This invention discloses a segmented micro-foamed, low-float
fiber reinforced
polypropylene composite material with gradient-coated
glass fiber and its preparation method, belonging to the field of
polymer composite material technology. The
composite material comprises 60-70 parts PP resin, 30 parts gradient double-coated chopped
glass fiber, 0.5-1.0 parts two-component chemical
foaming agent, and appropriate additives. The gradient double-coated
glass fiber consists of an inner interfacial compatibility layer and an outer rheological adaptability
coating layer. The preparation method includes three steps: gradient glass
fiber coating, mixing and
granulation, and segmented injection molding. The segmented injection molding adopts a "high-pressure molding and foam suppression + instantaneous
pressure release and foaming" control method, resulting in a gradient structure with a dense, bubble-free surface and uniform micropores inside. This invention does not rely on anti-float
fiber masterbatch, fundamentally suppressing fiber floatation from both structural and process perspectives, achieving a balance between lightweight and
high surface quality. It exhibits excellent mechanical properties and dimensional stability, is
environmentally friendly and low-
odor, and is specifically designed for appliance casings and structural components. It is cost-controllable, suitable for industrial
mass production, and solves many pain points of existing technologies.
