Elastic wave device

Abstract

The present invention relates to an elastic wave device comprising a piezoelectric material 3, in particular a ferroelectric material with first domains 3a of a first polarization direction 13a and second domains 3b with a second polarization direction 13b, the first direction 13a being opposite to the second direction, in which the first and second domains 3a, 3b are periodically alternated in a direction d, called the periodic direction, perpendicular to the normal n of the surface of the piezoelectric material 3, and a pair of interdigitated comb electrodes 15a, 15b above, in particular on, the piezoelectric material 3 whose respective comb teeth 17a1 to 17a3 and 17b1 to 17b3 extend essentially perpendicular to the periodic direction d and to the normal n to the surface of the substrate.
