Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Device for fixing at least one tube against a rod, for example a threaded rod or a rod of reinforced concrete reinforcement Technical field
[0001] The invention relates to the field of providing equipment for plumbers, electricians, or other craftsmen, requiring at least one tube or sheath to be fixed against reinforced concrete reinforcement.
[0002] More broadly, the invention finds an advantageous application when it is a question of fixing at least one tube along a rod, for example a threaded rod or a rod of reinforcement. Prior art
[0003] In the building sector, it is common to want to fix tubes for domestic hot water or sheaths for the passage of electrical cables, along reinforcement or welded mesh of reinforced concrete.
[0004] The reinforcement is in the form of a metal frame made up of crossed steel rods welded at the mesh points.
[0005] To do this, document FR2535008 is known, which describes a support clip intended for underfloor heating installations. This support clip is used to fix tubes carrying the heat transfer fluid to a trellis supported by a supporting slab in the underfloor heating system.
[0006] Each support clip comprises a base with a groove for receiving a section of mesh. Above the base is a resilient stapling portion, designed to retain the tube. This stapling portion can take different forms, such as hoops with or without locking.
[0007] In the underfloor heating system of buildings, the tube carrying the heat transfer fluid is held perpendicular to the mesh by the support clips. The support clips can be placed at will on the mesh to fix the same tube in a parallel manner.
[0008] However, this document teaches that support clips cannot be placed between two parallel trellis sections, which limits the possibility of placing tubes parallel to a distance less than that between two parallel trellis sections.
[0009] This document solves this problem by proposing a support clip whose stapling part extends parallel to the longitudinal direction of the groove. This support clip has two opposite legs, one with a male element and the other with a female element conjugate with the male element.
[0010] Thanks to this design, the tubes can be arranged parallel to each other perpendicular to the trellis section, even at a distance less than the side of the trellis mesh. The support clips cooperate with each other by their male and female elements, thus holding the intermediate support clips in place and preventing them from tilting thanks to those located at the crossing points of the trellis.
[0011] Also known is document FR2728061 which describes a fixing clip for the heating pipes of an underfloor heating installation. This clip can be engaged on bars of a welded mesh thanks to a slot open at the bottom and has a hollow at the top to receive the pipes.
[0012] This device has an anchor ring with opposing recesses and hole-like openings, covered by spring-loaded latches which can tilt to allow entry of a trellis bar.
[0013] However, the design of these devices is complex and the costs are multiplied when it comes to fixing several parallel tubes.
[0014] Furthermore, these constructions are not suitable when it comes to fixing a tube along a threaded rod for example. Statement of the invention
[0015] One of the aims of the invention is therefore to remedy the problems of the prior art by providing a device for fixing a pipe which is versatile to allow the fixing of the pipe both against a threaded rod and against a rod of reinforcement for reinforced concrete.
[0016] Another objective is to provide such a device whose design is simple, while having an optimal hold against the rod to avoid movements of the tube.
[0017] Another objective is to be able to fix several tubes in parallel, without increasing the cost of the installation.
[0018] For this purpose, a fixing device has been developed designed to fix a pipe against a rod, such as a threaded rod or a rod used in reinforcement for reinforced concrete. The device is formed from a single piece, which gives it great simplicity of design and assembly.
[0019] The fixing device comprises two C-shaped parts connected by a tab. The C-shaped parts are coaxial and spaced apart from each other, with a distance corresponding at least to the diameter of the rod. Each C-shaped part has a diameter and an opening adapted to allow the rod to pass through. The openings of the two C-shaped parts are opposite each other, which allows the C-shaped parts to be locked onto the rod by performing a simple quarter-turn movement after engaging the rod between the two parts.
[0020] To ensure a secure hold of the pipe perpendicular to the rod, the fixing device comprises at least one means for snapping the tube, extending orthogonally to the C-shaped parts. This snapping means is open in a direction opposite to the C-shaped parts, which makes it possible to easily snap the tube orthogonally to the rod once the C-shaped parts are locked onto the rod.
[0021] This device is versatile in that it allows a pipe to be fixed both against a threaded rod and against a rod of reinforced concrete reinforcement.
[0022] In an advantageous variant, the C-shaped parts are provided with longitudinal ribs arranged on their internal face, also called ridges, which makes it possible to exert pressure on the rod and thus to maximize the locking force between the device and the rod, which prevents the device from rotating around the rod.
[0023] The tab that connects the C-shaped parts may include a rib, located in the space between the C-shaped parts, which has two possible configurations. When transverse, this rib engages in a thread of the rod if the latter is threaded, thus allowing the position of the device to be adjusted along the rod by screwing / unscrewing the device. When longitudinal, the rib exerts pressure on the thread for a similar position adjustment.
[0024] The tube snap-on means preferably consists of two elastic branches forming a C-shaped opening open upwards, as opposed to the C-shaped portions for locking onto the rod which are towards the bottom of the device, but open laterally. The ends of the elastic branches are preferably curved inwards to come into contact with the tube, which ensures a firm hold of the snap-on tube and allows it to adapt to different tube sizes.
[0025] In some cases, the tube may be an electrical sheath or have transverse grooves or splines, and a rib is therefore provided on the internal face of the elastic branches to engage in this transverse groove and guarantee secure fixing of the tube, in particular axially.
[0026] Finally, the device may comprise several snap-fastening means positioned side by side, which makes it possible to simultaneously fix at least two parallel tubes, thus offering increased versatility in applications where several tubes must be held in place, without increasing the cost of a device.
[0027] Thanks to its one-piece design, its secure locking capabilities and its adaptability to different configurations of tubes and rods, the fastening device according to the invention represents a practical and efficient solution for the fastening of pipes in various industrial and construction applications. Brief description of the drawings
[0028] [Fig. 1] is a perspective view of a first embodiment of the device according to the invention.
[0029] [Fig.2] is a side view of another embodiment of the device, incorporating ribs.
[0030] [Fig.3] illustrates a view similar to that of [Fig.2], the device comprising two ways of snapping tubes. Detailed description of the invention
[0031] With reference to Figures 1 to 3, the invention relates to a fixing device (1), designed to fix a pipe against a rod, such as a threaded rod or a rod of reinforced concrete reinforcement.
[0032] It is formed from a single piece, comprising two C-shaped parts (2) connected by a tab (3) or lug. The C-shaped parts (2) are coaxial and spaced from each other by a distance corresponding at least to the diameter of the rod. In practice, the parts (2) are in the form of laterally open sheaths for the engagement of the rod.
[0033] Each C-shaped part (2) has a diameter and an opening adapted to allow the passage of the rod. The openings of the two C-shaped parts (2) are opposite each other, allowing locking of the C-shaped parts (2) on the rod by a quarter-turn movement after engagement of the rod between the two parts (2).
[0034] The fixing device (1) is also provided with at least one means (4) for snapping the tube, and preferably two, each composed of two elastic branches (4a) defining an upwardly open C-shape. The ends of the elastic branches (4a) are curved inwards to come into contact with the tube, thus ensuring a firm hold of the snapped tube and allowing it to adapt to different tube sizes.
[0035] To maximize the locking force, the C-shaped parts (2) have longitudinal ribs (5) provided on their internal face intended to be in contact with the rod, in order to maximize the locking effect around the rod and prevent rotation or axial displacement of the device on the rod.
[0036] The tab (3) connecting the C-shaped parts (2) may comprise a rib (6) arranged in the space between the C-shaped parts (2), see [Fig.2]. Depending on its configuration, this rib (6) may be transverse and engage in a thread of the rod when the latter is threaded, or longitudinal, as illustrated, and exert pressure on said thread to allow the position of the device (1) to be adjusted along the rod by screwing / unscrewing the device (1).
[0037] In certain situations, where the tube is an electrical sheath or has transverse grooves or splines, and with reference to [Fig.2], a complementary rib (7) may be provided on the internal face along the elastic branches (4a) of the snap-fastening means (4) to engage in this groove, thus ensuring axial and secure retention of the tube.
[0038] [Fig.3] illustrates a fixing device (1) comprising two snap-fastening means (4) positioned side by side, allowing at least two parallel tubes to be fixed at the same time, thus providing increased versatility in applications where several tubes must be held in place.
[0039] In order to make the device more solid, the tab (3) has a stiffening rib (3a) connecting the two snap-fastening means (4).
[0040] In conclusion, the fastening device according to the invention offers a practical and effective solution for fixing pipes in various industrial and construction applications. Its one-piece design, secure locking mechanism and adaptability to different tube and rod configurations make it a versatile and easy-to-use device for construction and industry professionals.
