Abstract

This simple detachable collar can be worn over a T-shirt or other item when wearing a kimono, giving the appearance of wearing traditional Japanese undergarments. At first glance, the shape of this item resembles the collar of a traditional Japanese undergarment, with a half-collar-shaped "kakeeri" (folded collar) overlapping the "jieri" (base collar). The front and back of the "kakeeri" (folded collar) are sewn parallel to the collar line, creating a pouch-like gap between the "kakeeri" and "jieri" (base collar) on both sides. When a collar stiffener is inserted into this area on both sides, it is sewn evenly across the width of the collar stiffener, preventing it from shifting or shifting from the collar line. This allows the simple detachable collar to maintain a beautiful, firm neckline. While traditional collar stiffeners could only be inserted and removed through the tip of the half-collar-shaped "kakeeri" (folded collar), this item can be inserted and removed through an opening located on the collar seam line opposite the collar line. Collar stays are typically a single, thin, short piece, and it has traditionally been extremely difficult to insert them from the tip of the collar, reach around the neck, and adjust them to an even length on both sides before storing them. Similarly, removing them requires reaching your fingertips into the long, thin collar and pulling the stays out from the tip of the collar, which is a time-consuming process. However, this product features an opening on the collar seam line opposite the collar crest line. The top of the opening is positioned toward the center of the inserted collar stays, which are evenly spaced around the back of the neck. This opening is wide enough for the collar stays to be inserted and removed, making it easier to do so. This product reliably prevents the collar stays from shifting out of place due to misalignment. Furthermore, by providing an opening specifically for inserting and removing the collar stays in a completely different location than before, this simple and convenient collar stay eliminates the hassle and hassle of inserting and removing the collar stays.
