item 100 also includes a clamp 10, attached to the first end. The clamp 10 comprises a first member 11 and a second member 12, the two members being articulated relative to each other, for example by means of a hinge not shown.
[0048] The clamp 10 can selectively adopt a first position, open, illustrated for example in [Fig.2], and a second position, closed, illustrated for example in [Fig.1].
[0049] The clamp 10 in the closed position allows the main body 20 to be held closed upon itself. In this case, the main body 20 can be clamped in the clamp 10, as illustrated for example in [Fig. 7].
[0050] Preferably, at least one of the first member 11 and the second member 12 comprises a notch 13, or obviously. Preferably, the first member 11 and the second member 12 each comprise a notch 13, such that the notches 13 are positioned opposite each other and in the closed position, they form a groove 14 which allows the clamp 10 to be manipulated so as to move it easily from the closed position to the open position, typically by inserting a finger into the groove 14 or by pressing a fingernail against a notch 13.
[0051] Each member has an inner face 15. The inner face 15 of the first member 11 and the inner face 15 of the second member 12 are arranged such that:
[0052] • in the open position of the clamp 10, the inner face 15 of the first member 11 is distant from the inner face 15 of the second limb 12. In the open position, it is thus possible to insert at least the main body 20, and possibly a lock of hair;
[0053] • in the closed position of the clamp 10, the inner face 15 of the first member 11 can to come into contact with the inner face 15 of the second member 12. Alternatively, it can be provided that, in the closed position of the clamp 10, the inner face 15 of the first member 11 comes away from the inner face 15 of the second member 12, as illustrated in [Fig. 1]. The intermediate space (not referenced) between the inner face 15 of the first member 11 and the inner face 15 of the second member 12 can allow a lock of hair to be inserted.
[0054] Preferably, at least one of the inner face 15 of the first member 11 and the inner face 15 of the second member 12 has a relief. Advantageously, the relief of the inner face 15 of the first member 11 and the relief of the inner face 15 of the second member 12 are complementary to each other.
[0055] For example, the inner face 15 of the first member 11 and the inner face 15 of the second member 12 are in the form of a waffle iron.
[0056] In another example, the relief of the inner face 15 of the first member 11 is in the shape of a pyramid, and the relief of the inner face 15 of the second member 12 is in the shape of an inverted pyramid, the relief of the inner face 15 of the second member 12 being able to fit into the relief of the inner face 15 of the first member 11. Other forms of relief are possible.
[0057] The relief of the inner face 15 of the first member 11 and of the inner face 15 of the second member 12 makes it possible to increase the friction surface in particular with the hair when the jewelry item 100 is used as a hair jewel, a lock of hair being advantageously pinched in the clip 10, as illustrated in [Fig.5].
[0058] In one embodiment, it may also be provided that at least one of the first member 11 and the second member 12, in particular at least one of the inner face 15 of the first member 11 and the inner face 15 of the second member 12, comprises a groove 19, into which all or part of a section of the main body 20 can be inserted. Preferably, the shape of the groove 19 locally follows the shape of the main body 20. For example, it is long and in the shape of a half-cylinder, as illustrated in [Fig.9].
[0059] It can also be provided that at least one of the first member 11 and the second member 12 includes a ferromagnetic element 18, in order to be able to keep the clamp 10 in the closed position by magnetizing the first member 11 and the second member 12 thanks to said ferromagnetic element 18.
[0060] Each member among the first member 11 and the second member 12 comprises a respective external face. It may also be provided that at least one of the first member 11 and the second member 12 comprises a recess in which is disposed a rotating movable element 16, said rotating movable element 16 being advantageously surmounted by a gem, for example a color-change garnet 17 or an alexandrite, the color-change garnet 17 or the alexandrite being disposed at least partially beyond the external face of the first member 11 or the second member 12, as illustrated in [Fig.7].
[0061] Advantageously, due to the diffracting characteristics of the gem's light and its uniqueness, it is possible to use this light for the purpose of characterizing or authenticating the jewelry item 100 according to the invention. For example, at a given time, typically before the first marketing of the jewelry item 100 according to the invention, a reference spectrum of the light diffracted by the gem, in visible or UV light, is recorded in a database at a given time, typically before the first marketing of the jewelry item 100 according to the invention. This subsequently allows the gem, and therefore the jewelry, to be identified by spectral analysis of the gem and comparison with the reference spectrum.
[0062] Preferably, the jewelry article 100 further comprises a ring 30, attached to the main body 20 and disposed at the second end thereof.
[0063] Advantageously, a chain 40 is also provided, attached to the ring 30 or to the main body 20 by one of its ends, and a weight 50 is disposed at the other end of the chain 40.
[0064] For example, the weight 50 has a spherical, ovoid, cylindrical or T-shaped form. It preferably includes a gem.
[0065] Just as with the gem of the rotating moving element 16, the gem of the weight 50 can be used for authentication purposes. For example, a reference spectrum of the light diffracted by the gem, in visible or UV light, is recorded in a database at a set of predetermined angles, which subsequently allows the gem, and therefore the jewel, to be identified by spectral analysis of the gem and comparison with the reference spectrum.
[0066] Preferably, the length of the chain 40 is such that the weight 50 can pass around the main body 20 and through the ring 30, which can also facilitate keeping the main body 20 in a folded position.
[0067] Thanks to the invention, the jewellery article 100 can be presented in the interchangeable form known as "3 in 1" of a bracelet, a necklace or a hair clip.
[0068] The main body 20 can be wrapped around a wrist, neck, ankle, or lock of hair, and held in a closed position by the clip 10 so as to form a loop, the clip 10 being able to pinch the main body 20 at different points on it, so as to be able to modify the length of the loop.
[0069] Preferably, in the closed position, the clamp 10 has a cylindrical, ovoid, or polyhedral shape and is free of sharp edges.
