Abstract

There is provided an apparatus comprising means for: receiving, from one or more second user equipments in a sidelink (SL) positioning session with a first user equipment, respective 5 reference user equipment selection assistance information; selecting a reference user equipment from among the one of the one or more second user equipments based on the reference user equipment selection assistance information; and sending, to the selected reference user equipment, an indication that it has been selected as the reference user equipment for the sidelink positioning session.
