Abstract

A multiphase motor (1) comprising a stator (2); N coils (W1,…, WN); a rotor (4); and N control modules (C1, …, CN). Each control module (Ci) includes an input interface (INi) for obtaining, among other things, input harmonic data selectively dependent on input Fourier coefficients of interest relating to a torque signal representing a time evolution of the torque generated by the multiphase motor (1); a neural network (Ri) trained to generate, from the input harmonic data, output harmonic data selectively dependent on output Fourier coefficients of interest relating to a phase signal to help reduce torque oscillation; a reconstruction module (Xi) for reconstructing the phase signal from the output harmonic data; and an output interface (Oi) configured to control the coil using the phase signal.
