The present invention relates to a power module (6) for an inverter in a motor vehicle, comprising a main body (14) having a lower portion (16) and an upper portion (18) delimited by a junction plane (20), the power module (6) comprising at least one connection module of a first polarity (10, 10A), a connection module of a second polarity (10, 10B), and a connection plate (12) extending at least partially into the junction plane (20), at least one of the connection modules (10, 10A, 10B) comprising a connection terminal (36) and a connecting element (38) overlapping the connection terminal (36), at least one wall of the connecting element (38) extending mainly in a plane distinct from the junction plane (20).
