Glass (2) for a lighting device of a motor vehicle, characterized in that the glass (2) comprises a front face (4) and at least one side wall (6) extending perpendicularly or substantially perpendicularly to the front face (4) of the glass, and in that the front face (4) comprises an appendage (8) which extends beyond its side wall (6) so as to form a housing (10) intended to allow the insertion of an edge (16) of a bumper skin (14) to allow the alignment of the bumper skin with the glass (2).

2. Glass (2) according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises at least one rib (12) connecting its appendage (8) to its side wall (6).
