Abstract

A method for controlling a turbocharger includes: obtaining a suitable operating condition of a vehicle (200), wherein said operating condition is configured to indicate a working state of an internal component of the vehicle during driving, said operating condition includes a working state of the turbocharger; determining a surge line corresponding to the turbocharger (201), wherein said surge line is configured to represent an airflow oscillation phenomenon occurring along a direction of the compressor axis, said surge line being determined from a boost characteristic curve; and adjusting a first opening angle of the exhaust valve or a second opening angle corresponding to a vehicle accelerator pedal (202), if said operating condition corresponds to a predetermined relationship with the surge line.
