Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Fixing device configured to secure electrical equipment to a wall.
[0001] The present invention relates to a fastening device configured to secure electrical equipment to a wall.
[0002] Known fixing devices can, for example, allow a camera to be attached quickly and reversibly to a wall by means of a magnet exerting an attractive magnetic force when this magnet is arranged opposite a metallic support, such as a stand, or opposite a wall plate attached to the wall.
[0003] In order to be able to dismantle or replace the camera, an operator must exert a pulling force perpendicular to the wall, which requires the use of a small magnet configured only to hold the camera in position on the wall.
[0004] In addition, as described in document CN217928180U, it is also known that there are fixing devices for electrical equipment, such as a smartphone, comprising a support plate provided with magnetic elements and a sliding counter-plate also provided with magnetic elements allowing reversible fastening of the two plates.
[0005] In this case, two lateral tabs each slide in a vertical groove, thus mechanically preventing translational movements along two directions perpendicular to each other.
[0006] The present invention then aims to provide a fixing device of simple design allowing to provide a degree of mobility in translation parallel to the wall, a secure fixing of an electrical equipment on a wall and an automatic detachment under certain predetermined conditions.
[0007] The invention thus relates to a fixing device configured to secure electrical equipment to a wall, the fixing device comprising: - a wall plate intended to be secured to the wall, - a counter-plate capable of supporting the electrical equipment, the counter-plate having at least one degree of translational mobility along an elevational direction Z relative to the wall plate, - at least two magnets allowing reversible attachment of the backplate to the wall plate.
[0008] This device is remarkable in that, on the one hand, said at least two magnets comprise: - at least one retaining magnet arranged on an inner face of the counter- plate, - at least one upper guide magnet arranged on the inner face and near a first edge of the backing plate, said at least one upper guide magnet being configured to participate in a translational guidance of the backing plate along the Z-axis elevation direction relative to the wall plate between an intermediate position and a fixing position and vice versa,
[0009] and, on the other hand, in that the wall plate has a detachment recess capable of suppressing a magnetic attraction force generated by said at least one retaining magnet when the counter plate is arranged in the intermediate position said at least one retaining magnet being arranged opposite the detachment recess in a direction X perpendicular to the elevation direction Z.
[0010] In other words, the specific wall plate of the fixing device according to the invention allows the counter-plate to move freely in translation, particularly between two distinct positions. In the intermediate position, only one or more upper guide magnets provide a magnetic attraction force.
[0011] However, the magnetic attraction force generated by the upper guide magnet(s) is insufficient to hold the counter plate in position relative to the wall plate when the electrical equipment is present. Furthermore, this magnetic attraction force generated by the upper guide magnet(s) together may be less than the magnetic attraction force generated by the retaining magnet(s) together.
[0012] The expression "internal face" refers to a face of the backplate intended to be arranged opposite the wall plate, as opposed to an external face intended to be arranged opposite an external environment.
[0013] The expression "near a first edge" means that the upper guide magnet(s) are positioned in a first zone of the counter plate separated from a second zone by a median plane of the counter plate perpendicular to the Z elevation direction.
[0014] The upper guide magnet(s) participate in the translational guidance and thus make it possible not to use complex complementary shapes such as grooves or slots.
[0015] Furthermore, an operator can come and position the counter plate in its intermediate position and then support the counter plate and the electrical equipment.
[0016] Once the electrical equipment is connected, the operator moves the counter plate in translation relative to the wall plate along the Z-axis elevation direction until it reaches the fixing position in which the retaining magnet(s) are opposite a portion of the wall plate made of magnetic material.
[0017] Conversely, to detach the electrical equipment from the wall, an operator can apply a pulling force to move the backing plate translationally relative to the wall plate from the fixing position to the intermediate position. Once the retaining magnet(s) are aligned with the release recess, the magnetic attraction force generated by the retaining magnet(s) is canceled out, and the magnetic attraction force generated by the upper guide magnet(s) no longer eliminates the translational degree of freedom of the backing plate relative to the wall plate along the X direction.
[0018] The counter plate can then be tilted relative to the wall plate and arranged in a detached position.
[0019] Advantageously, the counter plate may have a U-shaped form, the counter plate having a central portion suitable for supporting the electrical equipment and two parallel flaps cooperating with lateral fields of the wall plate, the two flaps participating in the translational guidance along the Z-elevation direction of the counter plate relative to the wall plate.
[0020] Such a U-shaped form makes it possible to eliminate one degree of freedom in translation of the counter plate relative to the wall plate along another direction Y perpendicular to the X and Z directions, this direction Y being perpendicular to two planes in which the two flaps are respectively inscribed.
[0021] In practice, said at least two magnets may include at least one lower guide magnet arranged on the inner face and near a second edge of the counter plate, the second edge being opposite the first edge in the Z elevation direction, said at least one lower guide magnet being configured to participate in the translational guidance of the counter plate in the Z elevation direction relative to the wall plate, said at least one lower guide magnet being separate from said at least one retaining magnet and said at least one upper guide magnet.
[0022] In other words, the lower guide magnet(s) can participate, together with the upper guide magnet(s), in suppressing the translational degree of freedom of the counter plate relative to the wall plate along the first substantially horizontal direction.
[0023] The expression "near a second edge" means that the lower guide magnet(s) are positioned in the second zone of the counter plate and not in the first zone containing the upper guide magnet(s).
[0024] Furthermore, once the counter plate is in the intermediate position, the lower guide magnet(s) are no longer aligned with the wall plate. The magnetic attraction force generated by the lower guide magnet(s) is canceled out and no longer allows to eliminate the translational degree of freedom of the counter plate relative to the wall plate along the X direction. In the intermediate position, the counter plate can then be detached from the wall plate automatically under the effect of gravitational force in the presence of electrical equipment.
[0025] Furthermore, said at least two magnets may have different shapes or sizes to adapt their magnetic attraction force. For example, the holding magnet(s) may have a first cylindrical shape with a circular base having a first diameter.
[0026] The lower guide magnet(s) and the upper guide magnet(s) may have a second cylindrical shape with a circular base having a second diameter smaller than the first diameter.
[0027] These magnets can in particular be formed with alloys based on Iron, Cobalt or Nickel or with an alloy of Neodymium, Iron and Boron.
[0028] In addition, several embodiment examples can be considered for making the wall plate.
[0029] In practice, the wall plate can either be formed from a magnetic material, or coated with an external layer formed from a magnetic material.
[0030] In the first case, the wall plate is monolithic and can, for example, be obtained by a machining process, hot or cold forming, or even by molding.
[0031] Such a magnetic material may in particular be chosen from the group comprising ferrous metals, iron, iron alloys, steels and iron oxides.
[0032] In the second case, the wall plate can be coated with an external layer formed from a magnetic material.
[0033] In this second example, the outer layer can be attached to a rigid support, for example by gluing, and can at least partially cover areas of this rigid support intended to face the magnets arranged on the inner face of the counter plate.
[0034] Thus, only this outer layer can in particular be chosen from the group comprising ferrous metals, iron, iron alloys, steels and iron oxides.
[0035] Furthermore, said at least one retaining magnet can be dimensioned to hold the counter plate in the fixing position as long as a force applied downwards in the elevation direction Z on the counter plate is less than a predetermined threshold, the predetermined threshold being between 100 N (Newton) and 1000 N (Newton), the counter plate moving from the fixing position to the intermediate position when the applied force is greater than the predetermined threshold.
[0036] Thus, the magnetic force generated by the holding magnet(s) can be such that the force required to move the counter plate from the fixing position is greater than or equal to, for example, 400 N (newtons). The counter plate can be held The counterplate is held in its fixed position by the retaining magnet(s) unless, for example, a mass of 40 kg (kilograms) or more is suspended from the electrical equipment. A tensile force along the Z-axis is then transmitted to the counterplate. Such a mass, capable of moving the counterplate downwards along the Z-axis, can thus correspond to the mass of a person. The invention therefore prevents an individual from becoming entangled in the system.
[0037] Consequently, the predetermined threshold of the force applied along an elevation direction can be, for example, equal to 400 N.
[0038] Furthermore, as long as the predetermined threshold is not exceeded, the magnetic attraction force generated by said at least one retaining magnet thus makes it possible to eliminate at least two translational degrees of freedom of the counter plate with respect to the wall plate along the elevation direction Z and along the direction X.
[0039] When the predetermined threshold is exceeded, the magnetic attraction force generated simultaneously by the retaining magnet(s) and the upper guide magnet(s) no longer allows the translational degree of freedom of the counter plate relative to the wall plate in the Z elevation direction but still eliminates the degree of freedom in the X direction. The counter plate then moves in translation in the Z elevation direction towards the intermediate position.
[0040] Once the retaining magnet(s) are in relation to the release recess, the magnetic attraction force generated by the retaining magnet(s) is canceled out and the magnetic attraction force generated by the upper guide magnet(s) no longer allows the translational degree of freedom of the counter plate relative to the wall plate in the X direction to be eliminated.
[0041] Such an arrangement may be particularly useful for applications in a prison environment. Indeed, the retaining magnet(s) can be sized to generate an attractive magnetic force intended to prevent a person from using the electrical equipment to pull themselves up onto a wall, or even to climb a wall and escape or enter a closed enclosure such as a prison.
[0042] Advantageously, the wall plate may include a protective channel suitable for receiving an electrical cable connected to the electrical equipment, the protective channel opening on one side with the dropout recess and on the other side with an environment outside the wall plate.
[0043] Such a protective channel can thus extend in a straight line and open the recessed area to the external environment. This protective channel can, for example, be made by a stamping process on a sheet metal forming a flat part of the wall plate intended to come into contact with the wall.
[0044] Alternatively, the protective channel can form a rod having a profile in U. In this case, the protective channel can be added and secured with a sheet forming a flat part of the wall plate.
[0045] An electrical cable can then be positioned in the protective channel and prevents the counter plate from touching it when the counter plate is put in place or removed from the wall plate by tilting and / or sliding.
[0046] In practice, the protective channel can extend outside a lateral field of the wall plate.
[0047] In other words, the protective channel can protrude from the overall shape of the wall plate and form a projection. Such an arrangement thus makes it possible to protect the electrical cable even in the event of tilting and separation of the backing plate from the wall plate.
[0048] According to an advantageous example, said at least one upper guide magnet may comprise a first upper guide magnet and a second upper guide magnet, said at least one retaining magnet being arranged between the first upper guide magnet and the second upper guide magnet.
[0049] In other words, the first upper guide magnet and the second upper guide magnet can be arranged symmetrically on either side of the retaining magnet(s). Furthermore, the counter plate can also include another median plane perpendicular to the Y direction, with the first upper guide magnet and the second upper guide magnet being arranged symmetrically on either side of this median plane perpendicular to the Y direction to balance the magnetic attraction force generated by all the guide magnets.
[0050] In practice, said at least one retaining magnet may comprise a first retaining magnet and a second retaining magnet juxtaposed next to each other.
[0051] Consequently, the first retaining magnet and the second retaining magnet can be arranged symmetrically on either side of the median plane perpendicular to the Y direction of the counter plate to balance the magnetic attraction force generated by the set of retaining magnets.
[0052] Advantageously, the detachment recess may have an elongated shape with a width greater than or equal to a transverse dimension occupied by the first retaining magnet and the second retaining magnet.
[0053] Thus, when the first and second retaining magnets are positioned opposite the release recess, they are at least partially inscribed within the elongated shape of the release recess. This elongated shape can also be arranged symmetrically on either side of another median plane perpendicular to the Y direction of the wall plate.

[0060]
[0061] The following description includes illustrative examples of implementation, with reference to the attached figures which represent: - Fig. 1, a perspective view of a fastening device according to the invention, - [Fig. 2], a magnified perspective view of the fastening device according to the [Fig. 1], according to the invention, - [Fig. 3], a perspective view of a counterplate, in accordance with the invention, - [Fig. 4], a perspective view of a wall plaque, in accordance with the invention, - [Fig. 5], a perspective view of the mounted fastening device, in accordance with the invention, - [Fig. 6], a perspective view of the fastening device in progress dismantling, in accordance with the invention, and - [Fig. 7], a perspective view of the disassembled fastening device, in accordance with the invention. Elements present in several separate figures are assigned a single reference. We note that three directions X, Y and Z orthogonal to each other are represented in figures 1 and 2. The X direction is said to be longitudinal insofar as it extends perpendicularly with respect to a wall 3 onto which the fastening device 1 is suitable for attachment. The term "thickness" refers to a longitudinal dimension of the device along this longitudinal direction X. Another direction Y is called transverse and extends parallel to the wall 3 onto which the fixing device 1 is intended to be attached. The term "width" refers to a transverse dimension of the fixing device 1 along this transverse direction. Finally, a third direction, Z, is called the elevation direction and corresponds to the height dimensions of the structures described. The term "height" then refers to an elevation dimension of the fastening device 1 along this elevation direction Z. Furthermore, as shown in [Fig.1], the fixing device 1 allows an electrical equipment 2 to be secured to a wall 3. Such electrical equipment can be chosen from the group comprising a camera, a loudspeaker, an antenna, a motion detector, a light fixture or a technical box. As shown in more detail in [Fig. 2] without the electrical equipment 2, this fixing device 1 comprises a wall plate 4 intended to be secured to the wall 3. Fastening means, such as screws or studs and nuts allow, for example, keeping the wall plate 4 stationary relative to the wall 3.
[0062] The fixing device 1 also includes a counter plate 5 supporting the electrical equipment 2. Such a counter plate 5 thus at least partially overlaps the wall plate 4 when the fixing device 1 is mounted on a wall 3.
[0063] As shown in [Fig.3], the fixing device 1 includes at least two magnets 61, 62, 71-74 allowing reversible attachment of the counter plate 5 with the wall plate 4.
[0064] More specifically, these at least two magnets comprise at least one retaining magnet 61, 62 and at least one upper guiding magnet 71, 72 arranged on an inner face 6 of the counter plate 5.
[0065] Such retaining magnet(s) 61, 62 and upper guiding magnet(s) 71, 72 are further arranged near a first edge 7 of the counter plate 5. Such a first edge 7 of the counter plate 5 can be defined as an upper edge opposite a second edge 8 defined as a lower edge in the Z elevation direction. The first edge 7 is thus arranged above the second edge 8 in the Z elevation direction.
[0066] Furthermore, this or these retaining magnets 61, 62 are dimensioned to hold the counter plate 5 in a fixed position PI, shown in [Fig. 5], as long as a force F applied downwards in the elevation direction Z on the counter plate 5 is less than a predetermined threshold. For example, as long as the applied force is less than the weight of a physical person.
[0067] On the other hand, if the force F applied to the counter plate 5 is greater than the predetermined threshold, the counter plate 5 then moves from the fixing position PI to an intermediate position P2 shown in [Fig.6].
[0068] In addition, translational guidance of the counter plate 5 relative to the wall plate 4 is achieved by means of the upper guide magnet(s) 71, 72 dimensioned to keep the counter plate 5 parallel to the wall plate 4 during a movement from the fixing position PI to the intermediate position P2 and vice versa.
[0069] The upper guide magnet(s) 71, 72 are also separate from the retaining magnet(s) 61, 62 and may have different shapes to generate different magnetic attraction forces. The magnetic attraction force generated by the retaining magnet(s) 61, 62 is, for example, chosen to be greater than the magnetic attraction force generated by the upper guide magnet(s) 71, 72.
[0070] As shown, these upper guide magnets 71, 72 may include actually a first upper guide magnet 71 and a second upper guide magnet 72 arranged on either side of a median plane Pmed perpendicular to the Y direction. Along the Y direction, the retaining magnet(s) 61, 62 are then arranged between the first upper guide magnet 71 and the second upper guide magnet 72.
[0071] Similarly, the retaining magnets 61, 62 may comprise a first retaining magnet 61 and a second retaining magnet 62 juxtaposed next to each other along the Y direction.
[0072] The first retaining magnet 61 and the second retaining magnet 62 and respectively the first upper guide magnet 71 and the second upper guide magnet 72 can advantageously be arranged symmetrically with respect to the median plane Pmed.
[0073] Furthermore, these at least two magnets may advantageously also include at least one lower guide magnet 73, 74 arranged on the inner face 6 of the counter plate 5 and near the lower edge 8 of this counter plate 5.
[0074] Like the upper guide magnet(s) 71, 72, this lower guide magnet(s) 73, 74 are sized to maintain the counter plate 5 parallel to the wall plate 4 during movement from the intermediate position P2 to the fixing position PI, and vice versa. This lower guide magnet(s) 73, 74 are further separated from the retaining magnet(s) 61, 62 and from the upper guide magnet(s) 71, 72.
[0075] The lower guide magnets 73, 74 may then comprise a first lower guide magnet 73 and a second lower guide magnet 74 arranged symmetrically with respect to the median plane Pmed. As shown in [Fig. 3], the inner face 6 of the counter plate 5 may have the shape of a four-cornered quadrilateral. The first upper guide magnet 71, the second upper guide magnet 72, the first lower guide magnet 73, and the second lower guide magnet 74 may then be arranged respectively near the four corners of this inner face 6.
[0076] Thus, thanks to the various upper guide magnets 71, 72 and lower guide magnets 73, 74, the degree of mobility along the X direction can be eliminated between the counter plate 5 and the wall plate 4 between the intermediate position P2 and the fixing position PI, and vice versa.
[0077] The counter plate 5 then has a degree of translational mobility along the elevational direction Z relative to the wall plate 4. The counter plate 5 is thus translationally mobile relative to the wall plate 4 between the intermediate position P2 and the fixing position PL
[0078] To achieve this, the counter plate 5 may have a U-shaped form. The counter plate 5 then comprises a central portion 9, possibly substantially flat, supporting the electrical equipment 2 and two parallel flaps 12, 13 cooperating with lateral fields 14, 15 of the wall plate 4 as shown in [Fig.4].
[0079] The two flaps 12, 13 thus make it possible to eliminate the degree of freedom in translation along the Y direction between the wall plate 4 and the counter plate 5. The two flaps 12, 13 cooperating with the lateral fields 14, 15 then participate in the translational guidance along the Z elevation direction of the counter plate 5 relative to the wall plate 4.
[0080] Such an arrangement is thus simple to implement, for example, by folding the backing plate 5 and using parallel, planar lateral fields 14, 15. Such a fastening device 1 then comprises parts of simple geometry and does not require the use of grooves or slots of complementary shapes to eliminate degrees of freedom along the X and Y directions.
[0081] Furthermore, such a wall plate 4 has a detachment recess 10 suitable for suppressing a magnetic attraction force generated by the retaining magnet(s) 61, 62 when the counter plate 5 is arranged in the intermediate position P2.
[0082] In addition, several embodiment examples can be considered for making the wall plate 4.
[0083] According to a first embodiment, the wall plate 4 can be formed in a magnetic material.
[0084] According to this first example, the wall plate 4 is then monolithic and can, for example, be obtained by a machining process, hot or cold forming, or even by molding.
[0085] Such a magnetic material for the wall plate 4 can in particular be chosen from the group comprising ferrous metals, iron, iron alloys, steels and iron oxides.
[0086] According to a second embodiment, the wall plate 4 can be coated with an external layer formed in a magnetic material.
[0087] In this second example, the outer layer can be attached to a rigid support, for example by gluing, and can at least partially cover areas of this rigid support intended to face the magnets 61, 62, 71-74 arranged on the inner face 6 of the counter plate 5.
[0088] Thus, only this outer layer can in particular be chosen from the group comprising ferrous metals, iron, iron alloys, steels and iron oxides.
[0089] Such a detachment recess 10 may have an elongated, or even rectangular, shape, with a width greater than or equal to a transverse dimension along the Y direction occupied by the first retaining magnet 61 and the second magnet of maintenance 62.
[0090] Thus, when the first retaining magnet 61 and the second retaining magnet 62 have a cylindrical shape with a circular base having respectively a first diameter and a second diameter, the width of the elongated shape forming the detachment recess 10 is greater than or equal to the sum of the first and second diameters.
[0091] In addition, the first upper guide magnet 71, the first retaining magnet 61 and the second retaining magnet 62 and the second upper guide magnet 72 can advantageously be aligned along the Y direction.
[0092] Furthermore, when the counter plate 5 is slid into the intermediate position P2 parallel to the wall plate 4, the magnetic attraction force generated by the first retaining magnet 61 and the second retaining magnet 62 is effectively eliminated due to the presence of the offset recess 10 arranged opposite it. The counter plate 5 can thus be easily tilted to reach an offset position P3 shown in [Fig. 7].
[0093] Furthermore, as shown in [Fig.4], the wall plate 4 may include a protective channel 16 suitable for receiving an electrical cable intended to be connected to the electrical equipment 2. Such a protective channel 16 cooperates with, on the one hand, the drop recess 10 and, on the other hand, an external environment EXT arranged outside an external volume delimiting the wall plate 4, as opposed to the drop recess arranged inside this external volume delimiting the wall plate 4.
[0094] Such a protective channel 16 can thus extend parallel to the elevation direction Z outside a lateral field 17 of the wall plate 4.
[0095] Naturally, the present invention is subject to numerous variations in its implementation. Although several embodiments have been described, it is understood that it is not conceivable to exhaustively identify all possible embodiments. It is, of course, conceivable to replace a described means with an equivalent means without departing from the scope of the present invention.
