Abstract
Claims
1. An endovascular catheter that provides a non occlusive way to isolate a segment of recipient blood vessel, thus allowing for surgical anastomosis of a donor blood vessel on to recipient blood vessel.
2. A non occlusive endovascular catheter according to claim 1, which allows the blood to continue to flow into distal part of recipient blood vessel through in internal channel within the catheter, thus avoiding any ischemia to the brain.
3. A non occlusive endovascular catheter according to claim 1, which has two balloons that can be inflated within the recipient blood vessel thus isolating a segment of blood vessel between these two inflated balloons from normal blood flow.
4. A non occlusive endovascular catheter according to claim 1, which allows the donor blood vessel to be anastomosed to a recipient blood vessel in a bloodless environment as that segment is isolated between two balloons inflated within the recipient blood vessel.
5. A non occlusive endovascular catheter according to claim 1, which has perforations in the catheter connecting to its inner most channel that allow the blood to enter the inner most channel and hence flow through this inner most channel to the distal part of recipient blood vessel.
