Abstract

Counterweight arrangement and tensioning system for at least one cable, in particular a catenary cable. The invention relates mainly to a counterweight arrangement (6) for a tensioning system (1) for at least one conductor cable of a catenary (3), which tensioning system (1) further comprises a means for energizing said conductor cable (2), characterized in that the counterweight arrangement (6) comprises: a first part (7) intended to be connected to the energizing means (5), and a second part (8) connected to the first part (7) in the extension of the first part and comprising a plurality of removable weights (9), which second part (8) is movable relative to said first part (7) between a position close to the first part (7) and a position far from the first part (7), and means for moving the second part (8) relative to the first part (7), actuable at a distance from the second part (8).Figure to be published with the abbreviation: Fig. 1.
