Abstract

Coupler for connecting a tool to an arm of a construction machine. The coupler (5) includes a housing (21) for receiving a coupling member (11) formed on the tool (1). A retention system (40) for the coupling member in the housing comprises: - a retaining member (100) mounted on the body and movable by the coupling member between an extended position, to retain the coupling member, and a retracted position; - a lever (200) mounted on the retaining member, movable between a locking position preventing the retaining member from moving to its retracted position, and a release position; - a return means (250) that actuates the lever to its locking position; - an unlocking means (500) controllable by an operator between an inactive position and an active position where the unlocking means and the lever can interact.
