CHICO BRUSH

Abstract

A device for cleaning teeth. The classic toothbrush presents a dexterity problem for vulnerable users. The Chico Brush addresses this problem with its unique shape. [Fig. 1] shows the classic Chico Brush. It consists of a head and a bag. The upper part: the head is made of filaments (1) that fit onto a silicone surface (2) that slips onto a finger. The lower part is a plastic bag (3) that covers the hand up to the wrist. It can be adjusted using a wrist strap (4). There are two versions: [Fig. 2] The first version has a bamboo head (5) onto which a siwak (6) is glued, along with the classic Chico Brush bag. [Fig. 3] The second version is designed to be eco-friendly. This Chico Brush has a bamboo head (5) onto which a siwak (6) is glued. The second version is stored in a wooden box [Fig. 4]. Title of the invention: CHICO BRUSH

[0001] The present invention relates to a teeth cleaning tool. This device is innovative in its shape and the materials chosen for its manufacture.

[0002] The toothbrush consisting of a head and a handle is nothing like the present device. The conventional toothbrush presents a dexterity problem for users. This is a problem for vulnerable individuals: children, people with disabilities, and the elderly. These people need assistance to brush their teeth because they have difficulty with the handle of the conventional toothbrush.

[0003] Indeed, the Chico Brush solves this problem. It requires the use of only one finger. It slips onto a finger and is not held by a handle.

[0004] The Chico Brush is also aimed at the general public, particularly travellers who want a lighter toothbrush that is easily transportable.

[0005] This model allows for the maintenance of good oral hygiene with just one finger. Furthermore, its practical shape allows it to be slipped into any toiletry bag.

[0008] The upper part: the head is made up of plastic filaments (1). These filaments are inserted onto one side of the silicone (2) which can be threaded onto a finger.

[0009] While the lower part is a plastic bag (3) covering the hand up to the wrist, it can be adjusted using a hand strap (4).

[0011] [Fig. 2] The first variant has an upper part: the head of the Chico Brush. This can be made of bamboo (5) onto which a siwak (6) is glued. The lower part (the Chico Brush bag) remains the same as the classic Chico Brush. Using glue, the lower part is attached to the upper part.

[0012] [Fig.3] Then the second variant represents an ecological variant of the invention. Indeed, the silicone part of the Chico Brush head is made of bamboo and the plastic filaments are replaced by siwak (6).

[0013] The siwak is the root of the shrub Salvadora persica (of the Salvadoraceae family).

[0014] Indeed, according to a first characteristic, the person brushing their teeth slips the Chico Brush onto their finger, then arranges the bag up to their wrist. And finally, using a plastic-covered elastic band, the person adjusts the bag on their wrist. Furthermore, Her bag helps keep your hands clean and prevents germs from being transferred from your hands to your mouth.

[0015] The Chico Brush is manufactured in three stages:

[0016] The first step consists of manufacturing the upper part of the Chico Brush. Filaments are stacked onto the silicone tip. The silicone tip is adaptable to any type of finger.

[0017] The second step consists of manufacturing the lower part of the Chico Brush, or the Chico Brush bag, using the extrusion-blowing process. A polymer (granules or powder) is melted and transformed into a long filament of variable thickness. For the Chico Brush bag, the thickness would be 120 micrometers. This film is then cooled by passing it over a temperature-controlled roller.

[0018] Once the extrusion is complete, rolls of plastic are formed. These rolls are used to proceed to the next step, which consists of weaving the polypropylene using circular looms. This is a specific piece of equipment that makes it possible to produce woven fabrics from flat, tube-shaped polypropylene yarns.

[0019] The Chico Brush bag is customizable. Once these tubes are obtained, the text and design desired by the customer (the customer's first name, initials, chosen design, etc.) can be printed in color. This is done by printing the designs onto the bags using an ink pad.

[0020] Then the cutting is done using cutting machines.

[0021] At the wrist, a plastic-covered elastic wristband (4) will allow adjustment on the wrist.

[0022] The third step in the manufacture of the Chico Brush consists of assembling the two parts with a silicone-based glue.

[0023] In addition to the original Chico Brush, two other types of Chico Brush are manufactured: 1. The first variant has an upper part: the Chico Brush head. This can be made of bamboo onto which a siwak (6) is glued. The lower part (the Chico Brush bag) remains the same as that of the classic Chico Brush. Using glue, the lower part is attached to the upper part. 2. To respect nature, a second variant of the Chico Brush has been designed. The upper part of the Chico Brush head can be made of bamboo onto which a siwak (6) is glued.

1. A teeth cleaning device characterized in that it comprises a head and a bag. The head is made of plastic filaments (1). These filaments are inserted onto one side of the silicone (2) which can be slipped onto a finger. The plastic bag (3), covering the hand up to the wrist, is adjustable by means of a wrist strap (4).

2. A device having a first variant. The upper part of the Chico Brush head can be made of bamboo (5) onto which a siwak (6) is glued. The lower part (the Chico Brush bag) remains the same as that of claim 1. Using an adhesive, the lower part is glued to the upper part.

3. Device having a second variant. The upper part of the Chico Brush head can be made of bamboo (5) onto which a siwak (6) is glued. This second variant is stored in a wooden box.

4. A device whose manufacturing processes are based on extrusion blow molding, polypropylene weaving, and bonding. These three processes are used simultaneously in the manufacture of the Chico Brush.
