Abstract

This article is a cover for protecting the imaging table, which is attached to a mammography unit equipped with an X-ray irradiation unit and an imaging table. As shown in [Reference Diagram Showing the Installation State of This Article], this article is used by being attached to the imaging table of the mammography unit. As shown in [Reference Perspective Diagram Showing the Names of Each Part], an alignment groove is provided in this article. By fitting the alignment groove into the locking portion provided in the mammography unit, this article is aligned with the imaging table. Further, a magnet is embedded inside this article. This article is fixed to the imaging table by the magnetic force of this magnet. Furthermore, separately from the magnet, a fixing member for fixing the specimen box shown in [Reference Diagram Showing the Installation State of This Article] to a predetermined position on the imaging table is embedded in this article. The specimen box houses biological tissue, which is a specimen collected from inside the breast. The fixing member is a magnetic body and can fix the specimen box to the imaging table by attracting each other with the magnet provided in the specimen box by magnetic force. These magnet and fixing member are visible from the upper surface side of this article through a transparent body member. Further, the bottom surfaces of these magnet and fixing member are arranged flush with the bottom surface of the body member and are exposed on the bottom surface side of this article.
