Abstract
Claims
1. An attachment for a ratchet tie-down webbing strap double J hook, which hook has a double hook end and a webbing strap attachment end, with a generally triangular opening therebetween, dimensioned to receive a vehicle load restraint hook therewithin, which attachment comprises a piece of resilient material, shaped to fit over the double J hook between the double J hook end and the webbing strap attachment end and covering the triangular opening, the resilient material defining a first orifice, at one end thereof, through which first orifice the tip of the double J hook is held, in use, with the other end of the resilient material being attachable at the webbing strap attachment end of the double J hook, the resilient material further defining a second orifice through which the vehicle load restraint hook is passable, in use, such thatthedouble J hookis held in place when it is attached to the vehicle load restraint hook.
2. An attachment as claimed in Claim 1, wherein the second orifice is centrally located therein over the triangular opening of the double J hook, in use.

An attachment as claimed in Claim 1 or 2, wherein the piece of resilient material is a generally rectangular strip, with the first and second orifices being located on the longitudinal centre line of the strip, with a pair of opposing open attachment slots on the longitudinal sides of the strip at the end of the strip, adjacent the webbing strap attachment end of the double J hook.
4. An attachment as claimed in Claim 3, wherein the pair of opposing open attachment slots are shaped to receive a cable tie, in use, for attaching the strip to the webbing at the webbing strap attachment end of the double J hook.
5. An attachment as claimed in Claim 3, wherein the half of the strip to one side of the longitudinal central line is a mirror image of the other side.
