Abstract

The revetment block of this article is used by laying it on the slope of a river embankment, etc., as shown in the reference plan view showing the state of use and the reference side view showing the state of use, and is a block that is laid on the back slope of the river side of the embankment to protect the back slope from water overflowing the top of the embankment. The revetment block is provided with connecting metal fittings at its four corners, and adjacent revetment blocks are connected using these connecting metal fittings to fix the laid revetment blocks together. In addition, the revetment block is provided with four through holes facing up and down. As a result, even if water overflows the top of the embankment and flows under the laid revetment block, the water gushes out from the through holes, preventing the laid revetment block from floating up. Furthermore, by providing four protrusions on the top surface of the revetment block, the protrusions can prevent the covered soil from flowing out when the covered soil is applied.
