Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Cable support comprising two rotating discs and electrical installation comprising at least one such cable support
[0001] The present application relates to a cable support comprising two rotating discs, to an electrical installation comprising at least one such cable support and to an aircraft comprising such an electrical installation.
[0002] According to an embodiment visible in [Fig.1], an aircraft 10 comprises a fuselage 12, wings 14, main propulsion assemblies 16 and an auxiliary power unit 18.
[0003] The aircraft 10 includes an electrical installation 20 which comprises at least one electrical core 20.1 and at least one electrical route 20.2 connecting the electrical core 20.1 to various electrical sources 20.3 such as the main propulsion assemblies 16, the auxiliary power unit 18 or an emergency electrical source for example.
[0004] As illustrated in [Fig.2], each electrical route 20.2 comprises several cables 22.1, 22.2, several cable supports 24 distributed along the electrical route 20.2 and configured each to keep the electrical cables 22.1, 22.2 apart from each other and, for each cable support 24, a cable clamp 26 configured to hold the cables 22.1, 22.2 on the cable support 24 and connect the latter to a structure 28.
[0005] According to a prior art configuration shown in [Fig. 3], the electrical route 20.2 comprises six first cables 22.1 configured to carry a power current each, and a second cable 22.2 configured to carry an excitation current. Each cable support 24 comprises: a. a disc, b. several peripheral notches 30, one for each first cable 22.1, positioned at the peripheral edge of the disc, c. peripheral tabs 32, one for each first cable 22.1, connected to the peripheral edge of the disc and configured to hold the first cables 22.1 in their peripheral notches 30, d. a central hole 34 through the disc, e. two central tabs 36 positioned at the central hole 34 and configured to hold the second cable 22.2 between them.
[0006] Each peripheral tab 32 includes a first end 32.1 connected to the peripheral edge of the disc and a second end 32.2 spaced from the peripheral edge of the disc by a distance less than the diameter of a first cable 22.1.
[0007] Even if this prior art embodiment allows the first and second cables 22.1, 22.2 to be kept spaced apart, the cable support 24 is not fully satisfactory for the following reasons.
[0008] According to a first reason, the clamp 26 must be correctly oriented with respect to the orientation of the peripheral tabs 32. Otherwise, as illustrated in [Fig.3] in dotted lines, one end 26.1 of the metal strip forming the clamp 26 can get inserted between the second end 32.2 of a peripheral tab 32 and the peripheral edge of the disc and come into contact with the first cable 22.1 held by said peripheral tab 32.
[0009] According to a second reason, the distance separating the second end 32.2 of each peripheral tab 32 and the peripheral edge of the disc being less than the diameter of the first cables 22.1, it is difficult to insert each first cable 22.1 into its notch 30. Therefore, it is necessary to provide a tool in the form of a card to facilitate the insertion of each first cable between the second end 32.2 of a tab 32 and the peripheral edge of the disc.
[0010] The present invention aims to remedy all or part of the drawbacks of the prior art.

[0013] This cable support, in its open state, facilitates the insertion of the first cables into the first slots and, in its closed state, ensures effective retention of the first cables. According to another advantage, in its closed state, it allows the first cables to be separated from a cable tie designed to connect the cable support to a structure.
[0014] According to another feature, the second disc comprises a second peripheral song as well as, for each first housing, a second housing opening at the level of the second peripheral edge. In addition, the cable support includes, for each second housing, a tab, connected to the second disc, partially closing the second housing so as to allow a first cable to enter the first housing in the first angular position and to at least partially close the first housing in the second angular position.
[0015] According to another feature, each tab has a first end attached to the second disc and a second end spaced from the first disc in the first angular position and joined with the first disc in the second angular position.
[0016] According to another feature, each first housing is delimited by a first base and by first right and left side edges connecting the first base and the first peripheral edge. In addition, each second housing is delimited by a second base and by second right and left side edges connecting the second base and the second peripheral edge, the first right and left side edges being spaced apart by a first distance substantially equal to the diameter of a first cable, the second right and left side edges being spaced further apart than the first right and left side edges.
[0017] According to another feature, the second right and left side edges of each second housing are configured so that the first and second right side edges are superimposed in the first angular position and the first and second left side edges are superimposed in the second angular position.
[0018] According to another feature, the first disc includes at least one elastically deformable bead, at the level of at least one first housing, configured to allow insertion of a first cable into the first housing and its retention in said first housing.
[0019] According to another feature, at least one first housing includes a first extension for housing a second cable. In addition, each second housing, associated with a first housing having a first extension, includes a second extension configured to house a second cable; the cable support comprising, for each second extension, a finger integral with the second disc and partially closing the second extension so as to allow a second cable to enter the first extension in the first angular position and to at least partially close the first extension in the second angular position.
[0020] According to another feature, the first disk comprises at least one elastically deformable bead, at the level of at least one first extension, configured to allow the insertion of a second cable into the first extension and its retention in said first extension.
[0021] According to another feature, the cable support includes at least one locking system configured to occupy a locked state in which the locking system holds the first and second disks in the second angular position and an unlocked state in which the locking system allows the second disk to pivot relative to the first disk between the first and second angular positions.
[0022] According to another feature, the locking system comprises a first form attached to the second disk and a second form attached to the first disk, the first and second forms being configured to cooperate in the locked state and to be separated in the unlocked state.
[0023] According to another feature, the first shape corresponds to a hook located at the level of at least one tab. In addition, the second shape corresponds to a notch located at the level of the first disc and configured to retain the hook.
[0024] According to another feature, the first disc includes a lateral extension, at the right of the second peripheral edge of the second disc, at the level of which the notch is positioned.

[0040] An aircraft includes at least one electrical installation comprising at least one cable route which has at least two first cables 40 and at least one cable support 42 configured to support the first cables 40 and keep them apart.
[0041] According to one configuration, the cable route comprises first cables 40 configured to each carry a power electric current and at least one second cable 40' configured to carry an excitation electric current. The first cable 40 has a first diameter larger than the second diameter of the second cable 40'.
[0042] As illustrated in Figures 4 to 7, each cable support 42 comprises at least two first and second discs 44, 46 having inner faces 44.1, 46.1 oriented towards each other, outer faces 44.2, 46.2 opposite the inner faces 44.1, 46.1, and first and second peripheral edges 44.3, 46.3 connecting, for each of the first and second discs 44, 46, the inner and outer faces 44.1, 44.2, 46.1, 46.2, as well as first and second axes A44, A46. During operation, the inner faces 44.1, 46.1 are pressed against each other, and the second disc 46 is configured to pivot relative to the first disc 44 around the second axis A46.
[0043] According to one configuration, each of the first and second disks 44, 46 is perforated to limit its mass.

In addition, each of the first and second discs 44, 46 includes a first or second through hole 44.4, 46.4, cylindrical and coaxial with the first or second axis A44, A46, configured to house the pivot axis 48. According to an arrangement visible in [Fig. 4], the pivot axis 48 includes a cylindrical body 48.1 which has a diameter substantially equal to the diameter of the first and second through holes 44.4, 44.6 so as to form a pivoting link connecting each of the first and second discs 44, 46 and the pivot axis 48. In addition, the pivot axis 48 includes first and second heads 48.2, 48.3, positioned at each end of the cylindrical body 48.1, which have cross-sections larger than that of the cylindrical body 48.1 so as to immobilize the first and second discs 44, 46 in translation along a direction parallel to the first and second axes A44, A46. According to one embodiment, the first and second heads 48.2, 48.3 are spaced apart by a distance substantially equal to the sum of the thicknesses of the first and second disks 44, 46. Other solutions are conceivable to obtain a pivoting connection, linking the first and second disks 44, 46, which allows the second disk 46 to pivot relative to the first disk 44.
[0045] For each first cable 40, the first disk 44 includes a first housing 50 opening at the first peripheral edge 44.3 and configured to house the first cable 40. In one configuration, the first housing 50 has a U-shaped cross-section extending from the inner face 44.1 to the outer face 44.2, delimited by a first base 50.1 located at a distance from the first peripheral edge 44.3 of the first disk 44, and by first right and left lateral edges 50D, 50G that are substantially parallel to each other and connect the first base 50.1 and the first peripheral edge 44.3 of the first disk 44. The first base 50.1 describes an arc of a circle with a diameter substantially equal to the diameter of the first cable 40. The first right and left lateral edges 50D, 50G are spaced at a distance substantially equal to the diameter of the first cable 40. The first housing 50 presents a depth (greatest distance between the first bottom 50.1 and the first peripheral edge 44.3 of the first disc 44) greater than or equal to the diameter of the first cable 40. Each first housing 50 has first right and left edges 52D, 52G at the level of the first peripheral edge 44.3 of the first disc 44, respectively in the extension of the first right and left lateral edges 50D, 50G. .
[0046] According to one arrangement, the first disk 44 comprises as many first housings 50 as there are first cables 40 present in the cable route. According to one arrangement, the first housings 50 are evenly distributed around the entire circumference of the first disk 44.
[0047] The second disk 46 is configured to occupy a first angular position, visible in [Fig. 4] and corresponding to an open state, in which the second disk 46 allows each first cable 40 to be inserted into a first housing 50, as well as a second angular position, visible in [Fig. 5] and corresponding to a closed state, in which the second disk 46 prevents the first cables 40 from exiting the first housings 50 of the first disk 44.
[0048] To this end, the second disk 46 comprises, for each first housing 50, a second housing 54 configured to allow a first cable 40 to enter the first housing 50 in the first angular position visible in [Fig.4] and to prevent the first cable 40, positioned in the first housing 50, from exiting said first housing 50 in the second angular position visible in [Fig.5],
[0049] According to one embodiment, each second housing 54 opens at the level of the second peripheral edge 46.3, extends from the inner face 46.1 to the outer face 46.2 and includes a second bottom 54.1 as well as second right and left lateral edges 54D, 54G connecting the second bottom 54.1 and the second peripheral edge 46.3 of the second disc 46.
[0050] The second right and left lateral edges 54D, 54G are more widely spaced than the first right and left lateral edges 50D, 50G and are configured such that the first and second right lateral edges 50D, 54D are superimposed in the first angular position, as illustrated in [Fig. 4], and that the first and second left lateral edges 50G, 54G are superimposed in the second angular position, as illustrated in [Fig. 5]. Each second housing 54 has second right and left edges 56D, 56G at the level of the second peripheral edge 46.3 of the second disc 46, respectively in line with the second right and left lateral edges 54D, 54G.
[0051] The cable support 42 includes, for each second housing 54, a tab 58, positioned in the extension of the second peripheral edge 46.3, which has a first end 58.1 connected to the second left lateral edge 54G, more precisely to the second left edge 56G of the second housing 54, and a second end 58.2 spaced from the second right lateral edge 54D, more precisely from the second right edge 56D of the second housing 54, to allow the passage of a first cable 40. The second end 58.2 of the tab 58 is spaced from the second right edge 56D of the second housing 54 by a distance substantially equal to or greater than the diameter of the first cable 40.Regardless of the embodiment, the cable support 42 includes, for each second housing 54, a tab 58, connected to the second disc 46, partially closing the second housing 54 so as to allow a first cable 40 to enter the first housing 50 in the first angular position and to at least partially close the first housing 50 in the second angular position.
[0052] For each pair of first and second housings 50, 54, the second end 58.2 of the tab 58 is spaced from the first disc 44 in the first position angular, corresponding to the open state, and contiguous with the first disk 44 in the second angular position corresponding to the closed state.
[0053] According to one embodiment, at least a first housing 50 comprises a first extension 60, for housing a second cable 40', which extends from the inner face 44.1 to the outer face 44.2 and has a U-shaped section comprising a third bottom 60.1 distant from the first bottom 50.1 of the first housing 50 as well as third lateral edges right and left 60D and 60D substantially parallel to each other and connecting the third bottom 60.1 and the first bottom 50.1 of the first housing 50. The third bottom 60.1 describes an arc of a circle which has a diameter substantially equal to the diameter of the second cable 40'. The third lateral right and left sides 60D, 60G are spaced at a third distance approximately equal to the diameter of the second cable 40', less than the diameter of the first cable 40. The first extension 60 has a depth (greatest distance between the third bottom 60.1 and the first bottom 50.1 of the first housing 50) greater than the diameter of the second cable 40' so that a first cable 40 in contact with the first bottom 50.1 of the first housing 50 is spaced from the second cable 40' in contact with the third bottom 60.1 of the first extension 60. The latter includes third right and left edges 62D, 62G at the level of the first bottom 50.1 of the first housing 50, respectively in the extension of the third right and left lateral edges 60D, 60G. .
[0054] In addition, each second housing 54, associated with a first housing 50 provided with a first extension 60 to house a second cable 40', includes a second extension 64, configured to house a second cable 40', which extends from the inner face 46.1 to the outer face 46.2 and has a section delimited by a fourth bottom 64.1 distant from the second bottom 54.1 of the second housing 54 as well as by fourth right and left lateral edges 64D and 64D substantially parallel to each other and connecting the fourth bottom 64.1 and the second bottom 54.1 of the second housing 54.
[0055] The fourth right and left lateral edges 64D, 64G of the second extension 64 are spaced further apart than the third right and left lateral edges 60D, 60G of the first extension 60 and are configured such that the third and fourth right lateral edges 60D, 64D are superimposed in the first angular position, as illustrated in [Fig. 4], and the third and fourth left lateral edges 60G, 64G are superimposed in the second angular position, as illustrated in [Fig. 5]. Each second extension 64 has fourth right and left edges 66D, 66G at the level of the second bottom 54.1 of the second housing 54, respectively in line with the fourth right and left lateral edges 64D, 64G of the second extension 64.
[0056] According to one embodiment, the cable support 42 comprises, for each second extension 64, a finger 68, integral with the second disc 46 and positioned in the extension of the second base 54.1 of the second housing 54, which has a first end 68.1 connected to the fourth left edge 66G of the second extension 64 and a second end 68.2 spaced from the fourth right edge 56D of the second extension 64 to allow the passage of a second cable 40'. The second end 68.2 of the finger 68 is spaced from the fourth right edge 66D of the second extension 64 by a distance substantially equal to, or very slightly greater than, the diameter of a second cable 40' and less than the diameter of a first cable 40'.Thus, as illustrated in Figures 4 and 5, each finger 68 partially closes the second extension 64 so as to allow a second cable 40' to enter the first extension 60 in the first angular position corresponding to the open state and to at least partially close the first extension 60 in the second angular position corresponding to the closed state. In this state, the finger 68 separates the first and second cables 40, 40'.
[0057] In operation, the second cable 40' is housed in the first and second extensions 60, 64, in contact with the third and fourth bottoms 60.1, 64.1. Each first cable 40 is housed in a pair of first and second housings 50, 54, in contact with the first and second bottoms 50.1, 54.1. The finger 68 allows the first and second cables 40, 40' to be kept apart.
[0058] According to one embodiment, the cable support 42 includes at least one locking system 70 configured to occupy a locked state in which the locking system 70 holds the first and second disks 44, 46 in the second angular position corresponding to the closed state and an unlocked state in which the locking system 70 allows the second disk 46 to pivot relative to the first disk 44 between the first and second angular positions.
[0059] According to a configuration visible in figures 8 and 9, the locking system 70 comprises a first form 70.1 attached to at least one tab 58 connected to the second disk 46 and a second form 70.2 attached to the first disk 44, the first and second forms 70.1, 70.2 being configured to cooperate in the locked state and to be separated in the unlocked state. According to one arrangement, the first shape 70.1 corresponds to a hook 72 located at the second end 58.2 of at least one tab 58. The second shape 70.2 corresponds to a notch 74 located at the first disc 44 configured to retain the hook 72. The first disc 44 includes a lateral extension 76 at the second peripheral edge 46.3 of the second disc 46, at which the notch 74 is positioned. In addition, the first disc 44 includes a loop 78 positioned on the lateral extension 76 and configured to guide the tab 58 and keep the hook 72 engaged with the notch 74.
[0060] According to one configuration, the cable support 42 includes as many locking systems 70 as there are tabs 58. Thus, each tab 58 has a hook 72 at its second end 58.2. In addition, for each tab 58, the first disc 44 includes a lateral extension 76 which has a notch 74 and a loop 78.
[0061] Of course, the invention is not limited to this embodiment for the guide system 70.
