Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Presentation module for a sales display, in particular for cosmetic products, with a base comprising at least one movable part
[0001] The present invention relates to a presentation module for a sales display, in particular for cosmetic products, the module comprising:
[0002] - a bottom defining an upper face extending perpendicular to a elevation direction defined by the module, and
[0003] - a grid adapted to be placed on the upper face and defining a plurality of orifices, the bottom and the first grid defining a plurality of housings intended to receive products to be presented.
[0004] The invention also relates to an assembly comprising at least one such module, and one or more other grids.
[0005] A cosmetic product is here advantageously a product as defined in EC Regulation No. 1023 / 2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council, dated November 30, 2009, relating to cosmetic products.
[0006] Sales displays usually comprise compartments, advantageously of predefined standard dimensions, in which presentation modules are placed. Each presentation module defines on its upper face housings in which the cosmetic products are placed. The upper face generally comprises, around the housings, prints for decorative or informative purposes. Each presentation module makes it possible to present the cosmetic products in a particular way, linked to the nature and arrangement of the housings, and to the prints. A presentation module is for example associated with a collection of cosmetic products
[0007] The advantage of presentation modules is that they can be changed easily and frequently, typically every one to three months, when you want to move from one type of presentation to another, for example if a collection of products has changed.
[0008] In a known type of presentation module is an injected plastic part, with a thickness of about 2.5 mm. Due to their structure, such modules have a "poor environmental rating", because they result in a possible waste of materials, harmful to the environment in general.
[0009] An aim of the invention is therefore to make it possible to provide a presentation module having an improved “environmental rating”, that is to say a presentation module whose use is more respectful of the environment.
[0010] To this end, the invention relates to a product presentation module, in particular cosmetics, including:
[0011] - a base comprising an injected or thermoformed plastic material, the base terminating an upper face extending perpendicular to an elevation direction defined by the module, and
[0012] - a first grid adapted to be placed on the upper face and defining a plurality of orifices, the bottom and the first grid defining a first plurality of housings intended to receive a first plurality of products to be presented,
[0013] wherein the bottom comprises a body, and at least a first part movable relative to the body between a first position, in which the bottom and the first grid define the first plurality of housings, and a second position, in which the bottom is intended to define with a second grid a second plurality of housings adapted to receive a second plurality of products to be presented, the second grid defining a second plurality of orifices and being intended to be placed on the upper face of the bottom.
[0014] According to other advantageous aspects of the invention, the module comprises one or more of the following characteristics, taken in isolation or in all technically possible combinations:
[0015] - the first part is mounted to be mobile in rotation on the body around a first axis between the first position and the second position;
[0016] - in the first axis is substantially orthogonal to the elevation direction;
[0017] - one face of the first part rests on the body in the first position; a another face of the first part rests on the body in the second position; and the first part is configured to move from the first position to the second position by a rotation of substantially 90° around the first axis;
[0018] - the module comprises a second part mounted mobile in rotation on the body around a second axis, independently of the first part, between a first position, and a second position, the first position and the second position of the second part defining, with the first position and the second position of the first part, at least four configurations of the bottom;
[0019] - the first part and the second part are structurally analogous to each other the other, and the first axis and the second axis are substantially parallel to each other;
[0020] - the body comprises a flat base extending substantially perpendicular to the elevation direction, and at least a first wedge defining a first surface for receiving the products, the first receiving surface being flat, inclined relative to the base, and substantially parallel to the first axis, the first receiving surface being adapted to serve as a support for a lower part of one of the products;
[0021] - the first part, when in the first position, defines a second receiving surface extending along a plane orthogonal to the first surface of reception, the first reception surface and the second reception surface extending respectively on either side of the first axis in a longitudinal direction substantially perpendicular to the elevation direction and to the first axis, the second reception surface being adapted to serve as a support for some of the products;
[0022] - the first part, when in the second position defines a row of successive cells in a transverse direction substantially parallel to the first axis, each of the cells having side walls parallel to a direction of reception of the products inclined relative to the base; and
[0023] - the cells comprise outer walls defining a plurality of dihedrons adapted to serve as support for some of the products.
[0024] The invention also relates to an assembly comprising:
[0025] - at least one module as described above, and
[0026] - at least one second grid, the bottom forming with the second grid a second plurality of housings adapted to receive a second plurality of products to be presented, the second grid defining a second plurality of orifices and being adapted to be placed on the upper face of the bottom.
[0027] The invention will appear more clearly on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of non-limiting example, and made with reference to the drawings in which:

[0036] With reference to [Fig.l], an assembly 10 according to the invention is described.
[0037] The assembly 10 is for example intended to be placed in a display stand (not shown).
[0038] The assembly 10 comprises a module 12 comprising a base 14, and a first grid 16 for presenting a first plurality of products 18, in particular cosmetics.
[0039] The assembly 10 also comprises a second grid 20, shown schematically in [Fig. 1] and more precisely in [Fig. 5], to present a second plurality of products 22 distinct from those of the first plurality.
[0040] In the example, the assembly 10 also comprises other grids 24, 26, 28 shown in FIGS. 6 to 8, in order to present other products 30, 32, 34.
[0041] The bottom 14 comprises a thermoformed or injected plastic material, and defines an upper face 36 extending perpendicular to an elevation direction V defined by the module. Advantageously, the bottom 14 is made of this thermoformed material.
[0042] Advantageously, the plastic material is a recycled material, and for example recyclable.
[0043] The elevation direction V is for example vertical when the module 12 is placed on a horizontal surface (not shown), advantageously in the display.
[0044] The bottom 14 comprises a body 38, and a first part 40 movable relative to the body between a first position (figures 1 and 2 in particular), in which the bottom 14 and the first grid 16 define a first plurality of housings 42 adapted to receive the first plurality of products 18, and a second position (figures 3 and 5 in particular), in which the bottom 14 and the second grid 20 define a second plurality of housings 44 ([Fig.5]) adapted to receive the second plurality of products 22.
[0045] The bottom 14 advantageously comprises a second part 46 movable relative to the body 38 between a first position (figures 1, 2) and a second position (lower half of [Fig. 4]). The first position and the second position of the second part 46 define, with the first position and the second position of the first part 40, at least four configurations of the bottom 14, shown in [Fig. 4].
[0046] Alternatively, the bottom 14 only comprises the first movable part 40 and can take at least two configurations corresponding to the first position and the second position of the first part.
[0047] In the example, as shown in Figures 1 and 7, the bottom 14 actually comprises two portions 14A, 14B separated from each other in a transverse direction T of the module 12 substantially perpendicular to the elevation direction V. Equivalently, it could be considered that two modules according to the invention have been shown in Figures 1 and 7, sharing the same grid.
[0048] The mass of the body 38 (of the bottom or of one of the portions forming the bottom) is for example between 30 and 50 g. Each of the first part 40 and of the second part 46 has a mass for example between 24 and 32 g.
[0049] The first grid 16 comprises a plate 48 made of plastic or cardboard, and is adapted to be placed on the upper face 36 of the bottom 14 and to define, with the bottom, a plurality of orifices 50 forming an entrance to the housings 42.
[0050] The second grid 20 is for example analogous to the first grid 16 from the point of view of composition, and defines a second plurality of orifices 54. The second grid 20 is adapted to be placed on the upper face 36 of the bottom 14.
[0051] The body 38 comprises, for example, a flat base 56 extending substantially perpendicular to the elevation direction V, and a first wedge 58 defining a first receiving surface 52 for the products 18. In the example, the body 38 comprises a second wedge 60 similar to the first wedge, and for example offset relative to the first wedge in a longitudinal direction L substantially perpendicular to the transverse direction T and to the elevation direction V.
[0052] The first receiving surface 52 is for example flat, inclined relative to the base 56, and substantially parallel to the first axis RL. The first receiving surface 52 can serve as a support for a lower part 62 of one of the products 18, as shown in [Fig.l].
[0053] For example, the first receiving surface is inclined by 35° to 45° relative to the base.
[0054] Each of the products 18 of the first plurality passes through, for example, one of the orifices 50 and rests on at least one surface defined by the bottom 14, for example the first reception surface 52 (figures 1 and 2).
[0055] The first part 40 is for example mounted to be able to rotate on the body 38 around a first axis RI between the first position and the second position.
[0056] A face 64 ([Fig.4]) of the first part 40 advantageously rests on the body 38 in the first position, and another face 66 of the first part advantageously rests on the body in the second position.
[0057] For example, the first portion 40 is configured to move from the first position to the second position by a rotation of substantially 90° around the first axis RI. In the example, the first portion 40 rests on the base 56, and the face 64 and the other face 66 of the first portion are substantially orthogonal to each other.
[0058] In the example, the second part 40 is mounted to be able to rotate on the body 38 around a second axis R2 between its first position and its second position, independently of the first part 40. In other words, the first part 40 and the second part 46 can pivot independently of one another.
[0059] According to variants not shown, the first part 40 and / or the second part 46 are mounted to move in translation on the body 38.
[0060] The first axis RI is for example substantially orthogonal to the elevation direction V.
[0061] The first axis RI and the second axis R2 are for example substantially parallel to each other, and advantageously substantially parallel to the transverse direction T.
[0062] Advantageously, the first axis RI and the second axis R2 are for example located in the longitudinal direction L substantially at a quarter and three-quarters (substantially at 25% and 75%) of the length of the body 38.
[0063] Advantageously, the first part 40 and the second part 46 are structurally analogous to each other, so only the first part 40 will be described below.
[0064] The first part 40, when it is in the first position, advantageously defines a second receiving surface 68 for the products to be presented, extending for example along a plane P ([Fig.4]) orthogonal to the first receiving surface 52.
[0065] For example, the first receiving surface 52 and the second receiving surface 68 extend respectively on either side of the first axis RI in the longitudinal direction L, when the first part is in its first position. The second receiving surface 68 is intended to serve as a support for some of the products.
[0066] For example, the second receiving surface 68 forms grooves 70 ([Fig.2]) or compartments adapted to hold the products 18 in a certain position relative to the bottom 14.
[0067] The first part 40, when it is in the second position, defines for example a row of cells 72 ([Fig.3]) successive in the transverse direction T, each of the cells having side walls 74 parallel to a receiving direction D of the products 18, the receiving direction D being advantageously inclined relative to the base.
[0068] The cells 72 comprise, for example, external walls 76 defining a plurality of dihedrons 78 intended to serve as upper supports for certain of the products.
[0069] In Figures 6 and 7, the first part 40 and the second part 46 are in their first position.
[0070] In [Fig. 6], the bottom 14 defines with the grid 24 a plurality of housings 80 for the products 30, which have for example a pot shape. The products 30 rest on the grid 24 and on the second receiving surface 68.
[0071] In [Fig.7], the bottom 14 defines with the grid 26 a plurality of housings 82 for the products 32, which are for example flat and square in shape. The products 32 rest on the grid 26 and on the second receiving surface 68. The grooves contribute to keeping the products 32 in a vertical position in each of the housings 82. In the example, another product 84 is placed flat on the grid 26.
[0072] In [Fig.5], the products 22 are received in the receiving direction D in the cells 72 located in the housings 44.
[0073] In [Fig.8], the first part 40 is in the second position. The second part 46 is in the first position, but does not serve to define housings in this example. The bottom 14 defines with the grid 28 a plurality of housings 86 for the products 34, which have for example an elongated cylindrical shape. The products 34, by a lever effect, rest on the dihedrons 78.
[0074] Thanks to the characteristics described above, the bottom 14 takes on different configurations which, with the first grid 20, the second grid 26 and possibly the other grids 24, 26, 28, makes it possible to define housings 42, 44, 80, 82, 86 adapted to the products 18, 22, 30, 32, 34 of different shapes. Thus, the same bottom 14 is used for different products. Only the grids 16, 20, 24, 26, 28, advantageously made of recycled plastic or cardboard, are replaced, which improves the “environmental rating” of the module 12.
