Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: ELECTRIC OR HYBRID MOTOR VEHICLE COMPRISING A HOUSING CAPABLE OF HOLDING AN ELECTRIC CHARGING GUN
[0001] The invention relates to electric or hybrid motor vehicles, and more particularly to the electric charging plugs of these vehicles.
[0002] Prior art patent application DE102017203327 is known, describing an arrangement of an electric charging cable for an electric or hybrid motor vehicle. The invention comprises a charging cable and a cable holder adapted to receive said charging cable. The charging cable includes a charging gun and a cable. The cable holder has a housing adapted to pivot between a rest position and a retracted position. A sensor is present inside said holder to detect the presence of said charging cable. However, said cable holder is not described in the patent application. Furthermore, no mention is made of a locking element preventing movement of said charging cable when said vehicle is in motion.Indeed, when the vehicle is in motion, the charging cable, and more specifically the charging gun, moves due to vibrations caused by the vehicle's movement if it is not properly secured. These vibrations can damage both the cable and its holder. Furthermore, this generates noise, which is disturbing for the vehicle's occupants.
[0003] The objective of the present invention is to remedy these drawbacks by providing a housing suitable for properly holding said reloading gun.
[0004] To achieve this objective, the invention proposes an electric or hybrid motor vehicle comprising a housing, a hatch and an electric charging gun including a hook said hatch being able to have an open position in which said housing is accessible and a closed position in which said housing is inaccessible, said housing being configured to receive said electric charging gun, characterized in that said housing includes a fixing element able to receive said hook and a locking element able to move, said locking element being configured to lock said gun when said hatch is in the closed position, said locking element being configured to unlock said gun when said hatch is in the open position, said fixing element having a form complementary to said hook.
[0005] Thanks to the invention, the reloading gun is stored in the housing so that the gun cannot move. Thus, the occupants of the vehicle are not disturbed by the noise of the gun generated by vibrations caused by the road.
[0006] Preferably, said locking element comprises a cam and a spring.
[0007] Preferably, said cam has a semi-circular shape.
[0008] Advantageously, said fastening element includes a recess.
[0009] The recess allows the insertion of said hook into the fastening element.
[0010] Advantageously, said hook comprises a first straight part having a first axis and a second straight part having a second axis, said first part being able to fit into said recess, said first axis and said second axis forming an angle between 60° and 120°.
[0011] Preferably, said angle is between 80° and 100°.
[0012] Preferably, said hook has a first flat surface, said fixing element has a second flat surface, said first flat surface and said second flat surface being configured to come into contact when said hatch is in the closed position.
[0013] Advantageously, said housing has a parallelepiped shape, said housing having a width between 5 cm and 15 cm and a depth between 2 cm and 10 cm.
[0014] This width allows for easy insertion of said pistol into said housing, without unduly encumbering said vehicle. Such a depth allows said pistol to be held firmly while facilitating the arrangement of said housing in said vehicle.
[0015] Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for locking an electric charging gun in a housing of an electric or hybrid motor vehicle as previously described, said method comprising the following steps: - a step of inserting said pistol into said housing; - a step of attaching said hook to said fastening element; - a locking step by pivoting said locking element against said hook.
[0016] The invention will be further detailed by describing non-limiting embodiments, and based on the accompanying figures illustrating variants of the invention, in which: - [Fig.1] schematically illustrates a cross-sectional view of a housing comprising an electric charging gun in a locked position for an electric or hybrid motor vehicle according to an embodiment of the invention; - [Fig. 2] schematically illustrates, in perspective, a detailed view of the pistol of electrical recharging of the [Fig.l]; - [Fig.3] schematically illustrates, in the form of a flowchart, a process locking of an electric charging gun in a housing of an electric or hybrid motor vehicle according to the invention.
[0017] Figure 1 schematically illustrates a housing 1 for storing a charging gun 2 for an electric or hybrid motor vehicle. The vehicle also has a hatch that can be in an open and a closed position. When the hatch is open, the housing 1 is accessible. When the hatch is closed, the housing 1 is inaccessible. The housing 1 contains the charging gun 2. To charge a motor vehicle, a charging cable is required, at the end of which is the charging gun 2, which allows it to be plugged into a charging socket on the vehicle. There are different types of charging sockets depending on the charging method used for the vehicle. Indeed, charging an electric or hybrid vehicle can be carried out using different charging methods.Mode 2 allows for slow charging of the vehicle using alternating current (AC) via a standard household outlet. Mode 3, faster than Mode 2, charges the vehicle using a charging cable compatible with a Type 2 charging port. This charging cable connects to a charging station that delivers AC power. Unlike a standard household outlet, a charging station incorporates features for monitoring, safety, regulation, and scheduling the vehicle's charging process. Mode 4 can be implemented using a charging station that delivers direct current (DC) at a very high power level. This allows for very rapid vehicle charging. For Mode 4 charging, the vehicle must have a charging port compatible with a charging cable equipped with special connectors. For each reloading method, the electrical reloading socket is different, and therefore the pistol is configured to be adapted to a specific reloading method. In the context of the invention, said electrical reloading pistol is able to be inserted into a type 2, type 3, or type 4 reloading socket. The pistol 2 includes a hook 3. The housing 1 includes a fastening element 4 adapted to receive said hook 3. Indeed, said fastening element 4 has a shape complementary to said hook 3. The fastening element 4 includes a recess for receiving said hook 3. Furthermore, the housing 1 includes a locking element 5. The locking element 5 is able to move from a locked position to an unlocked position and vice versa. Preferably, said locking element 5 includes a cam and a spring. The cam is a part that transforms one movement into another movement. In this case, the said drug. The movement of said hook 3 within said fastening element 4 is transformed by a tilting motion in order to make contact with said hook 3. In [Fig. 1], said hatch is in the closed position. Said spring holds said cam so that said hook 3 is locked and said gun 2 is firmly held. The hook 3 comprises a first straight portion and a second straight portion. The first portion is adapted to fit into said fastening element 4. The first portion has a first longitudinal axis A. The second portion has a second longitudinal axis B. The first axis A and the second axis B intersect at a point so as to form an angle between 60° and 120°, or even at an angle between 80° and 100°. Advantageously, said housing 1 has a width between 5 cm and 15 cm. The housing 1 has a depth between 2 cm and 10 cm.These dimensions are ideal for securing the pistol 2 without hindering the installation of the housing 1 in the vehicle. In this way, vibrations caused by the vehicle during movement will not affect the pistol 2. Consequently, no noise due to unwanted movement of the pistol 2 within the housing will disturb the occupant(s) of the vehicle.
[0018] Figure 2 schematically illustrates, in perspective, a detailed view of said hook 3 inserted into said fastening element 4. The locking element 5 is shown in its unlocked position, the hatch being open. The fastening element 4 is a semi-circular cam. Said hook comprises a first flat surface C. The fastening element 4 comprises a second flat surface D. When said hatch is in the closed position, the first flat surface C and the second flat surface D come into contact.
[0019] Figure 3 schematically illustrates, in the form of a flowchart, a method for locking the electric charging gun 2 in the compartment 1 of an electric or hybrid motor vehicle. During an insertion step E1, the gun 2 is inserted into the compartment 1 by a user so that the gun 2 is stored when the vehicle is not being charged. In this way, the gun 2 is always accessible should the vehicle need to be charged. Furthermore, it is protected by the compartment 1 to prevent damage to the gun 2. During an attachment step E2, the hook 3 is inserted into the fastening element 4. The gun 2 is thus attached to the compartment 1. During a locking step E3, the entry of the hook 3 into the fastening element 4 causes the locking element 5 to pivot. The locking element 5 is then brought into contact with said hook 3, so that said hook 3 can no longer come out of said fixing element 4. The locking step E3 provides additional security to the hooking of said hook 3 during the hooking step E2 so that said gun 2 cannot move in said housing 1.
