Claims

Claims

1. Orthodontic wax composition (2), comprising beeswax, representing from 50 to 80% by weight of the total composition, the composition is characterized in that it comprises natural chicle gum, in an amount of from 10 to 40% by weight of the total composition,

2. Composition according to the preceding claim in which the natural chicle gum is in an amount of 25 to 35% by weight of the total composition.

3. Composition according to the preceding claim in which the beeswax is at a level of 60 to 65% by weight of the total composition.

4. Composition according to any one of the preceding claims comprising virgin vegetable oil representing between 2% and 8% by weight of the composition.

5. Composition according to the preceding claim in which the virgin vegetable oil represents 7.5% by weight of the composition.

6. Composition according to any one of the two preceding claims in which the virgin vegetable oil is a coconut oil.

7. A composition according to any preceding claim comprising between 2 and 3% mint powder by weight of the composition.

8. A box comprising the composition according to any one of the preceding claims, the composition being in the solid state and in the form of bars and / or tablets.

9. A method of manufacturing a hot orthodontic wax composition in a tank at a temperature greater than or equal to 80 degrees, comprising the following steps: a. adding beeswax, representing 50 to 80% by weight of the total composition, b. adding natural chicle gum, at a rate of 10 to 40% by weight of the total composition, c. hot mixing of the components until emulsion d. cooling the composition in a mold until a bar or tablet is obtained.

10. Manufacturing process according to the preceding claim in which before the mixing step, a virgin vegetable oil is added re- presenting from 2 to 8% by weight of the total composition.
