Abstract

The present invention pertains to a utility model in the field of construction, specifically targeting scaffolding structures of the type having at least two upstanding, spaced apart vertical poles that are connected by a generally horizontally oriented rail / bar. The anti- climb devices are installed along the horizontal rail. The invention discloses a unique scaffolding anti-climb device consisting of three parts: a right cup, a center disc, and a left cup. These components are designed to be stacked together for convenient storage and can interconnect and easily slip along the horizontal rail of the scaffolding bars when in use. By arranging them on the horizontal rail of the scaffolding in a free rolling configuration, the device forms a row of anti-climb items that are challenging to grip. The wide circumference and free-rolling nature of the device effectively deters potential climbers, preventing them from securely holding onto the scaffolding. The inventive design enhances safety and security in construction environments by discouraging unauthorized climbing on scaffolding structures.

Claims

The Claims (11) defining the invention are as follows:Claim 1: A scaffolding anti-climb device for being installed on horizontal rail of the scaffolding, it is characterized by a first said right cup, second said left cup and a center disc means are provided with a mounting structure that corresponds to the diameter of the scaffold pole, for fixed installation on adjacent horizontal rails of a scaffold;wherein the left cup element and the right cup element are configured to inter-stack for storage and are adapted to be slipped along the most accessible horizontal scaffolding bars, allowing the left cup element, the center disc element, and the right cup element to interconnect and form a free-rolling row of anti-climb structure. The center disc element is also configured to inter-stack for ease of storage.Claim 2: a scaffolding anti-climb device according to claim 1, wherein the scaffolding has at least two upstanding vertical poles connected by a horizontal rail provides support means that in use, the anti-climb device shall be fitted along the horizontal rail.Claim 3: a scaffolding anti-climb device according to claim 1, wherein the left cup element, the center disc element, and the right cup element have a circumference sufficient to prevent a person from gripping or holding on to the device while attempting to climb the scaffolding.Claim 4: a scaffolding anti-climb device according to claim 1, wherein the left cup element, the center disc element, and the right cup element are designed to securely fit with a generally horizontally oriented elongate rail connecting the vertical scaffolding bars.Claim 5: a scaffolding anti-climb device according to claim 1, wherein the left cup element, the center disc element, and the right cup element are configured to allow easy installation and removal, facilitating efficient deployment and use on scaffolding structures.Claim 6: a scaffolding anti-climb device according to claim 1, wherein the left cup element, the center disc element, and the right cup element are detachable and interchangeable.Claim 7: a scaffolding anti-climb device according to claim 1, wherein the left cup element, the center disc element, and the right cup element are designed to provide a visual deterrent, alerting individuals to the presence of the anti-climb device on the scaffolding structure.Claim 8: a scaffolding anti-climb device according to claim 1, wherein the left cup element, the center disc element, and the right cup element are resistant to corrosion, rust, and adverse weather conditions.Claim 9: a scaffolding anti-climb device according to claim 1, wherein the left cup element, the center disc element, and the right cup element are lightweight and ergonomically designed.Claim 10: a scaffolding anti-climb device according to claim 1, further support means through a mechanism of slotting together for securing the left cup element and the right cup element to the center disc.Claim 11: a scaffolding anti-climb device according to claim 1, that does not contain spikes or sharp protrusions as is common in other rail guards.
