Abstract
A method for manufacturing a fibrous preform for reinforcing composite parts with significant local thickness variation by insert. A method for manufacturing a fibrous preform for a composite part, the method comprising: - the creation of a fibrous texture by three-dimensional weaving, the fibrous texture comprising first and second parts, the first part comprising a debonding delimiting an internal cavity (440), - the creation of an insertion element (10) comprising one or more plies (11, 12, 13, 14, 15) each consisting of a fiber mat, - the arrangement of the insertion element (10) in the internal cavity (440) so as to obtain a fibrous preform (600) comprising a first preform part (603) having, in a thickness direction (DE), a thickness (E603) greater than the thickness (E608) of a second preform part (608) adjacent to the first preform part (603) Figure for the abridged version: Fig. 3.
