In Figures 1 to 3, 7 and 8, the separation device 10 is illustrated alone, while Figures 4 to 6, which will be described below, illustrate the integration of the separation device 10 in the vehicle 16. Separating device (10) for creating a separation between the loading area (12) and the passenger compartment (14) of a vehicle (16), said separating device (10) having a folded position and a deployed position and comprising: a base (20) comprising at least one first fixing member (22) for fixing the base (20) to a backrest (32) of a folding rear seat (30) of the vehicle (16); a separating wall (40) connected to the base (20) in a pivoting manner about a first axis of rotation (A), such that the separating wall is tilted against the base (20) when the separating device is in the folded position; at least one first locking member (80) configured to block the rotation of the separating wall relative to the base about the first axis of rotation (A) when the separating device is in the deployed position.

A separating device according to claim 1, wherein the separating wall (40) comprises a first part (42) and a second part (44), the second part (44) being pivotally connected to the first part (42) about a second axis of rotation (B) which is parallel to the first axis of rotation (A), while the first part is pivotally connected to the base (20) about the first axis of rotation (A), the separating wall (40) having a folded state in which the second part (44) is tilted against a first face (42a) of the first part (42), and an unfolded state in which the first part (42) and the second part (44) extend in line with each other.

3. A separating device according to claim 2, wherein, in the folded position, the separating wall (40) is in the folded state and the second part (44) is arranged between the base (20) and the first part (42).

14. Vehicle (16) comprising a folding rear bench seat having a backrest (32) comprising at least one anchoring point, and a separation device according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the base of the separation device is fixed to the anchor point of the folding rear seat backrest.
