Improvements in impact protection covers for cameras

Abstract

A camera impact protection cover comprises a weather-proof protective cover 1A which houses a digital camera 2A with a zoom lens 7A which is inserted into the cover via an opening flap 13 to the bottom of the cover. The cover includes an internally supported conical frontally extending lens section 5A into which the zoom lens of the camera is inserted; the cover being attached to the end of the zoom lens by a rubber lens collar 6A. The arrangement allows the zoom lens 7A to extend in and out while inside the protective cover. The protective cover includes a soft foam lining 9 within both a body portion and a lens portion of the cover. The camera can be optionally extension pole mounted and operated using extending control cables or wirelessly connected via a smart phone or device. The internal supported lens section may include internal supporting straps 8 which fold and / or extend as the lens zooms in and out during use. Figure 2
