Abstract

Protective hood, particularly for welding. This protective hood (10) includes an optical unit (20) with two transparent screens (22A; 22B), which are connected by a sealing structure (24) and form a cavity (V22) between them. The sealing structure has a top opening (26A), through which the cavity (V22) opens and which is designed to be connected to a ventilation air duct (98), and a bottom opening (26B). The protective hood includes a face mask (40), which defines a breathing zone (Z40) and is configured to be secured over the user's nose and mouth. The face mask has an air inlet (40A), through which the breathing zone (Z40) is fluidly connected to the bottom opening, and an air outlet (40B) for the exhaust of the air breathed by the user. In operating configuration, an airflow carried by the duct reaches the breathing zone by passing through the cavity.Figure for the abbreviation: Figure 2.
