Abstract
Claims
1 An on-street parking protector device including:(a) A tab which is gripped in the vertical gap between the front most offside door and front wing of a parked vehicle.(b) A wing which has a proximal edge adjacent to the tab, and a distal edge that is remote from the tab, that matches or substantially matches the projection of an average external rear view car door mirror.2 An on-street parking protector device of claim 1, wherein said tab includes integrated protruding ribs which run along the length of the tab in a horizontal aspect, positioned one above the other when in use.3 An on-street parking protector device of claim 2, wherein upon fitting, said ribs are caused to bend over, exerting pressure against the front most door and front wing, gripping the tab in its desired position.4 An on-street parking protector device of claim 2, wherein upon fitting, said ribs are caused to compress, exerting pressure against the front most door and front wing, gripping the tab in its desired position.5 An on-street parking protector device of claim 2, wherein upon fitting, said ribs are caused to deform, exerting pressure against the front most door and front wing, gripping the tab in its desired position.6 An on-street parking protector device as claimed in any of the proceeding claims, wherein there is more than one rib.7 An on-street parking protector device as claimed in any of the proceeding claims, wherein the overall thickness of the tab including any ribs, is greater than the width of the vertical gap between the closed front most door and front wing.8 An on-street parking protector device as claimed in any of the proceeding claims, wherein the tab and wing are integrally formed as one piece.9 An on-street parking protector device of claim 1, wherein said wing is partly or substantially hexagonal.10 An on-street parking protector device of claim 1, wherein said wing is partly or substantially rectangular.11 An on-street parking protector device of claim 1, wherein said wing is partly or wholly reflective.12 An on-street parking protector device of claim 1, wherein said wing has partly or wholly fluorescent / neon-coloured surfaces.13 An on-street parking protector device of claim 1, wherein said wing has a partly or wholly bright surface.14 An on-street parking protector device as claimed in any of the proceeding claims, wherein said material is flexible.
