Abstract
The invention of a sandal-shaped device that uses a vibration transmitter with a certain magnitude for the detection and therapy of diabetic neuropathy. The transmitter as a device that produces vibrations is sourced from an electric voltage sourced from an 8 Volt battery combined with a step-up converter circuit. The vibration actuator system is capable of producing an acceleration of 0.1-3.4 m / s2 and a speed of 0.2-3.2 mm / s which is then converted into Volts. The results indicate that the patient has neuropathy if they feel a vibration ≥25 V. The sandal part is the part that will be used to provide a vibration sensation to the patient's feet through a vibrator motor. The patient presses the response button when the patient feels a vibration to determine the results of the neuropathy examination. Next, the patient can choose a stimulus therapy, then the sandal will produce vibrations of 90% of the VPT of each point during early detection of neuropathy for 10 minutes.These sandals can be connected to a system with a user interface in the form of a website and an Android-based application that can be operated in a healthcare setting or independently, the system manages the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connection between the application and the sandals, controls the sequence of examinations and stimulus therapy, processes user responses to determine the Vibration Perception Threshold (VPT) value, and saves the examination results to a cloud-based database that can be accessed via a web interface or Android application.
