Abstract

FRAME FOR FACADE OPENING The invention relates to a frame for a facade opening, comprising two vertical side walls (1) and a horizontal top wall (2), metallic, covering, at the lateral and upper level, an opening in the facade of a building and having, at the end corresponding to the inner face of the frame, straight peripheral fins (11, 21), arranged coplanarly in a vertical plane and which protrude from the outer contour of the frame; said frame comprises a peripheral profile (3) formed entirely, or in part, in a thermally insulating material with thermal break; said peripheral profile (3) being fixed, at the front level, to said peripheral fins (11, 21) and flush with the inner surface of said side walls (1) and upper wall (2);said peripheral profile (3) comprising two lateral uprights (31) and an upper upright for the thermally broken mounting of a closure for the facade opening.
