Abstract

Title: Anhydrous Composition with a Particular Polyester, a Volatile Nonpolar Hydrocarbon Oil, and a Volatile Polar Hydrocarbon Solvent Compatible with Said Polyester. The present invention relates to an anhydrous composition comprising: a) at least one polyester which is the reaction product of the following components (i), (ii), and (iii): (i) at least one polyglycerol-3; (ii) at least one dimeric acid; and (iii) at least one mono-fatty acid having from 8 to 30 carbon atoms, the reacting components (i), (ii), and (iii) being in a molar ratio of 1 mole of polyglycerol-3, from 0.5 to 1 mole of dimeric acid, and from 0.1 to less than 2.0 moles of mono-fatty acid; b) optionally at least one non-volatile hydrocarbon oil; etc.) at least one volatile nonpolar hydrocarbon oil; and d) at least one volatile polar hydrocarbon solvent compatible with said polyester;the weight ratio of the total quantity of volatile nonpolar hydrocarbon oil(s) to the total quantity of volatile polar hydrocarbon solvent(s) ranging from 70 / 30 to 5 / 95. It also relates to a process for coating keratinous materials, more particularly for makeup and / or care of keratinous materials such as skin, lips, eye contour, eyelids, eyelashes and eyebrows, in which said composition is applied.
