Sport post barrier

Abstract

A protective layer configured to be attached to a sports post comprises one or more padding elements 10 made from a force-absorbing material, surrounded by an outer layer formed from a weather-resistant material a first and second end of the protective layer comprise fastening features 30 such that the ends of the folded protective layer can be fastened together to secure the layer around the post, forming a closed loop around the post 60. The padding elements may include bevelled edges (20, fig. 1) allowing folding of the protective layer to form a closed loop. A top cover (80, fig. 5) may be provided that attaches to the protective layer and may include a camara or camera mount. The protective layer may include an aperture to receive surface features of the spots post such as attachments for a tennis net.
