Ornamental fish feeder

Abstract

This is an ornamental fish feeder used to feed ornamental fish kept in an aquarium. When the item is immersed in an aquarium, as shown in the reference cross-sectional view of line AA showing the state of use, buoyancy acts on the upper frame part, and the main body of the item is kept floating in the water. When food is scattered from the opening of the upper frame in this state, the food temporarily floats on the surface of the water at the opening, but since it floats on the surface of the water inside the inner wall of the frame, the food does not scatter in the aquarium. The upper frame is supported by three thin pillars, and the fish in the aquarium can easily enter the item from the opening between the pillars and eat the food floating on the surface of the water at the opening of the upper frame. Food left by the fish gradually sinks from the surface of the water into the water and accumulates in the filter part, which acts as a receptacle and is detachably placed at the bottom of the item. By replacing this filter part and cleaning it regularly, it is possible to prevent the water quality in the aquarium from deteriorating due to the food spoiling.
