Abstract

This product is a cardboard packaging box for packaging fresh, heavy goods that require refrigeration, such as tuna. The box body is a horizontally elongated rectangular parallelepiped, and is formed by bonding and connecting two L-shaped pieces of material to each other at a glued portion. Flat inner and outer pads are superimposed on each of the four inner surfaces of this box body, and the inner and outer pads improve the heat retention of the sides of the box body. The lateral dimension of the inner pad is shorter than the lateral dimension of the outer pad, and thus a space is formed at each of the four corners of the box body. Since the inner and outer pads attached to the inner surface of the box body are thick, when an external force is applied to the box body to fold it into a flat shape when shipping multiple products, the external force is concentrated at the corners of the box body, causing damage to the corners, but the spaces provide an escape, and damage to the corners is avoided. On the other hand, the bottom of the box body has two flaps on each of the long sides of the box body overlapping each other over almost the entire width, improving the heat retention of the bottom and preventing the bottom of the box body from falling out due to the weight of a heavy object stored inside when the box body is wrapped around the circumference with string material. In addition, the overlap dimension of the two flaps on each of the long sides of the ceiling of the box body is shorter than the overlap dimension of the two flaps on the bottom side, which makes it easier to seal with adhesive tape. Furthermore, since a maximum of three flaps overlap on the bottom side of the box body, fold lines are drawn at a predetermined height from the bottom of the box body as shown in the front view to absorb the thickness.
